Beautiful Mountain Vacation Cabin, 10 Miles from Idaho City, 30 to East Boise,

Enjoy this Comfortable Cabin in it's very private and peaceful Location. No longer a Hot Tub for use, Relax or sit around the Fire pit just like your own private Camping place. Go Trail Hiking in the Boise National Forest right out the Back door of the Cabin.
Whether you Come for a couple of days or a week or two You are sure to enjoy your stay. This place sits on the backside of the Mountain below Bogus Basin Ski Resort, There is No Road Access to Ski Resort during Winter time but there is rest of the year. It is the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature, whether its Just Relaxing, sitting by a Fire pit, Hiking, Riding Atv's or Bikes, Hunting, Fishing , Boating, Jet Skiing, Snowmobiling, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, or any other outdoor fun. There is Wifi for those who need Ethernet service. Two Living rooms with T.v's and a Dvd player
This cabin is one of very few Mountain Rentals located in Nature but still close to Boise. It is Perfect for just Relaxing, Romantic Getaways, Family trips also great for Hunters, With Elk, Deer, Wild Turkey's and many more critters. This area of National Forest is only accessible to a very limed amount of people who own property attaching to the Forest Service boundary and you can hike for Miles without seeing another person or just ride your Atv or Bikes just up the gravel Road to Trail ride.
The Cabin has Granite counter tops, High ceiling, A Beautiful Balcony that overlooks the Living Room below. The custom knotty pine and log staircase really gives you a Cabin feeling.
It's sure to make you relax and enjoy your stay. The Master bedroom w/ queen bed and private bathroom is located on the top floor. The main floor has Living Room, Kitchen, Full Bathroom and a Bedroom with Queen bed and closet and front deck has two Tables/w Umbrella and chairs. The walkout basement has a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, a laundry room, and living room with couch and chairs and T.v. and Stereo. The Fully furnished kitchen has a flat top Stove and Oven, Refrigerator, Convection Microwave, Coffee Maker, Slow Cooker, pots, pans, utensils are all there for your use. Clear Creek Lodge is only 1 mile down the road from Cabin with a Bar and Restaurant for your convenience. From Nov-March 4 wheel drive likely needed for Icy road.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Start 1st load of sheets and pillow cases in washer
Wash and put away all dishes and utensils
Haul all your bagged garbage to recepticle at the beginning of the lane. (Bagged garbage only not the cans from cabin)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Any used beds striped of Sheets & pillow cases and first load of beding laundry started. All Garbage bagged and put in outside cans, No Loose Garbage
Any used kitchen Items washed and put back in place. Usable food items can be left but no leftovers, no food left in kitchen containers.

Though a bit of a challenge to find - this place was perfect for us to attend a wedding that also was in the same area,There is no cell phone service or gps so the directions given and written down were accurate and absolutely necessary. The beds were comfortable - A coffee maker is there - but one thing all guests coming should be alerted to is know is to bring their own coffee, sugar as the kitchen is pretty bare bones - and really no place near to get supplies ( that we could find) a store in Idaho City is a bit of a drive.

The cabin was in a picturesque setting and was very peaceful. It was clean and had plenty of towels and bedding. Although, you may want to pack a couple of throw blankets to use when sitting on the couch. I suggest bringing some basic kitchen necesseties (foil, spices) but there's enough in pots, pans and utensils to get by. We didn't utilize the lower level, but it seemed like a great place for kids (or loud adults) to hang out.

This was an excellent getaway spot...for us it was not too far where the kids were fidgety with the drive. We were seeking a quiet location w/ room for the kids to play and some fresh air and this suited perfect.

Beautiful cabin

The house was beautiful, loved the way it was set up and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Im a little annoyed that we got a phone call during our stay telling us that we werent allowed to use the fire pit, the one thing we were looking foward to since the hot tub is broken. It is what it is, but there should definitely be something added to the description letting potential vacationers know that "if it gets too hot outside" (its the end of may and not even that hot out) they wont allow you to use the fire pit. We went to celebrate my daughters birthday, her first one since we lost my husband last june, and we couldnt even roast marshmallows. But other than that the place was great.

Cabin for Christmas!

We had our family Christmas at the cabin this year , it was great . A beautifull cabin , with all amenities we needed . Quiet and secluded , but close enough to neighbors to help if you get stuck in the snow ( our experrience) I would deffinetly recommend this cabin .

Perfect for our needs!

Very nice, quiet cabin in the woods. We needed a quiet escape from the valley noise and this fit our needs perfectly! Literally walked out the back door and into the Boise National Forest. We hope to be back again next year. Owner/manger were responsive and helpful.

I bought and built at this location for many reasons. It is located close to Boise, sits on the National Forest Service Boundary so nothing behind cabin but thousands of acres of nature,wildlife and trails to enjoy with a very limited amount of other people. It is a beautiful location and quiet relaxing setting perfect for a getaway place.

I myself am a hunter and also a Atv rider so since the cabin location has both and abundance of wildlife and Atv trails, Creeks and Lake, It is not only beautiful and relaxing it's a Mountain paradise.
