This incredible home may offer more than you need if you are simply looking for a place to sleep - but if you are looking for the perfect spot for a mini-vacation, then look no further! This is just the place to relax and enjoy your vacation or to unwind after some important business meeting. Please note, major parties and events are not allowed without prior approval. Nestled in the mountains among amazing hiking trails yet only 10 miles from the beach and just 5 miles from the 101 freeway it is a great base for almost any Los Angeles or SoCal vacation. At almost 5,000 sq ft the place is huge - white, bright and open-plan with soaring ceilings and an amazing sense of volume. Every window offers breath-taking views of the mountains or the lake below. Misty sunrises, phenomenal sunsets and immense night skies will entertain you almost every day. As you arrive, a set of automatic double gates open to an imposing gravel driveway that leads to an enormous solid mahogany front door. The double height entry hall boasts a wall of glass that opens to the crown jewel of the property; a 50' triangular black-bottomed infinity pool that appears to be suspended above the completely secluded canyon and reflects the mountain beyond. The custom concrete floor continues throughout the main level tying together the spaces into an entertainers dream. The entry hall is open to all the other main areas on this level. The great room is a very large 40'x15' space with 18' ceilings anchored by a two-sided stone-clad fireplace. A modern kitchen with high-end stainless appliances connects the great room to the formal dining room, which features a log burning fireplace and a mammoth custom 16' dining table that comfortably seats 14. And still plenty of room to set up an 'overflow' table for the kids. The other main area on this level is the 'bar', or entertainment room, in which you will find a pool table, dartboard, and a full bathroom with shower. This can be very useful as the bar-room also has a wall of glass that opens to the pool for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Perfect for evening drinks by the pool! The whole house is wired so you can stream your music to play from ceiling speakers in every area for seamless entertainment. A set of stairs lead to a mezzanine and two master suites. The 'first' bedroom is a very generous 25'x16' with a king bed and a master bathroom with spacious shower/steam room and large soaking tub. This bedroom has french doors leading to a patio and beyond that a playground area for the kids. The second bedroom is of similar size and has a king bed plus two twin beds, and, of course, it's own full bathroom. It also has it's own patio area. Both bedrooms have a fireplace and TV offering Netflix, Disney, Hulu and Amazon Prime. PLEASE NOTE two additional bedrooms (with bathroom) may be available by direct request.
During your stay I will typically be nearby in case there are any issues or questions, but don't worry - you certainly will not see me unless you want me!
