This was our favorite Gatlinburg vrbo! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Not too far from the main drag. Plenty of kitchen appliances and accoutrements, washer/dryer, hot tub, amazing view(!), and great spaces with games for the whole family to play. All in all, we loved it!
Comfortable and cozy. We loved our stay. Perfect location for our soccer tournament weekend. This home had everything we needed. Super clean and lovely decor. Wonderful communication from host and easy check-in/check-out. We’ll be back!
This house is in the perfect location for accessing all the area has to offer - Dollywood and Pigeon Forge are about 20 min north, the Sugarlands visitor center for GSMNP is less than 20 min, the Gatlinburg strip is ten minutes away - you’re in the heart of everything, with a beautiful view from the huge deck and all the amenities of home at your disposal. Groceries and Starbucks are together at the base of the mountain road, and the Arts & Crafts loop is nearby, too.The blackout curtains in the bedrooms were great for my family of light-sensitive sleepers, and I’ve never slept so soundly on a mattress that wasn’t my own! The kitchen is well-stocked, hot water was plentiful for back-to-back showers, and the assortment of games was fun!
We had an amazing stay. When we reached out for anything the responses were prompt and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. The shuffle board was a lot of fun.
We stayed at the Smoky Mist Chalet for five nights during the week after Christmas. We loved the pretty Christmas and winter decor that was displayed throughout the chalet. The home had everything we needed (dishes, appliances, extra blankets, games, etc.), including a gas grill on the deck that looked brand new. Christy has done a great job prepping the house so that visitors are able to relax and enjoy their vacation and the wonderful view!
We loved the layout of the chalet for each of us to have our own space. The home was very comfortable, accommodating and close to the attractions we chose. We even saw bears!
Everything was perfect! Christy is a phenomenal host-she was quick to reply to messages and offered suggestions for restaurants and outdoor adventures. and the house is simply beautiful. We truly felt like we were staying at a friend's house and not a vacation rental. Close to enough to town, but private enough to feel like we were at a private mountain hideaway. I cannot say enough good things about this property! We cannot wait to come back next year.
The property was as described. Communication with christy was thorough and straightforward. The house was comfortable and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there were beautiful views from the living area . We enjoyed our stay!
Christy was a wonderful host!! Communication was timely, considerate and very helpful!!The home, Wow!!! It’s a winner!!! Welcoming, perfectly designed and gorgeous!!! If you enjoy games, you are set! So many indoor and outdoor options. And the view was stunning!!
The property was well stocked and accurately described in the photos. Everything we needed in a quiet location within a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Really great set up for for our family of 4 in-laws. We would recommend this property.
Clean, cabin only thing I have to say is it showed handicap accessible and the driveway and basement stairs needed rail

Thank you for writing a review and being our guest. I just want to clarify the items you mentioned so future guests understand what we do and do not offer. We do not advertise as handicap accessible. We do however try to be as transparent as possible by showing a picture of the driveway and highlighting the fact that it is sloping due to being on the side of a mountain. We also have provided a picture of our stairs in our listing. The stairs handrail is clearly visible in the provided picture. I have reviewed our listing to be sure VRBO has not indicated (outside of my knowledge) that we are handicap accessible. I did not find any indication of it being advertised as such. If you have found otherwise, please feel free to notify me where you have seen it so I can get them to correct it. Thank you again for being our guest.
Exceeded our expectations! Host was incredibly responsive and clear. Location felt remote but was close to grocery shopping, gas, and tons of adventure for the family! Would recommend to my family and closest friends - thanks for an amazing experience.
This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It had everything we needed. It was close to downtown gatlinburg and the views were beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.
The cabin was clean and exactly as stated in the description. The owner was great to communicate with and very accommodating. The location is only 10-15 minutes from Gatlinburg which was perfect for our stay. Host provided everything we could have needed. Would highly recommend!
The property was very clean and exactly how it was described on VRBO. The owner responded quickly to my questions and was extremely helpful. This was our first trip to Tennessee. The area was very quiet and serene but very close to so many attractions. We loved staying in the mountains.
We fell in love with this property due to the view and close proximity to the National Park. There are an abundance of hiking trails, waterfalls, horse-back riding, and fly fishing opportunities within the Park. If the Park is not your thing, there are plenty of shopping and entertainment options close by. The area is very family friendly. The home itself is warm and inviting. The new construction offers amenities not provided in all the rentals in this area. We love how the home offers both a wooded and mountain view. Bear sitings are a regular occurrence in the area.
What makes this property unique
Large bedrooms and bathrooms with granite countertops. Wrap around deck with a great view of the woods and mountains. Full kitchen complete with granite countertops and stainless appliances. Open concept living and kitchen. Double doors throughout the house that allow for an indoor/outdoor entertaining option. Gas fireplace for cold nights. Paved roads to the property. We decorate for Christmas.
