Kilbaha cottage is uniquely perched on one end of Kilbaha Bay in Loop Head, with panoramic views over the Atlantic and the ships and fishing boats that pass it's door. Set in ten acres just off the Wild Atlantic Way, it has a rocky cove on the shore and endless scope for exploration, be it with bucket and spade or binoculars. Loop Head is still a well kept secret and visitors find it unspoilt and deserving of it's many awards. A recent one being the European Destination of Excellence. The house has recently had an extensive refit, which kept all that makes it special, but adding a wet room, wood burning stove and a new shower area near the sauna. The three bedrooms are double with the master suite having it's own bathroom. A separate loft room over the kitchen is a quiet space to read or watch a movie and usually a gathering place for the children. While there is a wonderful sense of remoteness in Loop Head you are never far from a great meal or a small harbour to pick up your lobster and crab for dinner. You can see the lobster pots being emptied outside the house by the local fishermen, and drive to the harbour to get the freshest catch imaginable.

This house is such an amazing property — it’s the perfect place for a cozy getaway. The views did not disappoint! It was well stocked with everything we needed and Ciara and Damien were great hosts. The house was more than enough space for our family of 5 and we never ran out of things to do in the area. This cottage made our spring break to Ireland one to remember!
The cottage, set in a beautiful spot, and the kindness of our host made our Ireland getaway truly special — even Storm Amy was a spectacular sight to see.
A stay in this home was just what we needed to disconnect and unplug. There is an amazing view from every single window, the home is very clean and cared for and the kitchen is well stocked to make meals. We enjoyed everything the cottage offered. Make sure to visit nearby towns of Carrigaholt and Kilkee. It was a magical stay!
Wonderful, comfortable house in a very authentic look. Breathtaking views. House was very clean and all amenities provided. We enjoyed very much the small sauna as the weather didn’t feel like summer. I could recommend this house without any restrictions and would come back at any time.
We had a wonderful week at the Kilbaha cottage! It was all we were hoping for and more. I can't say enough good things. The setting was perfect, the house was clean and fully stocked, and the area around offered plenty of opportunities for exploration. It was truly a dream vacation, and we can't wait to go back!
The cottage is beautiful, a real home. The view is fantastic and everything was described perfectly. There were no problems and i think everyone who stayed here wants to come back as soon as possible :-)
Just a beautiful cottage and location. We’ve stayed at Kilbaha Cottage on several occasions, but each time we are still amazed at the beauty of Kilcloher.
The cottage is lovely as well. Clean, well supplied and tastefully decorated.
Thanks for a brilliant holiday!
Kilbaha cottage was amazing!! It had wonderful amenities such as a sauna which my husband really enjoyed, every kitchen item you could ever possibly need and a full washer and dryer. The views will leave you speechless! The cottage makes you feel like you are at home. Loop Head peninsula is a more secluded area which we really appreciated. Kilbaha Cottage totally surpassed my expectations! Thank you to Ciara and Helen for maintaining the home at such an excellent level. We will be back!!
This gorgeous house is so comfortable and relaxing. The setting is very special with beautiful views. We loved watching the water and spotted dolphins on one of the days. We are already looking forward to a return visit.

Delighted you & family enjoyed the cottage, Elaine. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!
My family and I spent 7 days in Kilbaha Cottage. It was a lovely stay from start to finish. Kilbaha Cottage is quant, cozy, and comfortable. It’s setting is quaint, remote & beautiful. Ciara is very responsive & accommodating. I would recommend a stay at Kilbaha Cottage to any one!
We really enjoyed staying here in this fabulous place. The setting is beautiful - crashing waves below and a gorgeous view to the sea. The house is wonderful, large with many amenities. It was great to be met by the host's mother to show us around the house. The owners are very responsive to any inquiries. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the Ireland.
Is an amazing location. Beautiful property. Lovely home. Fell in love with the area after staying in the hustle and bustle of Dublin. Left Kilbaha Cottage with a heavy heart. Wanted to stay forever.
A wonderful cottage, clean, maintained and beautifully decorated. But even more than that, the location is prime. Perched on the rocks above the sea, you could spend days simply enjoying the views. The hosts were great. Easy to communicate with. You really couldn’t ask for more for a holiday cottage.

Great place with wonderful views & feel of the power of the ocean. Will remember it fondly for many years. Provided by a wonderful person, Ciara. Thank you for sharing this cottage with us.
Our first time to Ireland, and I was very happy with my choice to rent this lovely cottage by the sea. The views from the cottage are truly breathtaking and the cottage is so cozy. Loved sitting by the wood stove at night after a long day of sight seeing. County Clare is beautiful and peaceful. Ciara was a wonderful hostess. If you are looking to see the beautiful country side of Ireland, this is the place to go.

Kilbaha Cottage holds many wonderful memories for me and my family and is a perfect place to relax and kick back.
Why they chose this property
I spent my childhood summers in this house and have wonderful memories of running to see the dolphins just off the rocks and collecting shells in the many rock pools on the shore. There are sailing courses for children in Kilrush which I enjoyed and of course the many picnics on the nearby beaches. It's a very special house for adults and children alike.
What makes this property unique
Although the house is a holiday home it has everything you might need for your stay. The stunning view and rock pools draw you outside while the sauna is relaxing after a dip in the cove.
