La Casa dello Scoiattolo - Peace and tranquillity in the green heart of Cortona

La Casa dello Scoiattolo, in the hillside of Cortona, embedded in the greenery of pine, cherry and acacia trees, but only five minutes drive from the city centre, allows you to immerse yourself in a peaceful environment, with shops and restaurants close at hand.
The location is pretty unique, in the heart of the Sant’Egidio at 750 meters on the sea level (you won't need air conditioning!). You can enjoy a beautiful sight of the hill of Cortona and the Trasimeno Lake. It’s an ideal base for visits to the charming nearby cities of Tuscany and Umbria: Arezzo, Siena, Perugia, San Gimignano, and a great starting point for excursions in the countryside at the same time.
The property is bounded by a fence, which ensures privacy for the guests, and has an automatic gate and a large space right in front of the house where you can park your car.
You can relax by the swimming pool and enjoy a stunning view over the valley from the solarium. Nearby the swimming pool a barbeque is available.
The house is cosy, comfortable, and has a family atmosphere. The ample and luminous living room has two comfy sofa. The kitchen, with lunch table, is spacious and complete with new burners and oven, dishwasher and a large fridge.
You can eat in the both the kitchen and the living room. But, at least once, have a nice dinner outside enjoying the sunset.
The house provides accommodation for up to eight people in four bedrooms: one with a double-size bed at the first floor, one with a three-quarters-size bed and two twin rooms at the ground floor.
In each floor there is a bathroom: the one at the ground floor has a bath-tub, the one at the first floor has a shower stall.
Satellite TV and washing machine are included. Wifi is available on demand.
