Gorgeous and spacious "5 Star" Harbor Lakehouse on Cedar Creek Lake


‘5 Star’ Harbor is a delightfully unique property located on Cedar Creek Lake just a short drive from DFW. You will think you are seeing double when you enter in and realize that this home has twice the amenities. There are 2 fully stocked kitchens, 2 living areas, 2 lake view screened in porches, and 2 laundry areas. And, with 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, there is room for everyone. The space will comfortably accommodate up to 5 families and is ideal for reunions or other types of small group gatherings.

But, don’t get too comfortable in the house or you will miss out on the beauty and enjoyment of being at the lake. The sunrises are glorious, the fishing is abundant, and the fun on the water is spectacular. With 250 feet of waterfront, the sandy bottom, waist-deep water is the perfect location to play water volleyball, swim, or take a leisurely paddle board ride on the lake (life jackets provided for your safety). For extra fun, bring your own watercraft or rent one at a nearby marina.

Take a break from the sun and relax under a shade tree on our comfortable hammock for two. Bring your own Eno as there are plenty of trees to hang them from and don’t forget to bring that book you’ve been wanting to start.

For the competitive ones in your group, enjoy playing games, cards, corn hole, spike ball, or check out the Star Harbor Golf Club. This 9-hole course plays just under 2400 yards with minimal hazards, wide-open fairways, and basic, medium-sized greens. Work on your game by playing Star Harbor with one club, say a 7 iron, and work on mastering different types of shots with that club.

After grilling dinner (both a gas grill and charcoal grill are available), wind down the evening by sitting around a fire. Roast marshmallows in the firepit, tell stories, sing songs, and breathe in the beauty of God’s creation as you gaze into the night sky.

‘5 Star’ Harbor has something for everyone to enjoy, but don’t take our word for it, book now and come see for yourself!

We have dock that is available for our renters to tie up a boat to, however the boat lifts are not available for renters.

The responsible party for booking must be a minimum of 25 years of age, sign a waiver, and provide proof of identification and names of guests. Parties and wedding events excluded.

Very spacious house! Our large family loved that this property is actually a large house connected to a smaller house by a hallway because we have a 2 year old. She could be put to bed in the smaller house while the young adults could play games in the larger house without waking her up. They can get somewhat loud. The house had 2 kitchens and having the 2 refrigerators was wonderful because we have lots of food to store in them as we cook most of our meals. Having screened in porches was also great. The weather was unusually pleasant during our stay and we all spent many hours on the porch. The 2 year old could get outside on the porch when it rained. She had never seen a porch before and really enjoyed being out there. The Host was also very attentive.

The house was perfect for our group - children and babies on one side and adults on the other. The kitchen was well equipped with every pot, pan and gadget imaginable available. There were games, toys and a few baby items available which came in handy. Our hosts made checking in so easy and when we had questions, they were very accessible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Star Harbor for our prayer ministry team retreat. Plenty of room and bathrooms for our team. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors, two kitchens (that are truly fully stocked) and just an absolutely peaceful place. We can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect Vacation for our Family

This is our second year to rent this property for our family reunion. The owners provide so many things from a fully stocked kitchen, laundry essentials, plenty of beach towels, lifejackets and lots of games for all ages. The owners are also wonderful to work with.
