Everything about this place was wonderful. The best part was how quiet it was. All we heard was birds in the trees, wind blowing through those same trees and a few coyotes voicing their opinions. We would definitely return to this house.
Great communication with the owner, very friendly, had a furnace issue before we arrived but they had plan B ready before we arrived & a fix in the near future. GREAT house, loved the wood stove, very comfortable home, great deck as well as the area on top of the garage to sit outside. It was perfect for my stay.
Overall, this was a decent place to stay on our vacation. There was enough space for 4 adults, and also pleased we were able to bring our dog. The neighborhood was nice as well.
The upkeep of the property could be improved, as there were a few quirks (i.e. the bathroom shower knob could only be used with a vice grip tool that was attached and continued to fall off during use, the main gate could only stay closed with a bungee cord)
The reservation was cancelled as we were in route with our dogs.

Comfortable for a dorm.
Nice space however, this house was posted as the main house. It wasn't. We felt like we were living in a dormitory as the bedroom and bathroom at the end of the hall were locked off and rented to another couple. Deceptive advertising.

Listing says “MAIN” house which implies there’s another property in the back. I also mentioned the shared areas of the property (garage, main entrance and backyard) and besides those areas there is no shared space inside the house so I’m not sure why guests felt like sharing a dorm when they had their private bedrooms, bathroom, large living room, dinning area kitchen, patio and upper deck: all private and secluded. Guests were very rude and difficult from the beginning, demanding a receipt before they arrived when VRBO doesn’t payout until a week after check in, pressuring me to give information about access when I had other guests in the unit and didn’t want to compromise their safety, not finding the welcome notice when they arrived (a very big piece of paper on the coffee table), complaining they couldn’t find the WiFi code, which was on the notice, complaining of neighboring guests who were very sweet, and now attempting to stain my listings reputation when they wrote they loved the property when they first arrived. Barbara and Brian were a nightmare. I would never rent to them again- and made sure VRBO was aware of that.

Poor management
Well upon arrival we were pretty happy with the place. There was confusion that the key code was for a key box on the fence, not the key code of the door, kinda odd. First hour or so was fine, then issues came along. The host had double booked the house! A Group of people showed up, and were trying to get into the house. The host did not respond to calls, or text for 2 hrs, and thought this was ok. Meanwhile we had to deal with these people for over an hour, they even were asking to come in to use the microwave to feed their kids, during sunset time, then left us afraid to leave for dinner, incase they came back. I’m glad we arrived first, or we would have had no where to stay, after flying from Washington, and driving 2 hours! It really has me bothered than I don’t feel I can trust Vrbo to not let this happen again, and don’t feel confident, especially after the lack of caring from Vrbo, and the host. The rest of the stay was ok, until we found a baby scorpion on the kitchen floor, I guess maybe that’s just an Arizona thing, but scary with an infant and small dog. Anyways, decent house, horrible host!
The property is in a great spot with a fantastic roof view of red rocks. My best friend came in from Ohio and had never been to Sedona so we drove up from the valley for two nights before Flagstaff.
Walking up, the front walk/patio had not been swept in quite a while so it wasn't be best first impression. Everything inside was clean and tidy but someone had left refrigerator items on the counter. We think whoever cleaned it last forgot to throw them away, so we did.
We immediately went to the rooftop to see the view. It was a little in disarray and dusty. No matter, we wiped off the lounge chairs and watched the beautiful sunsets, stars, and sunrises from up there!
When we got ready for bed on night 1, we realized the bathroom sink faucets were not functional. They seemed calcified shut. We tried the shutoff under the sink but those were also impossible to turn. We used the kitchen sink to brush our teeth and wash our hands and face...but my friend was FURIOUS...and let me know it.
I let the owner know in the morning and honestly, with only a full day left, I didn't want repairmen coming into our only bathroom. The owner was responsive and thanked us for good communication.
There was a guest in the back unit and we were glad she was female since we were two ladies solo.
There is a new couch. The property could use a little more TLC outside...that roof patio could be made over to be stunning. Overall, we loved the view and had a great time in Sedona!
The house and location was gorgeous! The deck was a little dirty, and there is construction next door. The house is actually some sort of duplex, which is alright just a surprise. Overall, I'd go again!
The rooftop patio was great to sit and admire the beautiful scenery. The house was great for us. It needs a little TLC along with the property but met our needs. They were very responsive and nice to deal with.
Overall nice place with nice views, as advertised. A few things to nit pick - thermostat was locked so couldn’t turn up ac, had some pretty difficult nights due to the heat. No laundry was also a let down as well. Would also have been nice if some trash bags were supplied.
When we checked in, out host, Andrea was there. Extremely pleasant and very upbeat. She welcomed us into the property, which was very clean and she had so much information in regards to Sedona. It was like we had our own personal directory.
The house was set up nicely. I don't like the couch situation but that is my personal taste opinion and does not change how I feel about the property. The upstairs deck was fabulous, the view was amazing and we took full advantage of it.
Thank you Andrea for everything and we hope to see you again
I would definitely stay again

