NEWLY REMODELED KITCHEN AND BATHROOM SUMMER 2023! THIS IS THE OWNERS UNIT, ONLY RENTED FOR 2 WEEKS OF THE SUMMER. IT IS A PROFESSIONALY CLEANED AND VERY WELL MAINTAINED YEAR ROUND HOME. IT HAS HEAT AND A GAS FIREPLACE IN THE LIVING ROOM. NEW OUTDOOR HOT AND COLD SHOWER. INDIVIDUALLY CONTROLLED AIR CONDITIONING INSTALLED IN EACH ROOM IN 2021

Enjoy a surprisingly private, quiet setting on Wells, Beach. Just two attached Beach vacation homes and smaller guest suite situated on an acre of beach dune. Our private path through the dune grass leads right to beautiful, sandy Wells Beach. Wells Beach is a large, long ocean beach for swimming, body surfing, surfing, boogie boarding, jogging, walking. Next door to your vacation home is calm harbor beach and the Well's Jetty, perfect for scenic strolls. Sunrises are spectacular from the home. Walk across the street to Wells harbor for boating, kayaking and enjoying gorgeous sunsets. Enjoy fishing off the jetty or surf casting on the beach all from your front door. This is a perfect setting for 2 couples or 6 adults. Sorry, this property is Not suitable for young children

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house (6 people max, no young children). No linens provided, must bring sheets and towels. If your time is not available or you have more than 6 guests inquire about renting Unit 1, our other house on the same property, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, sleeps up to 8. Unit 1 rates are 25% less than Unit 2 rates (VRBO 3788350ha).

Great place to stay

Owner is well organized. There are clear instructions and guidelines. We especially enjoyed the view and the proximity to Wells Beach. It is a beautiful place.

Fantastic week in Wells Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional location, excellent amenities and comfort of this beautiful home. The home is well equipped and only a short walk down a private path to the beach. Our family group felt privileged to spend time together here, and would definitely recommend this fantastic home.

This is a lovely summer home that is meticulously maintained by the owners. You will have everything you need for a beautiful stay by the ocean. We loved it. Very nice owners who are responsive and helpful.

Great Location

The property was very clean and it is in a great location, steps from the beach. Our concern was that there was a lot of clutter in the cabinets and shelves.

We are happy to hear that our home’s cleanliness was appreciated and noticed. We take pride in that and have our professional cleaners come to Maine from Boston for our cleanings. The gorgeous water views and steps to multiple beach options are also what people love most about our property. This is our second home (not just a rental property), so for those who don’t want the kitchen stocked with spices and household kitchen items, as provided for this guest, just let us know. Although, for most it’s a plus not having to purchase these household items while on vacation.

You Won't Want to Leave This Lovely Home....

We just returned from a perfect week at this lovely home with fabulous jetty end location. Our party of 4 adults, 3 boys unanimously agreed that this was our favorite rental spot in Wells. We have tried 4 places over the last 9 years, now we don't want to stay anywhere else. The pictures and write up featured on the website accurately depict the beauty and amenities. There are jetty-ocean views from every room. The house features a great deck and plenty of cheery space inside. Every night we would walk one house up to the harbor and watch the sunset. Just a short walk to the beach from a private path off the jetty walkway. Even a hammock for an afternoon nap. The home itself held plenty of space and it was nice to have access to 3 shower-bath combos and a huge closet in the upstairs bedroom. We mostly did our own cooking and we had everything we needed. One last thing to add, waking up in this home is like a dream, the sky layered in color with the silver ocean as a backdrop, as the boats make their way out from the harbor. Thanks Kim and Steve. Your home was everything we had hoped for in our vacation and more!

Perfect location and spacious beautiful home

This home and location was much more than we were expecting. The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and the open floor plan allowed preparing a meal while enjoying the company of your family. From the kitchen, dining, big family room and bedrooms upstairs, the views of Wells jetty and the ocean were beautiful. The patio right outside the dining area was our favorite spot to relax and enjoys the views. This place was a true winner for us! We will be back next year!

We have owned a summer home in Wells since 2000. We've have had the Windsong (3 units on an acre of beach dune) since 2003.

Why they chose this property

We love this home because it is at the best section of Wells Beach. We are at the end of Atlantic Ave at the Jetties. We have a large property, an acre of dune out to Wells beach so it is very quiet and private where we are, very unusual for the Wells Beach area. We have plenty of parking. We also have a small harbor beach next to our house with no or small waves. And we have our own private path that leads out to large Wells beach with great waves good for body surfing, surfing, walking etc...The jetty offers excellent opportunity for Striper fishing. Kayaking is great in Wells Harbor. We often see seals in the harbor from our home!

What makes this property unique

Quiet large private property with an acre of dune out to the beach. Our own private path to the beach. Fishing, kayaking, beachcombing right from our home. Wells harbor is a great place to kayak! We are situated right in between Ogunquit (5 minutes) and Kennebunkport (10 minutes) and a short distance to York and Kittery (great outlet shopping). Portland is about a 35 minute drive and is a foodie mecca destination. Amtrak Downeaster train station to Boston and Portland is in Wells.
