On lake como with. lake view 50 m from the beach, near lecco varenna bellagio perfect position to visit the most famous places of the lake and the cities of Lombardy and Switzerland, with a beautiful large and private garden, from here you can easily reach any location with the minimal effort. Very large dining room allows you to eat all together connected with the outside by a large sliding door.
The beaches of the lake are 50 meters away, so there is no swimming pool because the thrill of a nice swim in the middle of the mountains is something to try and it is unforgettable.

Wonderful home, great location

The property was beautiful and clean and exactly as described. It was the perfect property for our group. The location was wonderful and a short walk to cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

A great base for exploring Lake Como

This is a very comfortable and well designed house, and we had a very enjoyable stay here. The garden is great and the house spacious. The location is also excellent, within a short walk of the lake and boat trips, plus some very good restaurants and a well stocked local shop. The owner was also very helpful when needed. The only down side was that the broadband wasn't working.

The house was fantastic. 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms allowed everyone to have their own space. It had everything you might need to enjoy your stay. The area is not a tourist trap, it is more local and quieter with access to Lake Como. I would recommend staying in closer contact with the owner than I did. Finding the house was a challenge. Overall a great find.

Hard to find jewel

Oh my, what a challenge to find ... fortunately, we arrived during daylight... cannot imagine finding at night. Kind neighbor who spoke a little English helped us with property mgr that spoke no English Very modern fun stay , no issues once we got bearings.

Misrepresentation

This is a nice house but if you’re going to Lake Como during summer then this is not where you want to stay especially if having A/C is a must have in your search. The main house is comprised of 3 stories + a separate bedroom not attached to the main house. First floor has a wall A/C unit, second floor also has wall A/C unit but not the third floor nor separate room not attached to the house. Unfortunately, when it’s hot outside it is very hot in the 3rd floor therefore the 2nd floor A/C wall unit is overcapacity so you can barely sleep in 2nd floor much less 3rd floor (oven). Forget about using the separate room that is not attached to the house. My entire family had to sleep on first floor because of this. Beware of host because he will tell you to wait a few days until weather cools down and to open the windows or will bring a portable A/C. He knows A/C during the summer is not efficient but unwilling to make any concessions.

Sehr schönes, architektonisch ansprechendes Haus etwas oberhalb vom See, den man in 10 min zu Fuss erreicht. Abbadia Lariana ist sehr schön basic, wenig touristisch. Uns hat das sehr gut gefallen. Wer mehr möchte ist in 15 min mit dem Auto in Varenna oder in knapp 1 h mit dem Schiff in Bellagio - da gibts dann die Touristenmassen die sich durch die Gassen schieben.

In der Anzeige stand check out um 11, dann sollten wir schon um 9:00 raus sein. Weg zum Strand ca. 400m.Ruhige Lage, schönes Biohaus. Im Obergeschoss kein AC, also im Sommer nicht zu benutzen. Garten könnte etwas Pflege gebrauchen.

Schönes Objekt mit kleinen Schwächen

Das Objekt ist sehr schön gelegen und in gutem Zustand. Die Lage, Strandnähe, Parkmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut, allerdings ließ der Zustand etwas zu wünschen übrig. Der Außenbereich war sehr ungepflegt, Rasen extrem hoch, wuchernde Hecken etc. Wir sind mit Sicherheit nicht pingelig, aber die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern war unterdurchschnittlich. Der vorhandene Grill konnte nicht genutzt werden. Die Klimaanlage im Erdgeschoss funktioniert einwandfrei, die Klimaanlage im 1. OG (Korridor) ist nahezu nutzlos, die anliegenden Räume werden nur mäßig gekühlt. Das 2. OG konnte gar nicht genutzt werden, dort war es schlichtweg zu heiß und eine Klimaanlage ist dort nicht vorhanden. Wir hatten zudem kleine Probleme mit eindringendem Wasser bei Starkregen an mehreren Stellen im Haus.

Huis voldoet niet aan de verwachtingen

Het huis voldoet niet aan de omschrijving en staat niet in verhouding met wat je ervoor betaald. Alleen in de woonkamer en boven op de overloop een airco. Geen ligbedden in het hoge gras, een jacuzzi waar beestjes in krioelen, de buitenkant van het huis is mooi, maar van binnen oude zooi, alles plakt. Huur dit huis nooit en al helemaal geen huis gis VRBO!!!!

