Thousand Oaks Pool Paradise—Private Home, Pool, & Free Heated Hot Tub!

Beautiful tri-level pool home in Sunset Hills. We have already hosted 120+ families since our launch Nov. 2022, all with 5-star reviews and now have joined VRBO to host and manage the property. Escape to amazing mountain views & the greens over Sunset Hills Golf Course. A retreat awaits at this lovely 3 bedroom, 2.5-bath Thousand Oaks Pool Paradise! (Additional queen sleeper sofa in private lower level game room.) Large but cozy interior with 3 separate gathering areas. Lush outdoor spaces with magnificent palm trees, swimming pool (pool heat add-on option for a fee) & free heated hot tub. A perfect rental for vacationing families & friends!

The space is a beautifully furnished home with entertainer’s backyard, pool, jacuzzi spa, and BBQ. Modern, fully equipped kitchen. Dining room with large table for 6-8. Sleeps 8 comfortably but cozy for couples looking for their own private oasis. Please give an accurate count of guests in your reservation. Adding more guests after your reservation is fine, just let us know prior to check-in (8 guests maximum.)
Where you’ll sleep:
-Bedroom 1: king bed suite with private bathroom
-Bedroom 2: full/double bed
-Bedroom 3: queen bed
-Game room: queen sofa sleeper with privacy curtain can sub as a 4th sleeping space.
-Travel crib/Pack ‘n Play for babies & toddlers (upon request) The private pool and spa are open year-round and the large backyard includes a 40" TV, sound system for music/sports on the veranda, sun loungers, and patio table for 6. Come enjoy your vacation in our private & stunning retreat.
Keypad lock self check-in. Door code sent day of arrival. Welcome Book with detailed info provided at check-in.

Pool heating add-on: 3-night minimum and cost depends on season. Please inquire for your dates. Pre-payment required. Guests will be provided a remote control to operate the spa. No smoking is allowed indoors. Smoking is permitted outside only! No diving or jumping off balconies into the pool. Visiting guests, not included in your reservation, must be pre-approved. Per VRBO and our home policies, parties/events/gatherings/etc. are not allowed.
Please help us respect noise levels with our neighbors and observe city ordinance “quiet hours” from 10:00pm-8:00am.
We supply propane for BBQ grill and 1 poolside patio heater. Ventura County ordinance no longer allows wood to be burned in fire pits. Fire-logs, however, are permitted. We don’t supply fire-logs, but you may bring your own or request DuraFlame fire-logs in advance for a nominal fee.

Pool Safety:
Per CA law, we have door/window alarms (4) on all areas that exit to the pool:

After booking, we will ask all guests if children are in your party and their ages. We highly recommend that families with small children/babies leave the pool door alarms set on ALARM or CHIME mode. Upon check-in, please check the switch on the side of each device and choose which option you prefer. We also have pre-installed slider locks on all 4 sliding glass doors that can be adjusted to lock-off access from the sliders to the pool areas or from the 2 upstairs bedrooms to the back balcony. Close to freeways and great restaurants/shopping.
One mile to CAL Lu University, 30 minutes to Malibu Beaches and Ventura Beaches. Approximately 1 hour 20 min to Disneyland, 50 minutes to Santa Monica Pier, 40 minutes to Six Flags Magic Mountain, 1 hour to Santa Barbara, & 1 hour to LAX. (Rush hour & traffic conditions may extend travel ETA.)

House manual:
Full Welcome Book/Information provided at check-in. We are happy to answer any questions after check-in and we are only 5 minutes from the property should you need assistance.

We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.
The basics:
-a valid phone number is required for all bookings and a valid photo ID may be required. -Guests will have control of the remote for use of turning the spa on & off. You may adjust the heat temperature of the jacuzzi yourself or we can adjust it for you remotely. Please help us conserve by turning off spa mode/spa heat when not in use! Instructions brochure provided at check-in on how to operate the spa mode.
-Please clean/burn-off BBQ grates after final use.
-Driveway parking & curbside street parking in front of home.
-For your safety, no glassware outside by spa and pool. Acrylic drinkware and melamine dinnerware provided for outdoors. (Rated baby safe and dishwasher safe; not suitable for microwave.)
-Lower level game room has queen sofa sleeper and privacy curtain so room can act as a 4th bedroom. -No parties or events. No unregistered overnight guests. Additional visiting guests must be pre-approved.
-Please respect city ordinance Quiet Hours 10:00pm-8:00am.
-No smoking allowed indoors.
-Please respect check-in/check-out times of 4:00pm/11:00am. Late check-out fee will apply. Early Check-in/Late Check-out upon approval (when available.)
-Please use provided coasters.
-Grub towels and rags provided in laundry area for messy clean ups. -Black makeup cloths provided for makeup users.
-If needed, cleaning tools & towels provided in laundry room. Vacuum provided in master closet. Cleaning supplies provided under kitchen/all bathroom sinks.

On Day of Departure: we kindly ask guests to do the following:
-Start one load of WHITE bath towels/hand towels OR one load of colored towels.
-Do NOT strip beds on day of departure. Our cleaning staff will handle bed linens.
-Please load and start dishwasher before departure.
-Discard any take-out, delivery, or cooked leftovers from fridge. All other items may remain. Condiments provided may remain.
-Please lock doors & windows. -Guests are responsible for damages-please notify us before check-out.
-Lost electronic key charge is $10 per key card.
