Gîte La Cour Anglaise is located in a peaceful village near Strasbourg, in a large private garden labeled Remarkable Garden. It offers all the comfort you want in a refined and relaxing setting: a large lounge - living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a view of the garden, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, all in one harmonious and cozy theme. The location of the Gîte between Colmar and Strasbourg is ideal for exploring Alsace and its wine route, the foothills of the Vosges with its picturesque villages and the Black Forest in Baden Württemberg and the Europapark amusement park.

The owners, who are passionate about plants and gardens, have arranged the cottage around the theme of nature. They will be at the disposal of the hosts to visit their English garden and to detail the collection of trees, perennials and old roses, or simply to give you ideas for visits and walks in the region.

The cottage is located in a quiet dead end on the edge of meadows and fields. The village has shops and several restaurants offering traditional and varied dishes. One of the village's special features is a prestigious golf course and a nautical base.

Beautiful House and fantastic garden

The house was beautiful, very comfortable. Our hosts were so helpful. We were treated to home-grown tomatoes and courgettes which we used for 2 meals. The english garden is an absolute joy.

A little paradise!

The pictures do not do it justice! This property is beyond beautiful! The hosts are warm and inviting. If you do not speak French have your translator app handy. We do not speak French but had no problem communicating. Where there is a will, there is a way! Plombshein is a cute little town that is convenient to the entire region. There are a couple of excellent traditional French restaurants right in town but if you have a car, the options are unlimited! We loved this place and our hosts and hope to return soon!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful home

Marguerite was a wonderful host and her house and garden are beautiful. There is plenty of room for a couple to relax. The lounge has two big sofas, nice lights and satellite TV. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a new oven and lots of pans and cutlery. The bedroom is comfortable and the shower is easy to use. We also appreciated the washing machine and iron. We were able to walk around the huge garden whenever we wanted (just watch the mosquitoes!) and Marguerite gave us apples from her trees. Plobsheim is a good base for Alsace, with two bakeries, several restaurants and quiet countryside. It is about 20 minutes’ drive from the centre of Strasbourg and close to motorways and the German border. We would thoroughly recommend the property and thank Marguerite for her hospitality.

Einfach phantastisch

Alles war perfekt. Reizende Vermieter, ein wundervoller Garten, das Haus war gemütlich und in der Küche fand ich alles was ich zum Kochen brauchte. Selbst das Wetter war für Ende Oktober noch sehr angenehm, wir konnten an manchen Tagen sogar im Freien sitzen. Danke an Marguerite und Michel

Traumhafter Rückzugsort

Der Garten rund um das Ferienhaus ist wirklich ein Traum, er wird von den Besitzern mit so viel Hingabe, Liebe zum Detail und Sinn für die Natur gepflegt, dass ein wahres Idyll entstanden ist, in dem sich Körper und Seele einfach nur erholen :-) Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, ruhig und gut aufgeteilt, wir haben uns dort super wohl gefühlt und auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieterehepaar war sehr unkompliziert. Sie waren stets ansprechbar, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich und wir durften von den köstlichen Äpfeln des Gartens probieren. Auch für ein nettes, interessantes Pläuschchen gab es immer wieder Zeit. Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage! Es gibt einen großen Supermarkt in der Nähe, wo man wirklich alles bekommt, und mit dem Auto erreicht man sowohl den Baumwipfelpfad und Burg Fleckenstein im Norden als auch Freiburg im Süden in einer guten Stunde (das Fahren haben wir als sehr ruhig empfunden, wenig Verkehr, gute Infrastruktur). Wir wünschen allen Gästen dort einen tollen Urlaub und den Vermietern weiterhin alles Gute!

Wundervolle Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Umgebung

Romantische Tage in Plobsheim
