About this property

Welcome to the Treehouse. Our home away from home and hopefully yours too.

We love coming to the treehouse just off clear Rock Lake. The Treehouse is a getaway, although there are neighbors, you feel as if you are nestled in a grove of trees. The house itself provides places where guests can linger, relax, sip a glass of wine or a cup of java or simply just be. One of my favorite features is the glass windows that wrap up around the ceiling so that it feels like the outside is coming in. *NOTE* children are completely welcome-the property has stairs and a two story wrap around deck fyi.

Quiet and homey

Our host was very communicative and responsive, working quickly to address problems that arose. A note regarding the floor plan, if there is anyone in your party who cannot do stairs, the main living room/den seating area is downstairs. Also, remember you are basically in the woods, so expect there to be insects around.

A home away from home

Perfect getaway house near a clean, spring-fed lake. House is surrounded by trees, feels very private. Well appointed kitchen, lovely sunny dining area, comfy bed. Beautiful deck with large grill and good outdoor seating. Owners exceptionally responsive, friendly and accommodating. Would love to return. 😊

Great weekend for Dads and Sons

There were 7 of us and we fit comfortably. We intended to play cards and watch sports for a weekend of dads spending time with their sons. This was a great and comfortable place for that. The pool table was a great to have as an extra game to play. The dart board needs a little work to be usable, but there was plenty else to do.

The property was attractive and in a lovely neighborhood. Accommodation would receive 5 stars but there was a glitch with a toilet on the main floor that required a repairman to be present the first hour and a half right after we had arrived. Also, the home smelled like cigarette smoke that we later found was due to a cigarette butt lying on the floor under a kitchen stool. The smell cleared up pretty quickly once the cigarette had been removed. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Beautiful kitchen and eating area. There are living spaces upstairs in the loft above the kitchen and a well appointed family room in the basement. The kitchen was spacious and had plenty of seating, but there was no living area other than the kitchen and master bedroom on the main floor. After paying the rental fee, we were charged an extra 100 when we told host we had two extra people staying with us the first night, even though we were still under the maximum number of guests. Make sure to disclose this from the start so that you are not surprised by unexpected fees.

The Treehouse is a spacious, comfortable and well-appointed property. It is in a beautiful location offering a serene place to spend time communing with nature, both indoors and out, thanks to the many windows and deck surrounding the back.The communication from Kim was prompt and showed genuine concern for our comfort. We'd definitely recommend this property and would stay here again should our travels bring us to this area in the future!

Unexpected housing need.

Plumbing issues at our home made it necessary for us to find temporary lodging with little notice. Kemberley went out of her way to accommodate us. The Treehouse had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is beautiful, even in winter/early spring. We would be interested in staying again during the summer or fall when the leaves are on the trees.

Family girls weekend

The property is nice. The beds were very comfortable. We wished there was more soft seating on the main level but we also had 8 month pregnant mom and small children. It was great to get away.

one week at the tree house

our family had a great week at the treehouse. We love to go to a location and visit the historic sites. We thourghly enjoyed the Lake mills band in the downtown park.

Bach Getaway

I organized a bachelorette getaway weekend for 5 of us and we had an amazing time. Kimberley was so generous and accommodating from the get go. Anytime I texted her to ask a question, she responded immediately. And she even offered for us to check out late since no one else was booked after us. It was a perfect getaway and I recommend it 100%.

I dont know where to begin abput allthe positives and beauty of he treehouse....Incredible views, solitude, gorgeous home and amenities , fully stocked kitchen , linens, and both Matt and Kimberley responded immediately with sending a plumber for a minor bathroom issue. Three childhood friends..senior ladies now...were able to just relax and share so many memories and make new ones! We also loved the quaint townof Lake Mills for shopping and dining...Best girls trip ever !
