Quiet villa in a dead end with magnificent views of the mountains while being close to the town of Ceret (5 min by car). Ceret being known for its cherries, its artistic history (passage of famous painters like Picasso).

The villa has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet. Each bedroom has patio doors overlooking the valley. Private swimming pool, garden with vegetable patch. Terrace with barbecue. The valley has an organic farm and a small river. The village of Reynès is very nice for hikers. Several quiet paths to do. There are also a few restaurants, a post office, a few shops and a Lidl near the villa a few minutes from the villa.

The nearest important city is Ceret which has always been a favorite place for artists like Picasso. Only five minutes away with its museums, market, shops, bars and restaurants. The coast is an additional 30 minutes, with a wide choice of activities. The beautiful fishing village of Collioure is only 40 minutes away and boasts the beginnings of Fauvism. You can also go to the neighboring village, the working port of Port Vendres, with its daily fish market. Perpignan (45 minutes) and Girona (1 hour) are the nearest airports, but Barcelona is only 2 hours away.

A hidden gem

We had a perfect start to our holiday in this beautiful and quiet part of Ceret. The house is large and spacious, well equipped with a nice pool.

Très belle maison. Grande terrasse dans le prolongement du salon, agréable et très pratique avec une vue magnifique. Barbara nous a accueilli avec bcp de gentillesse. Elle est très disponible et répond à toutes vos attentes. Petit cadeau de bienvenue sur la table du salon. La maison est bien pensée, ce qui permet de passer un excellent séjour. Seule ombre au tableau et qui n'est pas des moindres, c'est l'accès à la maison. Vous pouvez amener votre voiture au pied de celle-ci mais pour rentrer, il faut monter une pente en terre et avec des pierres, non aménagée et assez raide. Pas très longue mais lorsque vous amenez vos bagages pour 15 jours les courses, c'est assez compliqué. Un escalier permettant de passer du sous-sol au 1er étage existe mais était condamné. Bien que nous ayons eu l'explication, l'accès reste compliqué et je pense que ça serait bien de le préciser ou tout simplement d'aménager cette pente....Néanmoins, le calme, la beauté du paysage, l'aménagement intérieur de la maison nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour. Encore Merci à BARBARA et peut être à bientôt.

Accepte les animaux, nous avions notre chat elle a adoréPrésicer si piscine chauffer serait bien, car ombrager donc trop froide pour se baigner.Problème avec la télé, et surtout avec internet, alors que cela faisait partis des prestations.Odeurs désagréable dans la salle de bain, problème de fuites.Rapport qualités prix trop élevé.

Maison très agréable mais la piscine aurait besoin d'un rafraichissement. L'accès à la maison est un peu compliqué (surtout pour les courses ...)et dommage que nous n'ayons pas accès au garage pour rentrer le véhicule mais quand même une belle place de stationnement. Sinon très bonne communication avec Isabelle et Francisco qui sont très réactifs.Et Barbara et sa petite famille sont au top, d'excellent conseils !!!

Très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la villa qui est relativement bien placée, très propre et très bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont réactifs en cas de besoin et très arrangeants. Le moins : les personnes qui sont en charge de l’entretien de la piscine qui passent à l’improviste et sans s’annoncer, même si ces personnes sont très sympathiques c’est un peu dérangeant d’un point de vue « intimité ».

Maison confortable et fonctionnelle. Beaucoup de rangements dans les chambres, ce qui est très pratique. Cuisine très bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu’il faut en vaisselle, plats, ustensiles…etc… Environnement très calme avec une vue sur la montagne et la nature fort agréable ! Pas de vis à vis quand on profite de la piscine ce qui est particulièrement appréciable. La piscine, la terrasse, la proximité avec la mer et l’Espagne sont des atouts majeurs. Communication tout à fait satisfaisante avec des propriétaires disponibles et qui ont à cœur d’accueillir les vacanciers dans des conditions optimales. Nous sommes ravis de nos vacances dans cette belle région.

Lovely property in great location

We stayed here three years previously and this time is was just as clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our holiday. The provision of a fan in the bedroom was a very welcome addition for the hot nights. It's in a very quiet location, but convenient for amenities in nearby Ceret and a wealth of walking options. Our only disappointment was that the bat roost that had been in the veranda roof had been blocked up since we were last there - on our last visit we had enjoyed sitting out with a drink in the evening watching the bats coming out for their night-time forays. We were also saddened by how tired the garden looked with the pots mostly filled with dead plants or a few plastic flowers, and some of the outside light fittings not working. After such a hot summer, the garden was bound to look a bit parched, but so much more could be made of the outside space to make it as lovely as the interior of the property. Despite those small niggles, it didn't detract from our stay and we would highly recommend the property as a comfortable, spacious and relaxing place to chill or as a base for exploring the region.

La villa est très bien située, à l'ombre des montagnes. Tout en étant au calme de la campagne, les différents commerces sont proches. La piscine a été très appréciée. Le logement est de tout confort et les chambres spacieuses et agréables. Je conseille vraiment cette location.

Superbe villa avec une magnifique vue, très calme. Villa très propre à notre arrivée, conforme a nos attentes. Propriétaire et personnel discrets mais présents. Superbe piscine. Gros point noir, le manque de fraîcheur dans la maison, pas de clim et pas de moustiquaire dans les chambres donc impossible de faire entrer de la fraîcheur en cette période caniculaire. Les ventilateurs mis à disposition n'était malheureusement pas du tout suffisant. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter avec la climatisation.

Je me suis se tie comme chez moi. Maison hyper propre, pratique, propriétaire à l'écoute du moindre problème. Petite panier garni à l'arrivée en ayant une attention particulière pour notre Lola(petit Teckel) Paysage grandiose, que du positif! Petit bémol, la piscine😉 Si non, séjour impeccable. pas d'accueil du propriétaire! pas de présentation du lieu loué ! aucun mode d'emploi des équipements présents ! lecteur dvd oui, mais pas de télécommande! pas d'eau chaude à l'arrivée : cumulus non allumé ! pas d'internet : prise non correctement enfichée dans le mur ! première arrivée du gaz sur la gazinière datant des années discos, très longue (petite flamme) distributeur de glaçons bloqué par un énorme morceau de glace suite à non utilisation, depuis, pas de glaçons ! séjour calme si l'on oublie les travaux de piscine d'un voisin ! sinon, tout va bien !

Un très agréable séjour en Occitanie

Nos vacances se sont très bien passées dans cette belle région et en partie grâce à l'accueil d'Isabelle et Francisco, mais aussi par la belle prestation qu'offre la maison. Nous avons été particulièrement sensibles à son impeccable propreté, son niveau d'équipement ainsi qu'aux gentilles attentions des propriétaires. Francisco a su se montrer très réactif lors d'un problème rencontré avec la piscine en faisant un aller/retour du Portugal : c'est dire l'investissement personnel que mettent Isabelle et Francisco pour que le séjour se déroule au mieux. Merci à vous deux et au plaisir de vous revoir soit à Reynes, soit au Portugal !

Un grand merci à Isabelle et Francisco pour leur accueil chaleureux et pour la propreté de la maison (+++) ! La maison est idéalement située, au calme (repos assuré), aux pieds des montagnes et à seulement 30 minutes de la côte. Super bien équipée, grands espaces de rangement dans les chambres, belle terrasse, agréable le salon le soir... tout y est. Il ne manque rien ! Il faudrait juste penser à changer la photo du barbecue gaz ;-) Nous recommandons vivement la location de Isabelle et Francisco
