Waterfront- Bring your Kayaks & Fishing Poles!

Quaint Cottage on the Davis Canal, on the quiet western end of Oak Island, 1 block from the beach. Gorgeous views of the marsh and canal! 2 BRs / 2 Baths (both with showers, no tubs) Full Kitchen with dishwasher and cookware. Wifi and Smart TV (no cable service, but you can login to your streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc)

Great dock with built-in seating - fish, crab, launch your kayak, or admire the sunrises and sunsets. Note: floating dock during low tide sits on the bottom - which is more suitable for kayaks. Public boat ramp and the new Lonerider restaurant are one block away!

*** ABSOLUTELY NO PETS or SMOKING— we have a daughter with severe allergies.***

**Rental Deposit and Rental Damage Insurance required for all rentals. Vacation insurance is highly recommended.

**Guests supply their own linens, towels, etc—or can rent linens on their own. *_*}~ kAll living spaces are on the second floor.

** Our calendar is always up to date- so make your request directly through VRBO.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Place one key on the hook in the entryway, lock all 3 doors, and then place the other key in the lockbox.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Linens, towels, paper products not provided
No RVs to be used as extra guest accommodation.

Wonderful Spot on OKI

This home was perfect for a short vacation for our family. We loved the quick walk to the beach and having a decent restaurant right up the street. It was peaceful and the sunsets off the dock were magical every night! We will definitely book again.

Perfect piece of paradise

Have been staying here for years. Would never find a place more perfect for my small family. It has everything we could ever need! Host is by far the best out there and has done everything to make it the perfect getaway.

Perfect home away from home

This is our second time staying at this property. It was just as perfect the second time. House was clean, plenty of room for a family of 5. The boys loved walking out the backyard and fishing off the dock in the backwaters. We also love bird viewing and even spotted a bald eagle across the bay. The owner is very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Staying here was PERFECT! The best location you could ask for when you have a surfer AND a fisherman in the family!! You have everything you need in this home. This is our second stay and definitely not our last!!

Intracoastal waterway views and a short walk to the beach.

Quiet location on the West end of Oak Island located about 1 mile from the point (or end) of the island. Located directly on the intracoastal waterway, it is also a very short walk to the beach. We like the view from this house better than an oceanfront view.

Beautiful View!

House is nice, views are beautiful, and the new dock is great! Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend The Fish House for seafood - and it's within walking distance! Angela is really sweet and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Excellent property for fishing and beach time!

We had a wonderful time on a spring break! This was the perfect place for boys who love to fish. We were able to walk out the back door and fish off the back dock. We also had a very easy walk to the beach. The fishing pier is a short drive and we spent a few days enjoying that. Overall, excellent house! Very spacious and clean. Also a quiet neighborhood.

July 4th 2023 Week

Very clean and extremely peaceful here. Much better than even Holden, and Holden is great…and 10 times better than the SC beaches in our opinion. Easy access to beach which wasn’t crowded even with it being the 4th week. Also, fireworks were everywhere and extremely entertaining watching from deck.

Beautiful views

Absolutely beautiful little place for a small family. Quiet area with little to almost no traffic. Walking to distance to the beach is just around the corner. Beautiful views sunset/sunrise from the dock. Crabbing was great and fishing wasn't so bad. Dont forget to go for a Beautiful bike ride. Big thanks to Angela for letting us experience a great vacation, she was easy to communicate with. Would be going back!

Treasured memories

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. My husband and daughter spent every afternoon and evening on the dock fishing. The house is in the perfect location a short walk to the beach and the intercostal waterway in your backyard. The cottage itself is charming. We made wonderful memories on our trip and look forward to staying again! Thank you Angela for being such a wonderful host!

Simply perfection in ALL the ways. Ideal location for rest and relaxation - beach living at its finest! The owners are the best we have ever dealt with, seriously THE BEST! Your stay and vacation is truly their top priority. I sincerely don't think we will stay elsewhere. Quick getaway

This property was exactly as described. I love the layout of the house, it was clean, and the view from the back deck was beautiful. Access to the beach was like a 2 minute walk. Anytime I reached out to Angela, she immediately responded. I've never been to Oak Island. I loved it and will definitely be back.

Better than advertised!

This was our first time vacationing at a North Carolina beach, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The home was bright, spacious and well-equipped. The neighborhood was very quiet and the view from the large back deck was spectacular. The beach was uncrowded and access was only a short 1/2 block from the cottage. Angela - the owner - was very responsive and friendly. There is one restaurant on the bay which is a 3 minute walk from the cottage; otherwise it’s an easy 3 to 6 mile drive to other shops and restaurants.

Fabulous Vintage Cottage!!!

The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Yes, it’s an older house (one off the first on the island) but it has been very well maintained and is perfect for a small group. We loved the well stocked kitchen as well as all other furnishings and decorative touches. You simply can’t beat the location. The best of both worlds.. waterway out the back door and the beach a block the other direction. We even caught dinner (shrimp, crab, croaker, and black drum) off the dock! The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Will definitely stay again… maybe next time for a few weeks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful rental & perfect weather!

Rental is located in great location with easy walking access to beach and beautiful waterfront views on the ICW. Very clean and cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The only negative was the mattresses on both queen beds need to be replaced. Our son & DIL both agreed their mattress was not comfortable nor was the one on the bed my husband and I shared. Other than that, the home was perfect! We could not have asked for more perfect weather than we had the last week of October. Beautiful weather every day!

We've now stayed at this property several times, and it is by far our favorite on Oak Island. Angela is terrific to work with. The house is always spotless. No better location having the water access and dock on the backside, and easy beach access on the front. Very quiet at night. Neighbors on both sides friendly and respectful. Can't wait to return! The location of this home is perfect! We so enjoyed the amazing sunrises and sunsets from the back porch, watching the boats pass and loved the very short walk to the beach. We cooked local seafood nightly in the well equipped kitchen. The home was clean and we had everything we needed.