Fijn verblijf

Alles prima verzorgd. Fijn huis. Veel huishoudelijke artikelen zoals tabletten voor de vaatwasser, allerlei zeepsoorten, shampo’s, toiletpapier enz, mooie tuin. Minpuntje: niet op elke slaapkamer airco, bovenverdieping 1 centrale airco en zolder helemaal GEEN. Werd op vraag opgelost met ventilator. In de advertentie wordt gesproken over: airco aanwezig. Dan verwacht je dat wel in tenminste in alle slaapkamers. Ook moesten we zelf vragen om een tuinman om het gras te maaien (stond halve meter hoog) en de heggen te snoeien. Een auto heeft schade opgelopen vanwege het krassen van de puntige planten waar je langs reed om te parkeren. Verder goed verblijf.

Bellissima casa tutto perfetto

Siamo tornati per la seconda volta quest' anno e siamo contenti di averlo fatto. La casa l' abbiamo trovata pulita curata e con anche delle migliorie . Nuove lenzuola materassi set da cucina per il pattume e il tavolo da ping pong rimesso a nuovo. Check in facile comodo e veloce e Marcello e il suo staff sempre a disposizione. Oltre ad essere belle grande e con tanti spazi vivibili e' situata in una posizione ottimale per fare qualsiasi cosa. Da casa si prende il sentiero del viandante e volendo si arriva facilmente a piedi a Mandello o alle cascate vicine. Tutto e' a portata di mano. Noi torneremo anche il prossimo anno!

Tout est parfait. La maison est très agréable bien équipée. La vue sur le Lac de Côme est incroyable. L emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les alentours. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire qui n hésite pas à envoyer des vidéos pour tout expliquer. Nous y reviendrons donc avec grand plaisir.

Schönes Haus, schlecht gereinigt

+Gute Lage, schönes Haus, netter Kontakt vor der Anreise -Insgesamt schlecht gereinigt, Inventar teilweise defekt( z.B. Tischtennis), Küche sehr schmutzig, Gefrierschrank schimmelt, Toiletten teilweise defekt Der Empfang bei Ankunft hat super funktioniert. Die Hausverwalterin war freundlich. Im Nachhinein wäre allerdings eine etwas genauere Erklärung von Vorteil gewesen. Wir hatten drei mal keinen Strom mehr im Haus. Mussten dann immer die Hauptsicherung wieder anschalten. Diese befindet sich außerhalb der Grundstücks. Dies wäre z.B. ein Punkt, den man erwähnen könnte, da dies ja offensichtlich öfter vorkommt. Denn in einem fremden Haus, plötzlich im Dunkeln stehen ist erstmal nicht so toll. Außerdem wäre z.B. eine kurze Erklärung der Kaffeemaschine toll gewesen. Dann war es leider so, dass die Küche sehr schmutzig war. Es war nur sehr sehr oberflächlich geputzt. In den Schubladen (Besteck) waren Brösel und Haare, Am Fensterrolle war alles total fettig. Im Kühlschrank lagen auch noch Brösel und das Gefrierfach war richtig schimmlig. Hier wäre eine komplette Grundreinigung dringend notwendig. Bei den Bädern ist es ähnlich. Das untere Zimmer war bei uns gar nicht gereinigt. Die oberen waren auf den ersten Blick sauber. Allerdings dürfte auch hier etwas gründlicher gearbeitet werden. Den Garten könnte man ebenfalls besser pflegen. Der Whirlpool der im Garten steht, ist sehr dreckig. Im Restwasser welches sich im Pool befindet brüten Stechmücken. Diese waren abends eine absolute Plage. Die Tischtennisplatte ist sehr gefährlich. Sie ist eigentlich nicht mehr zu benutzen. Die Gartenmöbel haben die beste Zeit ebenfalls hinter sich. Zwischendurch hatten wir 2 kleine Skorpione zu Besuch. Hier kann keiner etwas dafür, bringt aber Leben in die Bude :) Auch sehr unterhaltsam ist die Anordnung/Schaltung der Lichtschalter. Alles in Allem ein wirklich schönes Haus mit guter Lage welches aber sehr dringend eine komplette Grundreinigung und teilweise Sanierung benötigt. Und ja, man hätte die fehlende Sauberkeit sicherlich direkt am Anfang melden können und die Putzkraft nochmals kommen lassen können. Allerdings erwarte ich einfach ein sauberes Haus bei Ankunft. Abgesehen davon, hätte es auch sehr lange gedauert bis das gereinigt gewesen wäre. Darauf hat man im Urlaub dann auch keine Lust.

