Seasonal. Beautiful 4 bedroom gulf front home with screened gulf front lanai off great room with steps right down onto the beach. Another open gulf front balcony off master bedroom. Due to damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the community pool, tennis courts and docks will not be available during 2025. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $380, or $38 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit. PLEASE RESPECT THAT THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED Due to damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the community pool, tennis courts and docks will not be available during 2025.

Eagles Landing is in a great location and is a very spacious house. It is directly on the beach and there were sand toys for the kids to play with. Overall the house was pretty clean however, given my daughter’s allergies I’m pretty sure there have been dogs previously in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with certain items, but lacked cleanliness. Many plates and dishes were dirty as we pulled them from the cupboard and the children’s plastic plates are quite dated and questionable if you would want to eat on them. The pictures in the listing show that there is a bunkbed in the one room, note that there is no bunkbed which my kids were bummed about. Overall a great place right on the beach, lots of sleeping space, just expect that some items in the house will be outdated.
We had a great time at Eagle's Landing. Only steps to the beach. Very quiet and hardly anyone on the beach. Fantastic view from screened porch. Great kitchen and well stocked. Have plenty of $1 for tips for ferry and cart rides to Rum Bay. Took the boat to Leverock's and liked it better than Rum Bay. Take bug spray for beach and dock. Management was very quick to respond to minor household requests. We definitely want to go back!
We had a wonderful time at Eagle’s Landing. The proximity to the beach, the great accommodations, and great views from almost every room made for a week to remember. The house was supplied well and very cozy. We will be back to our favorite getaway.
This property is a great value and location! Our family enjoyed easy access to the island with a lot of confidence that we could come and go easily yet because of the need to ferry across it was very quiet. The beach was very quiet and not at all crowded. We found plenty to do on the island. Renting a golf cart was a great bonus. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only negative was that the beach chairs and linens were a little tired.
It was truly an amazing place. The island is very neat and safe. The house could have been a little cleaner when we arrived. The appliances were out of date and not would I would expect for the money. Otherwise, it was excellent. A really neat place. We will return!!
Property management people were very responsive. We had a few issues that they handled very effectively!

Needs help
House location was excellent, very friendly place but the house itself needed some help, it was not well kept, there was garbage around. Bathrooms were moldy, and one of the toilets broke and continue giving trouble all week, dust around the bedrooms and the living room, sofa was a bit dirty and covers that were placed to cover it also needed a wash. The refrigerator did not work well, ice maker was broken and there were droppings in the kitchen cabinets. Also items from previous tenants were left in the bathroom and kitchen. The property manager was very helpful and came right away when confronted with any issue. If the house will be cleaner and refresh furniture including beds I will go back.
The house is in a great setting , right on a very quiet beach. The pool and tennis court are only two houses away. We found the house to have all the features we wanted- four bedrooms, a porch with a great view of the ocean, plenty of beach chairs and toys for children, and a decently equipped kitchen. Now for things that could be improved- Better attention to basic maintenance needs would have made this a perfect spot. One of the sinks upstairs barely drained, an outside faucet to rinse feet needs to be replaced, a kitchen cabinet door fell off when first used, and the dishwasher moaned loudly when used. The counter and cutting board were not at all clean and pressure washing parts of the exterior would have improved it appearance. None of these things would be big ticket items. My wife or I fixed most of the problems that we encountered, but we didn't plan to do maintenance while vacationing. It may sound like we didn't like the house, but that's wrong. We loved it warts and all- but it could be a real showcase with a little more effort.
