Not your resort holiday - but that's a good thing!

The location of this house will not suit everyone but if you are wanting peace, tranquility and an authentic location then you will need to look hard to find somewhere better. We have had a fantastic week staying in Elsa's wonderful house and exploring Fuerteventura with its dramatic scenery and beautiful beaches. After fantastic days out to resorts in the North and the South it was really lovely to return to the tranquility of Elsa's home with its heated pool and private garden. We definitely hope to return for further visits as it has been one of the most relaxing holidays we have enjoyed.

Beautiful property in Quiet Location

We had planned a quiet relaxing stay, a place to warm up in this awful winter. The biggest hit was the property itself. Really spacious, beautifully and simply restored. Not liking too much sun it was perfect for me to relax inside when I’d had too much or sit on the Terrace. We don’t travel about too much but would come back and do that. Restaurant recommendations from Elsa were very good. There is a baker in town with great bread and pastries. Had never been to Fuerteventura before and I would say it is not too developed which suited us perfectly. Had a car so didn’t use public transport but there seemed to be reasonable bus service. Would recommend it 100%, it’s a place to relax so don’t expect towering hotels!

hibernation

It’s our second “hibernation” since becoming retirees. We love it. The Casa Emblematica in Tuineje is an ideal choice for all seeking a quiet place far away from the areas of intensive tourism, but with all amenities including pool and a nice garden around till to good infrastructure such as nearby supermarket, bakery etc. The casa is conveniently situated in the middle of the island, all beaches or points of interest are at most a one hr drive away. Elsa and Sergio are the guiding spirits of the house, helpful every time and easy going. Thanks a lot to both for making our stay such enjoyable. We’d return anytime. Things to do we can recommend: sunset in Ajuy, beaches between Costa Calma and Jandia in the south as well as around El Cotillo in the NW, seafood in the Cofradía Pescadores in Gran Tarajal or Sunday dinner in the Casa Naturaleza (reservation required) south of the also worth seeing Batancuria, the little Museo del Queso Majorero near Antigua, the Timanfaya NP on Lanzarote (use an organized day trip by bus) and, and

Prachtig, ruim huis met een smaakvolle inrichting en een bijzondere tuin. Alles is goed geoutilleerd en comfortabel. Het ligt landelijk en rustig, al hoor je soms wel wat hondengeblaf in de omgeving. Tegelijk is de locatie centraal, waardoor alles op het eiland goed te bereiken is. Een welkomstdocument met praktische instructies ter plaatse zou het verblijf nog meer vergemakkelijkt hebben.

Das Haus ist am Rande von Tuineje gelegen, in einer ruhigen Straße. Es ist wundervoll gestaltet und liebevoll mit Sinn fĂŒr Details eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, inklusive eines Mini GeschirrspĂŒlers und eines kleinen Backofens. Auto wird benötigt, aber das war uns klar. Zur BegrĂŒĂŸung war Wasser, Saft und eine Flasche Wein im KĂŒhlschrank, hierfĂŒr vielen lieben Dank an Elsa. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war total klasse, alle Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Das GrundstĂŒck ist nahezu uneinsehbar und wir haben die Abende auf der Terrasse sehr genossen und auch den allabendlichen Besuch von Luna (dem lieben Nachbarhund) fanden wir klasse. Wir fanden das Haus wirklich wundervoll. Der Pool ist klein aber fein und fĂŒr eine AbkĂŒhlung nach einem anstrengenden Tag völlig ausreichend, auch wenn der Wasserfall und das Licht nicht funktionierten (jedenfalls haben wir nicht herausgefunden wie). Es gibt viele BĂŒcher in verschiedenen Sprachen und viele Spiele fĂŒr Kinder. Der kleine Mini Markt im Dorf hat alles was man benötigt und sollte dieser geschlossen haben, bietet auch die Tankstelle etwas weiter auch spĂ€ter noch eine fußlĂ€ufige Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, vielen lieben Dank!

wir haben schöne Tage in diesem Haus genießen können. Alles sehr sauber und vorhanden was gebraucht wird. Einzig wĂ€ren Fliegengitter an den Fenstern von "spĂŒrbaren" Vorteil. Sonst alles gut. Lieben Dank an Elsa.

