Very nice studio completely refurbished with: new Lapeyre kitchen equipped with built-in oven, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge. The studio is equipped with a 55 inch television with Netflix. It directly overlooks the beach of Orient Bay on the first line. The residence is secure 24 hours a day and there is a restaurant / bar and laundry facilities at the reception

Did not get the room I booked

Room switched at the last minute from top floor with a balcony and sea view to ground level room with electric box issues and no view. Owner not helpful at all. Terrible experience. This is for room 4108, not 4317.

Mount Vernon

Communication with the property manager was difficult before arrival; probably because the actual unit we rented and paid for was no longer available for our use on arrival. In any event another unit was offered in the same complex, and this turned out to be satisfactory overall. The biggest issue with the Mount Vernon complex is that one has to walk considerable distances from the parking area to the units, on hilly ground. As such it would not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Ce n’était pas ce studio que nous avons eu, c’est le studio voisin, mais c’était trĂšs bien, il Ă©tait nouvellement rĂ©novĂ©. Dans la cuisine, il manquait quelques Ă©lĂ©ments, mais j’ai fait une liste au locateur des articles qui seraient un plus et il a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©ceptif. L’endroit est bien situĂ© au bout de la plage la Baie d’Orient. Piscine trĂšs belle et grande, tu as le choix d’ĂȘtre au soleil ou Ă  l’ombre, belle pergola. Il y a aussi un petit market et une pizzeria sur le site.

My stay Was not how I expected it to be.

-as I entered you can smell the dust. - the place seemed to be closed up for a time because it looked just how the last person left it and not cleaned - air conditioning didn't work -no water to shower on my last day . - over all the place was nice and quiet .

Beautiful view!

The rental was clean, new and comfortable. The view from the deck was beautiful! Unfortunately it was difficult to locate and communication with the property manager was limited, but all worked out in the end. If you plan on sleeping in, be warned there is ongoing major construction starting at 730 every week day. There is much to rebuild after Irma. May also be useful to bring some basic supplies for the room as supplies were minimal but we figured it out. Overall a great stay!

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© dans cette rĂ©sidence en 2016 avant le cyclone et c'est pour cela que nous avons dĂ©cidĂ© d'y retourner mais suite au cyclone Irma la rĂ©sidence est toujours en travaux , or les photos disponibles sont d'avant le cyclone. Nous avons eu un appartement correct mais diffĂ©rent de celui de la photo lors de la rĂ©servation. Le logement 4316 possĂšde une belle vue , la propretĂ© est correcte sans ĂȘtre au top. Il manque le linge de cuisine, le mobilier est simple, un beau lit de 200 cm , une tĂ©lĂ© avec Netflix sans objet pour nous en vacances. En rĂ©sumĂ© pendant la pĂ©riode de travaux l'environnement est peu agrĂ©able, nĂ©anmoins nous sommes bien une fois dans le logement. Le prix reste assez Ă©levĂ© pour la prestation. Toutefois on s'aperçoit en discutant avec d'autres touristes que les infos fournies sur les logements et les alentours restent sujettes Ă  caution.

Perfect seaside getaway

Exactly what we wanted. An immaculate fully-equipped apartment, lovely oceanview, easy access to a spectacular beach -- at an affordable price. Please note, the destruction to this complex from Hurricane Irma in 2017 is staggering. The grounds and many units are still a mess (so sad) BUT once you retreat into the unit. . it was everything we wanted and true value for money. We had a lovely stay and will go back again next year!
