Great Relaxing Stay

We had a great stay and loved the property. The pool was clean and relaxing and the short walk to the beach and light house were ideal. Would definitely recommend.

The space was open, fresh, and clean. We loved having the king beds, the kitchen was stocked, the unit was very comfortable and quiet. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the light right outside our window. I know it was for safety for people getting to their rooms at night but maybe room darkening curtains would be good for the rooms with the lights outside of them. The pool was warm which was wonderful in the cooler early spring weather and we used it several times over our 3 nights stay. I loved getting to stay in a piece of Tybee history.

Cute condo

We had a really great time staying at the barracks! My son really enjoyed game room in the basement and the pool. I really liked the cleanliness of the property and the proximity to the beach and playground!

Great location for north beach. Check in was awkward because the code had not been set to last 4 digits of our phone number. Had to call and Cory gave me a different number that worked. Kitchen- new refrigerator but no freezer access, they have it blocked off. Toaster was cheap made and makes sparks & flame. I reported by email. Utensils for cooking below average, cheap quality. The one beat up skillet provided should be replaced, no spatula provided. Wi-Fi was adequate. Luggage has to be carried up by stairway, difficult for elderly.

Great Location, but...

A veneer of pleasant design but not much beyond that. There was no washer/dryer as advertised. The kitchen was poorly equipped. The one useful pan was so filthy it took ten minutes to scrub clean. There were lids for no pots and no lid for the one big pan. No salad bowl. No cutting board. Dirty dishes and cutlery. A blender base with no container. A refrigerator water filter that needed replacement. Scratchy, cheap linens. Used bandaids on the floor. So all in all, not very well maintained.
