Private, second-floor master suite with ocean view deck and skylight in bath. Two spacious bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor. Large front porch and a furnished screened porch to watch sunsets. Brand new rails on deck. Brand new steps with rails leading to the entryway. Protected under-house parking. Large enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, ceiling fans, wood floors in living areas and bedrooms. Highchair, port-a-crib, games, and books.

Blue Dolphin Needs TLC

We chose this place for the excellent location and convenient access to the beach. As for the house - it is in need of a thorough cleaning, minor repairs and updates (1 star). Delores (host) was very responsive in dealing with all of our daily concerns. We had a nice time at the beach, Oak Island and Southport. The Blue Dolphin has plenty of potential, but we probably won’t be back until the inside challenges are addressed.

Great experience

This was my first time renting a place on a app. And also my first time taking my son to the beach. Delores was excellent by messaging me making sure the everything was good. I would definitely rent this place again.

Absolutely fantastic

Our stay was wonderful. The house was super comfortable and cool. It was perfect for our family of 6 (4 children) and still had extra room. Perfect location to walk to the beach. We will absolutely be staying here again. This has been our favorite spot out of all the years we’ve been coming.

Great Stay

My husband loves to fish and I love to play pickleball. I enjoy playing guitar, ukelele and hunting shells. We both enjoy morning and sunset walks on the beach. Our two adult sons and daughter-in-law love walking the beach, fishing, gaming, streaming TV and of course youtube. The Wifi here is excellent.

We chose this property because of its location to the beach and because of the upstairs private bedroom and bath. We love having our own space when entertaining guests at the house and being just a short walk to the beach!

What makes this property unique

This property sits right between the ocean and the Inland Waterway. You can see both bodies of water from the house and it is a very short walk to either one.
