About this property

Bear Country Retreat: Beautiful View and Full of Amenities

Bear Country Retreat is a stunning two-bedroom cabin in Pigeon Forge, offering mountain charm, hot tub, pool table, arcade game, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and proximity to all Pigeon Forge attractions for an exciting vacation for up to eight guests.

Living Room

Bear Country Retreat will delight you from the moment you step inside with its floor-to-ceiling honeyed-oak planking, soaring cathedral ceiling, and exposed wooden beams. Sumptuous seating invites you to sit and stay awhile... in front of the flat-screen TV. An abundance of windows showcases the stunning views. Open them and let the crisp mountain airflow. Take a deep breath and relax... this is your home away from home!

The second living space is on the upper level—a flat-screen TV and plenty of seating space promise that you and your kids will never have to fight over the remote!

Kitchen

The fully-stocked kitchen flows directly from the living room in this convenient open-layout concept. Black accents are striking with the oak cabinetry, and you’ll have plenty of space to stretch out and cook. Lay out delicious buffets for your family, or pack your crockpot to simmer a yummy meal while you are out and about in the mountains. Come home to the smell of a home-cooked meal!

Dining

Dining here at Bear Country Retreat is convenient—within arm’s reach of the kitchen and anything you might’ve forgotten for the table or for refilling your drinks. You can seat up to six at the quaint table... it’s perfect for passing the dishes around for family serving!

Bedrooms

Bear Country Retreat features two luxurious main-floor bedrooms.

The spacious master suite features a comfortable king-sized bed, overhead wooden beams, and black accents. There’s even a chest at the end of the bed for additional storage! Soak your troubles away in an in-room jetted tub while you watch the flat-screen TV or read a book. (Just don’t drop it into the water!) A private en-suite bath completes your experience.

The second spacious main-level bedroom offers a king bed, flat-screen TV, and its own convenient en-suite full bath.

All bedrooms have windows to view the mountainside, hear the wildlife, and watch the starry night as you drift into dreamland.

Game Room

The spectacular entertainment area is on the second floor. Here, you’ll find a pool table (compete to be crowned family pool champion!) and a stand-up arcade that contains over fifty classic games. This area adjoins the second living room, so pop some popcorn, brew some hot chocolate, and break out the board games. There’s so much fun to be had here!

Outdoor Spaces

The wrap-around porch is the show-stopper in this beautiful retreat. With stunning views of the mountains, you can rock in a rocking chair as you sip a glass of wine and watch the sun sink over the trees. Stars never seem brighter than they do in the mountains... so gather the family and hunt for constellations. The winner can get the first pick of seats in the nearby hot tub! Soak away any muscles that might ache from hiking... and breathe in that fresh mountain air. There’s truly nothing like it!

Other Amenities

Be sure to pack sunscreen, bathing suits, and pool toys because you’ll have access to the indoor/outdoor resort swimming pools, and there’s even a putt-putt golf course on-site.

With all the luxury that Bear Country Retreat has to offer, you might not ever want to leave the cabin. But if you do, you are within minutes of any convenience that Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg has to offer, from charming local eateries to grocery shopping, to entertainment.

All linens are provided, and there are a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Bear Country Retreat offers you complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi access, and don’t forget... your family pup is welcome, too!

A Bit Shabby
The cabin was clean, but very worn and a bit shabby. We weren’t able to use the dishwasher, it was covered in black slimy residue. Main bedroom carpet had hole/tear. Lamp shades damaged, beer cans littered the back below the deck. Surface tops of furniture were all damaged. This is our 3rd visit to Bear Creek and usually all the cabins are in great condition.

Absolutely love this cabin!
This is our second stay here and we will be back again next year! We love everything about it. Only thing that could make it better would be steps for the hot tub! Otherwise- perfect!

Terrible
Got to cabin, getting ready to go to bed and noticed bed bugs in our bed. Immediately called but was told we would be contacted in the morning about it. Had to go out and pay for a hotel for the night. Did not receive call in the morning so had to give them a call, was told we would be moved to another cabin. Traveled over 10 hours to enjoy our trip and a nice view of mountains. Got switched to a dirty old cabin with a no view instead stuck on the side of a hill. Would have never booked this vacation for the place we were moved to. Terrible experience and was told if we wanted to leave completely we can be refunded our money. We had no place else to go unless we traveled 10 hours back home.
