The Château Lagrézette Mill is a unique holiday destination set in a stunning setting. Situated at the foot of a pond where wild birds often gather, the mill boasts an exceptional green setting.
It’s the ideal spot for a peaceful, quiet getaway with family or friends—a timeless retreat for your holiday.
As a bit of history, the mill dates back to the 15th century: Adhémar de Massaut, the builder of Château Lagrézette, converted the mill (likely a flour mill) into an “iron mill” for forging weapons. When Alain Dominique Perrin, former President of Cartier and later of the Richemont Group, and currently President of the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art, acquired Château Lagrézette in 1980, the mill was in ruins. He decided to restore it, striking a subtle balance between the old and the contemporary.
The restoration is superb, featuring magnificent furniture and meticulous decor.
Alain Dominique Perrin wanted to preserve the mill as it was originally built: the sluice system that allows the stream to flow under the mill is in perfect condition. It is currently inactive so as not to disturb our guests’ rest, but it is fully functional. Only the millstone has been removed and transformed into a magnificent round outdoor table.

The house has 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Outside, you can relax in a beautiful wooded park bordered by a charming pond.
