Nice and comfortable stay in the quaint cottage, good information from the host who knows Yosemite very well. Decent drive to north Yosemite. Easy drive to Mariposa for supplies or to putz around the cute town.

The property was exactly as described. Very clean and well-stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Communications and directions were very thorough and accurate. Charles is very familiar with all of Yosemite and was a wealth of knowledge. This was our first experience with vrbo and we were very pleased with the whole process. Highly recommended.

This cottage in Midpines is spacious and very clean. It was a perfect layout for my husband, adult daughter and myself to vacation together to enjoy quality time together, as well as have our own private spaces. We stayed at Charles's place to explore Yosemite, and Charles provided some excellent recommendations on things to see and do in Yosemite, as well as in the area. Charles was excellent in communication and providing details of what to expect, both in advance and during our stay. I wish that the hour-long drive to Yosemite Valley were shorter, but it is unlikely that you will find a free-standing home that is any closer. (The length of the drive was accurately described in the listing). There are some motels that are closer to Yosemite, but with that comes the trade-off of the kitchen and more space. I highly recommend!

Pictures don’t even do it justice, it is way nicer in person. Charles did an amazing job with decor, you can tell there was a lot of thought put into each room. Exceptionally clean and I am hard to please in that regard. We used it as a home base while visiting Yosemite (about an hour drive) and it was a perfect location. Mariposa is only 12 minutes away for more food options. It was right off the highway but felt very secluded nestled up into the mountain. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spotless, living room adorable and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. Even makeup remover wipes and shampoo/ conditioner were provided in the bathroom. Charles was extremely helpful and responsive, he gave us amazing directions to great hiking spots and viewpoints when we asked. Just overall a perfect place, we loved it! Book this place you will not regret it

We enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. It was comfortable and just as listed. It had everything we needed to relax after long days at Yosemite. It is an hour drive to the park but it worked for us and felt good to be away from the park and relax in the evening.

Finding it was a little challenging, but directions were good. Sweet place, comfy very clean and everything worked. We all were happy with the stay - but just too short!

A great place outside Yosemite

This house was super clean and comfortable. It was a perfect stay not too far from Yosemite Valley. A great place to come recharge after amazing days in the park.