Schönes großes Haus/Grundstück mit Abstrichen

Das Haus und Grundstück sind im Grunde sehr schön und man hat einen tollen Seeblick. Zum Ufer mit Kiesstrand läuft man in wenigen Minuten hinunter. Allerdings ist alles schon etwas abgewohnt und der Garten könnte etwas mehr Pflege vertragen. Die Bilder auf der Seite vermitteln einen deutlich besseren Eindruck, als es sich in der Realität darstellt. Der Küchenbereich ist schon etwas siffig, die Klobrillen waren teilweise defekt und nicht mehr richtig befestigt und die Dusche im ersten Stock ist erstmal nicht richtig abgeflossen, nach Benutzung stand zunächst knöcheltief das Wasser darin. Als ich dann den Siphon frei gemacht hatte, lief es ordentlich ab. Die Betten waren sauber und frisch bezogen, es gab ausreichend frische Handtücher, die Hausverwalterin war sehr nett und der Kontakt mit ihr hat gut funktioniert. Schön ist, dass es im EG und OG jeweils eine funktionale Klimaanlage gibt, da sich das Haus bei Sonne schnell deutlich erwärmt. Die Bäder waren gut geputzt, es gab aber auch Bereiche des Hauses die teils nur oberflächlich und auf die Schnelle gereinigt waren, vielleicht sind wir da auch zu verwöhnt. Zu kritisieren gilt, dass in der Beschreibung einiges angegeben ist, was sich nicht wirklich verwenden ließ. So waren von den vier Gartenstühlen/-liegen zwei defekt, der Whirlpool war total verdreckt, der Grill im Garten war voll Asche und Papierresten, die Fahrräder sind zwei verrostete Kinderräder mit platten Reifen und die Tischtennisplatte lässt sich nur mit Verletzungsgefahr aufbauen. Die Gartenmöbel haben auch schon ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Der Stauraum für seine eigenen Dinge ist begrenzt, da überall Sachen von der Vermieterfamilie im Haus und dadurch viele Schränke belegt oder verschlossen sind. Besser in der Objekt-Beschreibung einiges weglassen oder genauer darauf hinweisen, dann erwartet man nicht soviel oder das entsprechend. Wir haben uns trotzdem damit arrangiert bzw. gut eingelebt und der Aufenthalt war dann auch ganz schön. Leider gab es zum Zeitpunkt als wir dort waren ziemlich viele Stechmücken rund ums Haus und wir konnten uns nur gut eingesprüht und mit Duftkerzen im Garten aufhalten. Preis-Leistung stimmten nach unserem Empfinden nicht ganz. Klar ist das Haus individuell gebaut und bietet viel Platz, mit mehreren Personen kommt man von den spezifischen Kosten pro Kopf dann auch runter, allerdings gehört in das Haus und die Ausstattung mal einiges reinvestiert um den aufgerufenen Mietpreis zu rechtfertigen.

Lovely Stay at Lake Como

We enjoyer our stay in this beautiful house. Check-in and check-out was super easy and we could always contact the host in case we had problems. Bear in mind that the house is around 500 m from the lake and not 50 m as mentioned in the description.

Bellissima villa ottima location!

La villa e' stupenda moderna, pulita e rispecchia appieno le foto profilo. Si vede che e' una casa amata e tenuta bene. Comunicazione fluida e puntuale sia con Marcello il proprietario che con la signora Angela che si occupa della gestione in modo eccelso. Questa casa ha tutto ed e' l' ideale se si e' piu persone, perché permette con 4 bagni , 3 piani e 1 depandance di mantenere le proprie comodità e privacy . Ci sono diverse tv, strumenti musicali , una bella stufa , a/c e gli spazi sono fatti in modo da poter sfruttare questo posto in tutte le stagioni. Il giardino e' ben tenuto, c' è anche un trampolino , un cesto x la pallacanestro, una casa sull' albero e un tavolo da ping ping per far giocare i piccoli e i meno piccoli, ma anche una comoda amaca e lettini prendisole per chi cerca solo riposo. C' è anche un bel tavolo grande per pranzare all' aperto con 1 preziosa tenda parasole da usare all' occorrenza. La casa oltre che moderna e di carattere e' stata pensata per essere anche molto pratica, tanti gli spazi a disposizione per mettere le proprie cose, un soggiorno grande con un bel tavolo in legno lungo per pranzare in tanti, una cucina moderna e spaziosa con vista sul giardino dotata di tutto, anche la lavastoviglie, non manca proprio nulla. Durante il nostro soggiorno ha piovuto quasi tutte le sere ed anche tanto, ma non abbiamo avuto nessun tipo di problema con infiltrazioni o umidità come letto in 1 precedente recensione. Tutto e' ben congeniato e ci si sente subito a casa tanto accogliente e' tutto l' ambiente. La posizione e' ottima a piedi si raggiunge qualsiasi negozio o ristorante del paese. Il lago e' a meno di 5 minuti a piedi e la spiaggia e' molto carina, c'è anche un grazioso bar sulla spiaggia dove bere un aperitivo o mangiare una pizza godendosi la vista di questo lago meraviglioso e accanto si possono affittare lettini ombrelloni e noleggiare paddle, canoe e pedalò. A 5 minuti di auto c'è Mandello del Lario o a 10 Lecco. Da Mandello si può prendere la barca per spostarsi sul lago e visitare gli altri paesini ed in alcuni di essi come Varenna ci si può imbarcare anche con la proria auto e raggiungere per esempio Bellagio. Un ringraziamento speciale alla signora Angela che ci ha accolto in maniera calorosa e coccolato per tutta la vacanza, sempre a disposizione e raggiungibile. Speriamo di poter tornare, ne vale veramente la pena!

