Great little getaway cabin!

Our family loved our stay here. Clean, friendly host family, they were helpful and our kids played great on the trampoline, but they were good about letting us have our space. The horses, hummingbirds and just all the nature was a welcome break…definitely recommend if you want to get away from the city.

Easy drive. Very relaxing environment. Beautiful views. Sound of the creek behind the cabin is so nice. Nice trail down the road for a walk/hike that was beautiful with spring wildflowers. Property clean, like home. Dogs & horses a plus. Owners very friendly. Good people. We will definitely be back.

Peace and quiet

Great stay in a quiet beautiful valley. Cabin was great, very clean and well stocked. Greeted in the mornings by horses, mile, turkeys and friendly dogs. Star were beautiful at night. Host were super friendly and helpful while respecting our space. We are already talking about making this an annual trip.

Serene Retreat

My significant other and I stayed here with an adult child right before Christmas. We found the property owners to be extremely willing to share their knowledge of the area, their family history, and experiences on property with us. We enjoyed trekking in a foot of new-fallen snow, feeding carrots to the horse, snowmobiling, and watching the wild turkeys hang out at the birdfeeders. The cabin had everything we needed and provided enough privacy that we never felt intrusive. We would love to stay again during another season!

Wonderful mountain escape outside Boise

Our family of 6 - two grands, our adult son and wife and two grands had a wonderful getaway in this lovely mountain cabin. The beds were comfy, we had what we needed to cook some simple meals and the beauty of the outdoors was wonderful. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as the trampoline. We also enjoyed the pack of turkeys who came through the property as well as some elk early one morning. A place to enjoy beautiful solid and the peace and quiet of this mountain getaway.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway! The our kids loved the trampoline and the horses were a HUGE hit! The location was perfect…not to far from Boise so we were able to get to and from the cabin quickly, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. Will definitely recommend!

Tall pines. Wild turkeys scurrying across street. Deer/elk in the woods. Slept well.

Sunrise and sunset scenes were beautifulthrough the windows and from the deck were beautiful. And the big sky stars at night are just what you'd expect here. We brought groceries and cooked some great meals using the gas stove and oven. Cabin was comfortable and sitting on the attached deck was great for peaceful meditation watching the breeze tussle the aspen and poplar leaves. Horseback riding through six water crossings then up and down some challenging offtrail slopes brought us to some beautiful overlooks of water carved Lucky Peak and far-off landscapes of remote ranches. Enjoyed the 5-day stay very much!

Mountain retreat

If you want to get away from the city, this is a great place. It was nice having the manager right next door. My boys loved the trampoline. Be aware if you have a toddler, the deck is pretty high with no railing. We loved how it was tucked in to the mountain and enjoyed our hikes. It was definitely further away from the city than I expected.

Nice Cozy Cabin nestled in the Mountain

Serene, Beautiful, warm and friendly host. Cabin is decorated very nicely and apt with surroundings. Bathroom and Kitchen were adequately stocked . Instructions to reach the cabin were clear and detailed. Cabin is located near all good sight-seeing spots. Chris and Angie were extremely friendly with us. They took us around the property , kids enjoyed barn visit and were excited to see the horses. We had so much fun staying at this cabin.

Fabulous getaway to the Idaho Mountains

My three teenage children and I enjoyed our stay at the Idaho mountains cabin above Boise over Thanksgiving. We were welcomed by a couple of inches of snow, helpful property owners, friendly pups, and the owner's horses that were on-site. The cabin was warm and accommodating-kitchen well equipped for baking a turkey! We went horseback riding, found a hot spring, and just hung out and watched Netflix. All in all, very enjoyable and recommended.

Mountain views during the day & clear stars at night by the fire

Owner built rustic wood clad cabin is spectacular on the outside and just as spectacular on the inside opens up with more space than the pics show. Upmost comfortable beds for a great night sleep. After a hot roomy shower relax in or out it doesn't matter! We will surely be back with more family to enjoy this special place!

Home Away From Home

Such a wonderful cabin and right away we felt right at home, thank you Kris n Angie!! When you pull up you’re welcomed by their family dogs. As you step out of the car you take in the beautiful scenery and fresh air. Walking into the cabin you feel right at home, super clean and all the amenities you need. We unpacked our Groceries(Stopped Albertsons Just as we got off the Gowen Rd exit), next unloaded our luggage and we felt right at home. You have the option to go horseback riding, but we decided to spend the day at Robie Creek beach(which was so refreshing), loved seeing the horses roam freely on the property tho. Our evenings we enjoyed the BBQ and hanging by the fire pit and then waking up to making our own breakfast. We had 4 kids with us and they loved the trampoline, play set and even had fun playing running around with the owners kids, dogs and petting the horses. Kris and Angie are wonderful hosts and will make sure that you don’t go without. We can’t wait to go back and highly recommend booking 2+ nights. Such a treat leaving California to this sweet lil GetAway.