Tout d’abord encore merci Elsa de s’ĂȘtre dĂ©placĂ©e quand nous avons claquĂ© la porte avec les clĂ©s Ă  l’intĂ©rieur. La maison est trĂšs spacieuse et calme mais trĂšs sombre et vieillotte. Un rafraĂźchissement serait le bienvenue (linge de lit, oreillers trĂšs usĂ©s et trĂšs inconfortables, coussins, plaids) La piscine malgrĂ© nos demandes n’a jamais dĂ©passĂ© 25,5 ce qui est vraiment juste avec le vent trĂšs prĂ©sent. La tempĂ©rature annoncĂ©e Ă©tait de 28. La maison ne comportant pas de bibelots, les frais de mĂ©nage sont excessifs. Voiture obligatoire. Pas un restaurant proche.

Wunderbarer Urlaubsort abseits des Tourismus

Wir haben jede Sekunde in diesem Haus genossen. Es eignet sich hervorragend fĂŒr alle, die Urlaub auf dieser tollen Insel machen wollen ohne in einem Touristenort zu wohnen. Die Menschen in der Umgebung sind super freundlich. Es gibt einen kleinen Laden sowie Spielplatz und Tiere (Esel, Katzen) fußlĂ€ufig, daher auch bestens fĂŒr Familien mit kleinen Kindern geeignet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Maravillosa estancia

Elsa, la propietaria, muy amable y disponible desde el minuto 1. La casa estupenda, la hemos disfrutado muchĂ­simo, nos ha encantado. Tolles Haus fĂŒr erholsame Stunden

Die Bilder geben nur begrenzt wieder was fĂŒr ein schönes Ferienhaus fie Finca ist. Geschmackvoll und stilgerecht eingerichtet , wer zu viert kommt hat mehr als genug Platz. Vermisst haben wir Holz um den Kamin abends anzuheizen ( Abendstunden doch noch kĂŒhl)!dass wĂ€re ein toller Service fĂŒr GĂ€ste... dass konnten wir aber im Dorf kaufen.Herzlichen Dank an die Besitzerin Elsa!

Einfach erholsam

Wir haben im November 2018 drei herrliche Wochen in diesem wirklich schönen Landhaus verbracht. Alles ist wirklich wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. ELSA ist eine tolle, freundliche Vermieterin und wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefĂŒhlt. Möbel, Geschirr usw. hochwertig und insgesamt eine gute Grundausstattung. Ausreichend GewĂŒrze, Salz, Essig und Öl u.s.w. waren vorhanden. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Der Fernseher hatte sehr viele deutschen KanĂ€le. Der Pool ist bis ca. 24-25 Grad beheizt. Dieser kann auch nicht höher eingestellt werden. Der Garten ist gut gepflegt. Man hat zwar Nachbarn, es bleibt jedoch trotzdem genĂŒgend PrivatsphĂ€re. Zum BĂ€cker ist es ein gemĂŒtlicher Spaziergang, ebenso zum nahegelegenen Mini-Supermarkt und zum Dorfrestaurant. (Einfache kanarische KĂŒche aber immer gut!!) Guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr sĂ€mtliche AusflĂŒge. Einziger Nachteil ist der fehlende Backofen. Das Haus ist hochwertig eingerichtet, warum hier bei der Grundausstattung auf einen Backofen verzichtet wurde, ist uns ein RĂ€tsel. Schade. Auch nach langem Überlegen fĂ€llt uns kein weiterer negativer Punkt ein. Insgesamt rundum sehr empfehlenswert!!!!
