Large, covered front porch, large back deck overlooking creek and marsh, and ground level covered sitting area with swing and creek view! Enjoy fishing, crabbing, or kayaking directly from the property. Great location just a short walk to the beach! Recent renovations including new flooring, Living room furnishings, 5G WIFI, 3 TV's including 4K resolution 55" Smart TV. Master bedroom with walk-in closet and bath. Beautiful marsh views from both guest bedrooms. Open living, dining and kitchen, Central Heat & Air, Washer/Dryer, fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, dishwasher, microwave, enclosed outside hot/cold shower, beach chairs, beach cart, surf fishing rods, crab trap, 2 kayaks, boogie and skim boards, charcoal grill, and more. Only .14 miles to beach and less than 1/2 mile to pier and Island Way restaurant. Linen fees for 3 BR's of $76 and $15 for Q sleeper are NOT included but can be arranged. No Smoking. Pet friendly. Check-In: 4:00PM, Check-Out: 10:00AM. Weekly rentals during peak season are Saturday to Saturday. Monthly rates are available November through February.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was within walking distance to the beach. We were able to fish of the pier on the back. The house had everythIng we needed. Would like to have more lighting underneath. Overal it was perfect. We will definitely stay again.

This pet friendly property was great for our family. We loved the location being that it was within walking distance to the pier and beach and a short driving distance to restaurants. We loved the backyard overlooking the marsh. The only suggestion I would offer would be to replace the key lock with a keypad/code entry. This would allow guests to drive directly to the property. We also had a hard time figuring out how to get the key to unlock the door which was probably due to salt air, over time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is comfortable, welcoming, and well stocked. The location was great with amazing views from all of the rooms. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking right off the back of the property. The house was just a short walk to a beautiful section of the beach. Being able to bring our dog was an added bonus.

Pros: Dog Friendly including bowls. The house was spacious and roomy and the location was excellent. It was an easy 8 or so minute walk to a beach access and easily less than a 3 minute walk to the scenic walk over. The view from the back deck overlooking the marsh was nice, and we especially enjoyed spending time on the covered front porch.The outdoor shower was roomy, and the space underneath the house was nice, especially the swing.The house isn't new, but is in good shape, we didn't notice any major issues. Cons: The house in general could use a good deep cleaning, but I am sure that's hard during peak season. Also, whoever was in charge of cleaning before our arrival seemed to have been rushed. There was a pile of fluffy dog hair piled behind one of the bedroom doors, tiny black dog hairs on the mattess covers, and dog hair in the carpet. Again, in a pet friendly rental, I am sure that's hard to avoid. One other issue was either there were several light bulbs out, not working, or we just never figured out the right switches. A suggestion to lable the light switches would be helpful for future renters.Overall we enjoyed our stay at Aloha, our "cons" are just minor inconveniences. John was easy to work with and quick to reply to questions. I would definitely rent again and recommend to others. And easy 4/5

Aloha Oasis

Aloha was just as advertised and some comforting. The location was great and the views from the back deck priceless. We enjoyed all the amenities that were offered. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Off Season Retreat

Aloha had all the amenities of home. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. Additionally, the proximity to Southport and other Strand beaches allowed us to explore the coast.

Excellent location. All required amenities were available in the house and the decks were great for watching the sunrise. Was a little surprised there was no paper towels, trash bags, or even an extra roll of TP available so make sure you bring your own. Overall a great place to stay!

Barbara, Thank you for your review. Yes, unfortunately guests need to bring essentials including toilet paper and paper towels. We periodically stock the unit, but we don't have a weekly service to replenish these items. There should be hand-soap and dishwasher liquid, but we suggest guests bring a dish towel, a dish cloth, a dishwasher pod, a clothes washer pod, tp, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, and a few trash bags.

Perfect place to stay on Oak Island!

Overlooking the intercoastal waterway, only 2 blocks from the beach! The neighborhood was quiet and dog friendly. Coffee table big enough for our puzzles. Porches to watch sunrises and sunsets. Who could ask for anything more?

Awesome!!!!!

My wife and I could not be happier with the location of this house. Literally a five minute walk to the beach and the marsh view was simply stunning! Probably our most favorite Vrbo stay to date. We absolutely want to come back to this charming house!
