It's a beautiful summer day at your Manzanillo vacation condo on the pacific coast in Mexico… Sailboats are cruising; their sails flapping in the ocean breeze. Palm trees are waving while providing extra shadow to some people sitting around the nearby pool. When breathing in the air, you smell a scent of flowers, sea salt, and spicy food. And when listening carefully, you can even hear some Mexican music coming out of a nearby restaurant. Life feels good at the famous Manzanillo - Las Hadas area… That’s why we gave our luxurious apartment the name ‘La Vida Libre' or 'Freedom for Life'.

Spacious Studio with a gorgeous view

I was impressed with the studio and all the communication before my rental with Astrid. It was very well furnished with all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. The kitchen was well stocked. There was bottles of water in the fridge and ice in the freezer. The bathroom was well stocked with lots of towels, shampoo & conditioner and other medical supplies. Many little restaurants within step away and a very secure place to stay. The onsite restaurant by the pool had wonderful food and great margaritas Overall it was a perfect little getaway with great views from the balcony & pool. The people at the security call me a cab anytime I needed transportation. I would love to stay again and again. Thank you so much for you hospitality. Sylvie T from Vancouver

A cute little place. Wow, this complex is different, tucked under and within the hillside on a rocky peninsular jutting out into the Manzanillo Bay. The views from the balcony are awesome. The photos of this cute little, I think you would call it a studio, condo show just what you are getting. The outside of the complex property is being renovated and work is progressing at the time I was there. Some of the elevators do not work and stairways need tiling.

The views from condo were lovely and the patio very intimate and cool. The pool and area looked over the bay where one could watch the ships come and go plus a reasonably priced cafe and bar poolside. We found the property manager responded quickly to our requests. Lots of DVDs movies, no tv hookup. The condo was not ready for guests, no toilet paper, water, one wine glass and dirty dishes and micro. The towels in the bathroom on arrival were dirty and threadbare. The bed linens were worn and the bed and pillows had no covers on them so had a well used smell. There is no kettle and a temperamental toaster. There many stairs up and down, 1/2 of the elevators aren't working, plus hilly cobblestone roads so one needs to be in good physical shape. There is an a all inclusive hotel next door, lots of evening entertainment noise plus 2 Mexican weddings on beach , in 4days, with huge speakers. Very loud until 12. Some animal noises in kitchen ceiling. Possibly raccoons as whole condo complex has issues with them.

Beautiful location. Loved the pool and the view from there. Easy to get into town by bus or taxi. Buy your pesos with bank card at ATMs for best exchange rate. Oasis Beach Club was superb for swimming, sun, and food. Day trips to Colima, Canoas, and Rancho Peña Blanca (ATV tour) were lovely

Perfect Getaway!

We spend an amazing week in Manzanillo. The condo was perfect in every way and the views were amazing! We tried the Pizza place below the condo in the harbor and it was the best pizza I have ever had. The hospitality of everyone we met was so refreshing. Astrid was great in the communication in renting the condo, which I have to say is refreshing:-) We have been going to Mexico for the last 15 years and have not found a scenery as beautiful as it is in Manzanillo and can't wait to go back!!! Thank you so much for letting us rent your place.

quiet holiday

Very comfortable and clean unit. Quiet location with relatively easy access to the shopping areas in Santiago. The balcony afforded a cool place to relax. The beach was very close, clean and safe to swim in. The view from the balcony was great- onto the beach below. Appreciated the use of the DVD player and movies. Security at the complex is good and staff very friendly. Recommended for persons wanting a quiet holiday and enjoying walking a lot.

It's been our dream to have 'our own place under the sun'. And we feel very privileged to have found such a wonderful spot. Located in the Las Hadas Bay, you're pretty sheltered from the blistering sun or wind. And with several of the best restaurants that Manzanillo has to offer, just a 50 mtr. walk away, you don't need to leave the premises if you don't feel like it.

What makes this property unique

This vacation rental apartment has been renovated completely in the fall of 2024. Officially a studio apartment but with a separate bedroom. Yes, you read that right. It is now a 1 bedroom apartment. With a brand new kitchen, new windows, new airco, new bathroom ... fully renovated from top to bottom.

Its in a prime location in Manzanillo close to all the amenities and it has an amazing view. The Moorish architecture of Las Hadas gives it a uniqueness together with the cobble stoned streets and the privacy of the bay.
