Welcome to the perfect beach location. Enjoy beautiful views and comfortable accommodations at a very affordable price. Timbercreek 18B is a lovely 3 bedroom/2 bath condominium with stainless appliances, granite countertops, wood floors and wonderful furnishings.

We book weekly Sun-Sun during the Summer season.
Every room is decorator perfect - with a delightful blend of upscale cottage decor and a few special antiques for beachy comfort. Enjoy the panoramic Marsh view from the great room and screened in porch. Expect to see heron, osprey, and dolphins!

We think you'll love our screened-in porch with casual seating, bistro table, and Pawley's Island hammock, or our great open air deck.

The bedrooms (king, queen and two twins) feature wonderful pillowtop mattresses, and luxurious bedding. The master is truly a haven with a private bath and sliding glass door to the deck for enjoying the marsh view.

TC 18B is centrally located. It is a five minute bike or golf cart ride to the beach - grocery - restaurants. The private Timbercreek pool is steps away from the front door.

Our rates include use of TWO golf carts, two adult bikes, beach chairs and towels. All linens, arrival and departure cleaning, fully equipped kitchen. For quiet nights enjoy a great selection of DVDs, CDs and board games.
Our golf carts are on a regular professional maintenance so you can enjoy worry free transport for your Island adventures.

The BHI Club - Your vacation - your choice....

The Bald Head Club provides traditional country club amenities in grand southern style, with excellent dining, playground, fitness facility, pool, (NO golf with our Social membership), tennis, and croquet. It offers wonderful children's activities in Summer.

Beautiful Bald Head Island

Lovely property in a perfect setting. Tucked away in the forest but easily accessible to everything the Island has to offer. It was our first time to the island which could have been difficult to navigate. Fortunately, Hope provided detailed information that had us getting around the island like natives. We look forward to going back....again and again.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Miller's rental. Elizabeth was a joy to work with and the island was awesome. The rental was decorated nicely and very comfortable. The screened in porch provided a good place to play cards, eat lunch, or just relax in the hammock. Our kids caught about 20 crabs from the dock in the back of the rental and we made crab dip! Overall, a very relaxing vaction and one that would be repeatable.

Enjoyed our stay in the unit very much. Open and accepting space. Great screened porch with view of the marsh. Great pool. Good golf carts. Unit stocked well with all items needed for a comfortable stay. We would like to stay their again next year. Only change we would love to see, is please change the door on the ref. to open up against the wall. It can be done on most if not all appliances. It was hard to open an then remove things from the ref.

Great condo but needed a deep cleaning

We love Timbercreek and this unit is decorated so nicely but it needed a deep cleaning. Bathrooms both smelled of mold and we had to purchase Clorox and clean them. Lots of spider webs and spiders on the ceilings that had to be cleaned up as well.

Good Clean Condo with Pool

Overall, very good experience. Enough space, nice screened in porch, and easy access to a pool (which seems to be a rarity on the island). Only downside was no access to WiFi while we were there (and unfortunately had to use a lot of data dealing with an unforeseen emergency), and some little convenient things that would’ve helped. But, it is an island. Good location: Closer golf cart ride to beach then we thought, so that was a plus,and equidistant between “town” and harbor. Overall, would consider it again.

Lovely relaxing week

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this property on Bald Head Island. I really liked the decor of the condo and the space worked very well for our family of 5. It was clean and fresh and bright and we didn't have any issues at all. My favorite part of the rental was the screened-in porch, where we ate most of our meals, listened to the sounds of the marsh, and even watched a few sunrises. We loved being able to watch the Osprey nest from the boardwalk out back and had fun with our cheap collapsible Amazon-purchased crab trap, seeing what we could pull up out of the water next to the dock and then release. With 5 of us, it was great to have two golf carts and we didn't have any problems with them. The location of this condo was convenient to all the different things we wanted to do and Hope was pleasant to work with and very responsive to questions. A few tips for future visitors: -We went to three different programs offered by the Conservancy and they were all fabulous. I would definitely recommend checking this out, regardless of the age of your kids (mine are teens). Our favorite was the night time nature exploration. -The Maritime Market is very expensive and this particular rental does not stock much in the way of pantry basics. (though there were plenty of dishes, pans, knives, etc). If you know you'd like to have certain items on hand (ie cinnamon or garlic salt or cling wrap, etc) and it's reasonable to pack them to bring, I would do so! -This rental is a lower unit. There was a family in the unit above us and I truly believe they weren't doing anything remarkable up there, but the noise of their footsteps across the ceiling of our unit was unexpectedly loud. If someone upstairs got up in the night to go to the bathroom, we all were awake for a few minutes with them! The fact they had small children who were up and on the move bright and early didn't resonate well with my teens, who would have preferred to sleep in a bit. It wasn't a big deal...but something to be aware of if these noises would potentially bother you. -The take-out pizza from the Mexican restaurant was very good! -Be sure to take in as many sunsets from the west side of the island as you can! If we were to return to Bald Head Island we would be happy stay here again...I would definitely recommend this rental to you!

Wonderful family vacation...

Great view, perfect location and all the comforts of home. Great family trip and would recommend this unit to those who have children of all ages. Pool is just outside. Keep in mind, 1st floor so may have noise from above. At times, it wa very loud, however, there is so much to do-you are rarely inside. Hope was very kind-especially after leaving our camera behind. Highly recommend the condo! Will definitely return!

Family vacation week

I had stayed here with my parents many years ago. I knew it was a good location so decided to rent it for my family of 5 this year. We were not disappointed. The place is in great shape. Both carts were charged up when we got there and worked great all week. The kitchen is nicely stocked with plates/glasses/utensils and cookware. The saline pool was well-maintained and just a few steps from the condo (one of the island residents we talked to said that this pool is the best around). The boardwalk and dock behind the condo make it easy to put in kayaks and paddleboards, and to fish in the creek. One of my kids spent a lot of time catching croakers (the marina shop has very inexpensive rod/reel kits and lots of frozen shrimp and minnows for bait). Being on the 2nd floor (above the garages but below the top unit) is nice since you have an elevated view of the marsh but only one flight of outside steps. We didn't spend a lot of time watching TV but we appreciated all the channels provided by the dish service. The big dining table is great for meals and card games. If we are able to come to Bald Head next year this will be the first place we will check.

A Winter Haven

Fantastic restful getaway retreat overlooking the marsh. The property is comfortable and very well maintained. The location is outstanding, being about the same distance to both the harbor area and the market/shops (about a 15-20 minute brisk walk or less than 5 minutes by golf cart). Having the two golf carts was ideal and all the bicycles were in good shape for rides around the island. Nice clean dog park across the street. Whether you want to stay busy or simply put your feet up and relax, this is the place. You definitely get the feeling the owners want you to have a good stay. Will certainly book again!

We fell in love with Bald Head after our first visit in 2011 for an anniversary trip. As a native North Carolinian, I have spent years visiting all of the NC beaches but had never visited Bald Head. What a treat! It is like being on a far away tropical island. My husband and I bought the condo from the Miller's who had decorated it so beautifully. We rent it most of the time but occasionally enjoy the island with family and friends. Retirement - one day!!