Viele unterschiedliche Aspekte stimmen nicht: Angaben Entfernung zum Strand (500 m!), ein abgebildetes Zimmer wird einfach nicht aufgeschlossen. Die Sauberkeit ist miserabel. Nie wieder!!!

jolie maison bien située mais des choses à redire ++

Communication fluide ++ avec le propriétaire avant le séjour qui est très agréable. La maison est grande, l'architecture et le cadre avec vue sur le lac superbes. Le calme absolu dans le quartier est très appréciable. La localisation pas trop touristique permet de visiter sans problèmes en voiture, à pied ou en bateau, c'est top! Cependant il y a des choses à redire: - le prix est un peu cher pour la prestation réelle. - Nous devions prendre possession de la maison à 16h mais la personne qui gère sur place (qui est au passage très agréable) et qui fait le ménage avait pris du retard, nous avons du attendre sur place 17h30/18h avant de pouvoir y accéder. - Le maison n'est pas bien propre. La cuisine, le sol et les sanitaires ça va mais pour le reste il ne faut pas être trop regardant: vitres très sales (pas faites depuis une éternité semble t'il!), des toiles d'araignées un peu partout dans les coins et sous les meubles. Il faut dire qu'il n'y a qu'un aspirateur "colonne", impossible de faire les coins, pas de tube pour aspirer correctement, adapté donc au ménage quotidien mais pas de fond! - Il est dit que le linge de maison est fourni mais aucun torchon de vaisselle (heureusement que j'avais prévu!). - Le jacuzzi mis dans l'annonce aurait été apprécié mais hors service (lié au covid????). - Le jardin est sympa mais impossible de manger dehors ou même d'y rester tellement il y a de moustiques, nous nous sommes fait littéralement dévorés tout le séjour! Nous avons croisé aussi quelques petits scorpions, habituels semble t'il pour la région mais un peu flippant quand même! - Le pire est l'isolation phonique, seule une chambre est calme (celle qui a un lit double et 1 lit superposé); les 3 autres sont les unes au dessus des autres avec toute un plancher, on entend absolument tout de qui se dit et se passe dans les chambres des autres....et dés qu'une personne marche, le plancher craque de tous les côtés.... l'horreur! - Enfin, l'eau rentre à plein d'endroit dans la maison: la chambre sous les toits fuit à plusieurs endroits, on a été obligé de mettre des sceaux; le velux dans escalier de l'étage fuit aussi; dans la grande chambre du milieu de la maison le dessous des fenêtres est humide car l'eau passe et mouille le mur et la grande bais vitrée en bas c'est la même chose.... je déconseille donc fortement cette maison en hiver. Nous avons eu une semaine d'été un peu pluvieuse et la maison était très humide du coup.... Séjour mitigé du coup...

Maison spacieuse et chaleureuse aux bords du lac

La maison ou villa est très bien aménagée et permet d'accueillir confortablement une grande famille ou plusieurs couples avec enfants. Chaque chambre dispose de sa propre salle de bain, de son autonomie vis à vis des autres. Les espaces partagés sont très spacieux (cuisine, salon, terrasse). Le lac est à 5mn à 10mn à pied. Localité rapidement accessible depuis LECCO. Ensuite, il est possible de rejoindre rapidement Varenna en train. Ou alors, la navette fluviale permet de rejoindre Bellagio ou Menaggio via une belle ballade sur le lac. En revanche, j'ai noté quelques bémols : Malgré un accueil très chaleureux, tous les contacts avec le prioritaires se font à distance… Côté entretien et propreté : pelouse non tendue, quelques poubelles de salle de bain non vidées, tubes de gel douche vides laissés tels quels, toile d'araignée dans une des chambres... Nous avons également du faire face à une absence d'eau chaude durant notre séjour, mais avec une intervention rapide et efficace (après contact auprès du propriétaire qui a délégué l'intervention auprès de personnes présentes sur place). En résumé, cette maison ou villa est un très bon pied à terre pour profiter du lac… il reste à parfaire les quelques bémols cités ci-avant.
