The property is divided into 2 adjacent houses that have a total of 4 double bedrooms with 4 sofa beds (140 x 190 cm), kitchen and 4 bathrooms. There are small gardens and a terrace with a table, chairs, parasol and barbecue, and there is also a wood-burning oven. Equipped with washing machine, hairdryer and crockery. breathtaking views and pleasant climate, ideal for walks in the woods, running, mountain biking and relaxing on the shore of nearby Lake Gramolazzo. Gorfigliano has all services: bar, pizzeria, shops, laundry, bank. Lucca is about 1 hours drive, Pisa 1 hour and 20 minutes, the Spezia and the 5 lands in approximately 1 hour and 30. The nearest train station is 10 km away.

A perfect place for your next holiday

We have had a perfect holiday in Gorfigliano. Away from tourists and souvenirs. We had the chance to see the true Italy. Good food and wine - and a perfect place to stay. Our host Damiano has been very helpfull - with all the things one might need. He has helped us from the moment I wrote him and till our departure. Super dejligt sted. Kan varmt anbefales. Perfekt place. My best recommendation.

Det er et fantastisk sted. Smukke omgivelser i et helt uspoleret Italien. Huset ligger i en lille landsby, hvor der er små forretninger - som alle er helt unikke. Gorfigliano er en lille perle, hvor man kan opleve, hvordan livet i Italien er, uden store turistflokke og souvenirforretninger side om side. Vi boede der 15 mand fordelt på 4 familier. Det var helt perfekt til os. Damiano, som udlejer stedet er meget, meget hjælpsom. Han hjalp med alt, både stort og småt - det har været en hel unik oplevelse at besøge hans lille oase. Jeg giver de varmeste anbefalinger til jer, der måtte overveje at leje denne bolig. Malene Frederikshavn, Danmark.

Fijne vakantiewoning met prima zwembad

De vakantiewoning was keurig verzorgd, schoon en netjes, en het zwembad was ook prima in orde. Het uitzicht vanaf terras en zwembad is erg mooi. Damiano, de eigenaar, is erg sympathiek en behulpzaam. Wij hadden autopech gekregen, en hij ging direct rondbellen om een garage te vinden. Vervolgens is hij mee gegaan met ons om te vertalen. Ook voor andere zaken en activiteiten staat klantgerichtheid bij hem bovenaan, dat maakt ook dat je je echt welkom voelt. De omgeving van Garfagnana is werkelijk prachtig, echt een aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers/wandelaars. Het dorpje Gorfigliano is erg klein, maar heeft een supermarktje waar alles te krijgen is, inclusief vers brood 's ochtends, en een cafeetje voor koffie of andere versnaperingen. Dit alles letterlijk om de hoek. De mensen zijn er bijzonder aardig. Op tien minuten rijden is er het Lago di Vagli, waar je kunt zwemmen, vissen, varen of waterfietsen huren, en dit in alle rust want het is er eigenlijk nooit druk. Voor het strand moet je wel wat verder, wij vonden het strand van Carrara erg mooi, gelegen achter een berg waar marmer wordt gewonnen, dus echt een prachtig uitzicht. Hier is wel een (gezellige) drukte. Oh, en Cinque Terre is ook zeker een bezoek waard, heel leuk om per trein te doen. Onze zoon heeft hier veel en mooie bergetappes gefietst. Kortom, voor verblijf en vakantie invulling raden wij deze woning zeker aan!

Martijn and his family were the guests exceptional . They have stayed here for 3 weeks and I found myself very well with them: friendly , polite and always smiling ! I am very glad to have met them and that they were satisfied with their vacation !
