Exactly as Expected
The owners of this property have done a great job for themselves. This property is easily the #1 in its price-range for its location. Extremely clean & comfortable. The stairs are pretty steep and on the narrow side so anyone with mobility issues should consider another property, it’s definitely not wheelchair friendly. With that aside, my wife and I loved our stay and will definitely be staying there again.

Cute and well-equipped.
Attractive place, great location. In better weather I would have enjoyed the 2nd-level deck.

Long Weekend in McMinnville
We had such an amazing stay in McMinnville at our spacious, super cute and cozy “Half-Pint” Farmhouse. It was in the perfect location, and just steps to everything in downtown McMinnville. Our host, Sarita, had made some amazing recommendations for dining and wineries… they were all on point! We loved our time here and can’t wait til we return. Thank you again Sarita and Kevin for hosting us and your excellent accommodations!

We love traveling, wine tasting, spending precious time together in Oregon, and we work way too hard to restore and renovate beautiful historic homes to preserve their unique and interesting character and craftsmanship.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the farmhouse style of the home and the location, which is 1 block from downtown McMinnville's famous 3rd Street and 2 blocks from The Granary District. Our half-pint farmhouse apartment is attached to a larger farmhouse that is tucked into a neighborhood with St. James Catholic Church at the end of the Street. Our home has a Walk Score of 89, which means that it is very walkable and almost all errands can be accomplished on foot.

What makes this property unique

With a walkability score of 89, guests can easily walk to the delicious farm-to-table restaurants in downtown McMinnville, visit the numerous wine tasting rooms and breweries, and go shopping and the boutiques and antique stores on Third Street. After a day of sightseeing, you arrive at our farmhouse apartment, relax on the upstairs deck with a glass of wine, and then walk to any of the local tasting rooms, restaurants and shops without worrying about where to go or where to park.