Great location & view, too many minor issues
First, the positive: The location was great, and the view from the top deck was amazing! I was able to ride my bike to many different trailheads, so ticked that big box solidly. Check in was easy, and the host was fairly quick to respond to questions, and to get in touch with us about some of the house AC settings that we needed to manage. Slept fine, beds and linins were clean and soft and a great closure to a day of activity. Plenty of hot water for showering.
On the negative side, it came down to the overall lack of care with the property that let you know the owners look at it as a purely commercial enterprise. This is fine, but for what we paid, I'd have expected everything to be in perfect repair. There were obvious drywall cuts (1/4" gaps) in the bathroom and across from the kitchen island - multiple jagged cuts with screws holding the sections in place (both about 20"x20"). There were multiple light switches with tape over them with "don't use" scrawled on them. The shower head and it's support structure were not attached to the wall - some double sided tape had been used and it was no longer working, and the tub had peeled sections of laminate. The dishes in the dishwasher were generally clean, but quite a few had to be hand washed due to dried food on them, and many of the pots were past their prime and need to be replaced (surfaces were very rough/grimy looking, not appealing for cooking on). The couch looked luxurious in the picture but the back cushions were not attached, so if you leaned back, they slid off. Not ideal if you wanted to kick back and watch some TV.
Again, great location, and if these low-cost issues were taken care of, it could have been 5 stars.
This is a lovely spot. Close to hiking and restaurants and not far from central Sedona. The bed was VERY comfortable and the view from the upper deck was gorgeous. They need new/nicer furniture outside in the yard. If you have trouble with stairs the deck will be inaccessible and there isn’t much nice sitting space on the
Main level. It’s important to note and is t clear from the description that the two rentals really do share the yard space. The back rental bumps up against the main house and the walls are paper thin. The other renters we had next door were lovely and respectful but even normal talking could
Be heard in the back bedroom. Luckily we didn’t need that and by the time you were halfway up the hall the voices couldn’t be heard (very weird) but if someone was a light sleeper and had to use that back bedroom it would be rough. The inside was really spacious and perfectly clean. We would stay here again and Andrea was great and attentive. But the shared wall is something to note.

Disappointing lodgings
Exellent location with great nearby hiking trails.
Surfaces were clean ,kitchen,sinks,bathroom counters.
When opening cupboards full of dirt, broken shelves, over abundance of old candles and cleaning products that were almost empty.Oven extremely dirty and cobwebs on kitchen window and bathroom window ,windows were very dirty and we cleaned them.Broken glass and old dog bone under coach.unconfortable old furniture.
Yard filled with building material ,broken glass, dead plans basically not taken care of.
Dryer knob came off after second wash and owner refused to repair claiming that we broke it and wanted us to pay for it!
Nice above garage terrace with views and nice yard for dogs however renters of attached studio do not usually pick up after their pets.
We loved Sedona but at this point we cannot recommend this lodging

This review is false and heartbreaking- to say the least. Albert and Brigitte arrived at my property for a long stay of almost 3 months so I welcomed them and show them the entire house to make sure they were happy- there was no mentioned of anything being dirty, old or broken: they loved the house. They should have mentioned the dirty cabinets, windows and oven right away and I would have sent the cleaners back but they only mentioned these “problems” after almost two months into their stay when they broke my dryer and were defensive about it. What’s so sad is that we had a fantastic connection at first and I even invited them to visit me at my personal Frank Lloyd Wright majestic home, treated them like friends, and we had a bonding time over wine and food, which I provided with pleasure. All was wonderful and extremely friendly until they broke my dryer handle and refused to pay for a small $75 claim fee from my home warranty insurance company. They even refused to buy super glue and try to fix it themselves, I couldn’t believe their lack of responsibility. It was so sad to see how they turned from being wonderful to a major nightmare. How everything was so beautiful and perfect and just because I asked them to cover the $75 claim cost they turned into haters and started complaining of things I had no idea. My house was entirely remodeled a year ago and my furniture is high end designer- not old or uncomfortable at all- my sectional was $6,000 and is a very large 3 piece linen sofa: this review is so absurd. I have nothing but amazing reviews and this couple is truly ungrateful. After all I did to make sure they were happy, went above and beyond my managerial duties, after all the sweet and loving texts and false “We’ll be friends for ever!” they turned on me and gave me this nasty review. I can only say that it clearly shows their lack of honesty and class.
Absolutely loved this house and our stay! Awesome location...centrally located, 10 min. drive to the heart of Sedona. You go by Red Rock Scenic Byway on the way to this place. Beautiful place! Dog friendly! Loved the spacious upper deck with scenic view of red rock mountains for lounging, reading, yoga, relaxation. Modern amenities. Property manager easy to get a hold of. Has a full kitchen. We brought our groceries. Bring extra paper towel and toilet paper if staying for 5 days or more. Highly recommend it!
My friends and I spent 2 nights at Andrea’s house for a nice holiday getaway. The upper deck was amazing, we sat out there and watched the sun set both nights. The fire place was such a great touch as well making the whole house warm & cozy. Would love to stay there again.
We had a great week in Sedona at this home rental. Location was perfect for us as we brought our two furbabies with us and the fenced in yard, set us at ease because one of our pups is a bit of a runner! It was super close to a ton of the great hiking locations in Sedona and minutes from some of the top restaurants too! We loved all of the patio space provided and the great views of the red rocks. There was plenty of space for my husband and I, even as we both had to work remotely. Would definitely recommend staying here, just remember to bring some paper products and cleaning supplies as those were the only things we found a bit lacking at this house.
We were in Sedona on a family vacation where my grandpa joined us from Bullhead AZ. While we weren’t in the house for very long it was perfect for use. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and everything was very clean. The owner was very nice and super helpful. She even has information packets and books about the area. Would definitely stay there again.
