Very nice house in the green

Very quiet property. The house was as good as new and very clean. It has lovely interieurs. The kitchen ist perfect equipped. Very smart colours in the house. And very friendly host. Thank you.

The property was accurately described, clean. and comfortable. The outside table and chairs gave extra space to allow us to enjoy the late evenings in the fresh air. We didn’t use the grill provided because it was charcoal grill and we didn’t have time to cook dinner on it after long days sightseeing. You need to bring your own bathroom hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper ( depending on your length of stay, the first few rolls are provided). We asked for trash bags but didn’t get any. Also, the owner is very nice but her English is minimal. We (four adults) were comfortable and you will enjoy the cute country house too :)

Isabelle the host, in view of the fact I can't speak French and her English is not wonderful we communicated quite well.The gite is in a very rural area with no local village so you must drive a few kilometres to do any shopping. If you want peace and quiet it is perfectly idyllic.I would happily visit again. I must also say that I found the French people enormously friendly in spite of previously held opinions. Vice La France!!

Modernes und helles Haus in traditionellem Stil

Mit unserem Aufenthalt waren wir alles in allem sehr zufrieden.Für uns besondere Highlights:- Interessante Innenarchitektur- Viele Fenster und somit schön hell- Moderne und vollständige Einrichtung- 2 Toiletten/Duschen- Großer Garten- Super schnelles InternetWas man wissen sollte:Für Bettwäsche und Handtücher vielen bei uns für eine Woche pro Person zusätzlich 15 in Bar an. Das wurde uns erst kurz vor anreise als Nachricht mitgeteilt.

Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel

Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt. Es ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider mussten wir überraschend früher abreisen, was uns sehr leid tat, aber absolut nichts mit dem Haus zu tun hatte. Also, jederzeit gerne wieder.

Sejour typique dans la campagne normande

La chaumière est au calme, elle est propre et bien entretenue a l'interieur comme a l'exterieur. Le cliché de la Normandie avec un interieur moderne. Ideale pour un sejour en famille. Situé idéalement du Havre, Fécamp, Etretat... Nous y avons passé un très bon sejour. Isabelle, notre hôte est a l'écoute et s'est adapté à nos demandes.

Entspannung pur!

Sehr schönes, altes Häuschen mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin kümmert sich vorbildlich und hilft mit Tips zu regionalen Märkten und Ausflugszielen, was besonders für unerfahrene Normandie-Besucher wertvoll ist. Selbst für uns "alte Hasen" waren tolle Sachen dabei. Unbedingte Empfehlung für Menschen, die Ruhe suchen, ohne komplett von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten zu sein.

Point de départ idéal pour visiter Etretat et sa region. Intérieur très agréable et confortable. Chaumière nichée dans un écrin de verdure entouré de pommiers avec pour voisins deux moutons et des vaches.

Nous avons passé d’agréables vacances en Normandie. L’emplacement du gite est calme, l’accueil a été chaleureux. Les différents sites de la région sont accessibles facilement. Petit bémol le bourg ne possède aucun commerce et l’électricité n’est pas comprise dans le tarif de la location.

Schnuckeliges kleines Häudchen im Grünen

Das kleine Häuschen liegt sehr idyllisch zwischen Bäumen, Kühen und Blumen. Es ist sehr ruhig und entspannend. Schöner eigener Garten zum Sonnen und Relaxen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist sehr zweckmäßig und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.

Gite très bien aménagé où l’on peut apprécier le calme de la campagne. Idéal pour un week-end en famille ou entre amis avec la côte normande à proximité . Seul bémol , la literie que nous avons trouvé trop ferme .

Très beau gîte

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à la Chaumette. Le gîte est très bien aménagé et propre. Nous avons bien profité de nos soirées au coin du poêle à bois. Le seul petit bémol, le couchage est un peu trop ferme à notre goût.

Zeer mooi en net huisje, alles wat je nodig hebt is voorzien.

Het huisje is nog mooier dan op de foto's. Het heeft alle voorzieningen en is netjes onderhouden. Wij waren met 4 personen en dat was perfect. Het is voorzien voor 6 personen, maar dat wordt krap, zeker in de winter met slecht weer als iedereen binnen moet blijven. Verder heel tevreden en een aanrader voor iedereen. Let wel, de matrassen zijn heel hard om op te slapen.

Charming little house in beautiful surroundings

Pretty little house with spacious living room/kitchen, a nice garden and beautiful, calm surroundings (very charming cows as neighbours). Check-in very easy and friendly. A real dining table would have been nice but the chairs at the kitchen counter were fine as well and eating at the table in the garden was nicer anyways, so not really an issue. Recommended!
