Thank you for the kind and detailed review! We're so glad you enjoyed the incredible lake views, cozy home, and all the fun the dock and beach had to offer. It’s great to hear the mini split AC kept things cool during the July heat, and that the bunk house setup worked well for your group. We appreciate your note about the primary bedroom windows—while the natural light and views are beautiful, we understand how the brightness can be a challenge and will look into potential solutions. Hi Joseph, We sure appreciate your feedback here. As we shared during our multiple conversations during your stay, we are sincerely sorry for the issues you encountered. We strive to ensure that all of our guests have a 5-star experience, and we clearly missed the mark here. That said, we are surprised by some elements of your feedback, given our extensive efforts to resolve any items you encountered and our generous offer to work with you to arrive at an amicable resolution that we understood addressed and resolved your concerns. It seems a little unfair to categorize our assistance as "unhelpful" in light of this especially considering we had the housekeeper come back to the home to address the minor cleaning issues -- wet laundry in the washer and re-clean the refrigerator and sink during your stay. We could absolutely understand you feeling like our assistance was "unhelpful" if we didn't respond to your concerns or work to resolve any issues you might have had during your stay -- but that certainly wasn't the case. Nor is it the circumstance with any of our guest stays as we are always available to assist our guests. We utilize a dynamic pricing system that is similar to pricing for an airline or a traditional hotel that reflects market demand. We understand that all of our guests consider pricing at the time of booking and may opt to stay at a different property if the rate isn't conducive to their budget. We assume you would make a similar decision at the time of booking and fully understand if you would have opted to book a home that was more inline with your budget. Relative to your note about pests, given the home's location, pests absolutely can be an issue, which is why we have the home regularly serviced by a professional pest control company to mitigate and control the rodent issue you referenced in your review. In fact, the pest control service was onsite the day of your arrival in preparation for your stay. As noted in your reservation confirmation,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at our home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We genuinely appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve the guest experience. We apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your check-in process. We understand that a smooth and stress-free check-in is crucial, and we're truly sorry for the challenges you faced with the keys and the door code. Unfortunately, situations like these can occasionally arise due to unforeseen circumstances, but we're glad that our team was able to find a solution to resolve the issue. We do realize that the delay in getting you access to the home set a negative tone for the start of your vacation. Our aim is to ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay from the moment they arrive, and we're disappointed that we fell short of that goal. As for the check-out time, we understand your concern regarding the early hour. Our check-out time is set to accommodate the time required for our cleaning crew to thoroughly prepare the space for the next guests. I regret that we were not able to waiver from that time for you and can understand your disappointment in our inability to be flexible on this matter. We genuinely value your stay with us, and we're committed to learning from your experience to enhance our services. Despite the challenges you faced, we hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay in our property and create lasting memories. Should your travels bring you back to the area, we would be honored to have the opportunity to host you again and provide you with a seamless and enjoyable stay. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay. We really appreciate your feedback. We certainly understand your experience and stay with us was different than your prior stay with the old owners. While our processes differ from individual owner hosts, many of our guests prefer to stay in a professionally managed property. The water toy package offered by the prior owner didn't transfer with the ownership. Given that the property sold right before the start of the season, we didn't have an opportunity to replace the amenities package before we hosted our first guests. Guests have access to kayaks, a floating party barge, and floaty mats. They can also rent a boat or jet skis that can be delivered through a third-party concierge service, which is a process that was very similar to the prior owners where guests paid a separate fee to access the amenities. We provide a starter set of supplies for our guest's stays which is intended to get guests through an average stay of 3 to 4 days. When guests require additional supplies, they are responsible for purchasing the products on their own. Our supplies include a luxury line of bath amenities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and soap. We find most of our guests prefer individual bath products like they're accustomed to experiencing in a traditional hospitality setting. We're delighted to have the opportunity to host you and share our brand of vacation rental management with the next era of guests who visit this beautiful lake home. As you noted, the setting on Lake Couer d'Alene is unmatched, offering a unique experience for guests looking for the ultimate lake life living!

Thank you for leaving us a 5 star review. We hope to see you back again in the near future.
