Great family place on the lake!
The owners were awesome! They kept us abreast with what was going on before our stay (flooding, cool temps) and answered all of my questions about amenities. The house is gorgeous! But really it's the deck on the lake side where you will spend all of your time. Lots of comfy outdoor seating. Great places for our family of 6 to eat dinner and play boardgames when the weather was cooler. We watched movies at night with the Fire TVs. The dock was perfect for swimming off of (thank goodness the weather warmed up!). The beds were all comfy, even the pull-out couches! We would love to spend time here again!

Home with Lovely View (3 bedroom w/ bonus sleeping areas)
I’ve rented many homes on Lake Coeur d’Alene over the years. From the lovely deck, this home has the most vast & private view I’ve seen. The house is located on a point, so you can enjoy a more than 180 degree view of the lake (that does NOT include the neighbors) which sipping your coffee or enjoying a drink while you watch the sunset directly ahead. The owners are kind and good communicators. They care about their property and have made some impressive improvements to the house, based on the pictures in 2020 verses the home we enjoyed. Note: Just so you know what to expect, VRBO lists this house as a 4 bedroom, but I would clarify that it is a 3 bedroom with two additional sleeping areas that have sleeper sofas only. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a balcony & water view, which is quite unique.

Disgusting, lacking basic cleanliness... Simply NOT ACCEPTABLE at this price point.
Negatives: 1) Linens and pillows appeared to be a hodgepodge of randomly assorted and worn out goodwill leftovers. Pillows and mattresses were completely soiled and stained -- appear to be decades old and bottom end at that. Smelled weird. Hint: Try a mattress and pillow covers to prevent massive gross stains, and some new pillows that don't look like they've been soiled since 1990! Stained and disgusting. Unreal. 2) Hair on the "clean" linens... hmm. 3) Towels smelled unclean (pretty clear why). For your cheapo towels, it's called "bleach". 4) Seriously? Black mold/mildew coating the shower curtain literally from top to bottom? Again, just disgusting and so easily preventable with simple cleaning. It's called "Clorox Cleanup". 5) Toilets pink/yellow fungus/mold in the bowls apparent, just not clean (again, it's called "bleach"). 6) Try removing the months old Mayonnaise from the refrigerator. 7) Very old and questionable appliances (using the oven heated the floor above and created a weird smell upstairs). 8) Beach is just jagged rocks, so don't expect anyone to swim on the beach. Positives: 1) Nice deck 2) Nice views

Great location and plenty of room for a our family.
Great place and David was very helpful. Neighbors next door seem to complain no matter what you do but we still enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Lakeshore Estate is Perfect for Relaxation & Water Activities
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful and relaxing vacation rental experiences we have had. This property is one of those home you see on the lake and wonder to yourself "I wonder who lives there?!" Well, Dave and Jen are gracious enough to share this magnificent property with others. We brought our own wave runners and docked them at the properties private dock. The expansive deck and outdoor fireplace were the ultimate in relaxation and this is where we spent the majority of our time. When we felt like it, at any time, we could hop on our jet skies and take off! The bedrooms were comfortable and inviting and made for an excellent nights sleep. The property is private and nature surrounded. Listening to the water and watching the most amazing sunsets each night you could ever imagine, will be left in our memory forever. Dave and Jen tried to meet every accommodation to make this vacation top notch. Owners were attentive, responsive and quick to communicate. We didn't need to contact them during the stay at all and left feeling refreshed and lighter than when we had arrived. We would not hesitate to stay here over and over again but arriving home and looking at the calendar, word is out on this magnificent property! It's booked up but make no mistake, we will find a time that is available and rebook. Thank you again to these attentive owners who pay attention to not only the details but their renters satisfaction! Well done!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this home the first moment we stepped out back and looked over the lake; and we know you will too!
The house offers plenty of space for a variety of activities. And the views are unparalleled. Enjoy a day of boating or swimming from the private dock, and then relax on the deck while watching the sun set.
This home truly offers a means to Getaway (but staying close enough to reality should trip into Coeur D'Alene be called for)!

What makes this property unique

This home offers 270' of private lake front and a private boat dock.
There are lake views from every room in the house. The family room, dining room, and master bedroom have double doors that open to the lake.
