Hidden gem in Hidden Valley

It is all right there! Beautiful house, beautiful view, boat launch, beach and an off leash dog park for the best friend. Wonderful visit, wonderful time, relaxing and a spectacular view! Just right for our family weekend getaway!

We had a great weekend at this house on Lake Whatcom! The host was nice and accommodating. The house is BEAUTIFUL and huge. We had plenty of space for our large group of 10 people 1 dog. Entering the front door, the main floor which has the pool table room, dining room, a living room, and main kitchen. That floor also has the large master room bath, and a small office that is easily used as a bedroom (with bath) if you don't mind the pull-out couch. Downstairs on the lower level is three more bdrms. There's a second master bedroom on the lower level with an en suite bathroom, and two more bdrms with a shared hallway bathroom. On the lower level is also the theater room which is amazing. The house does not have A/C and could use more/better fans for sure but it is clearly stated in the description and it cooled down at night. Nice house, a few quirks

Spacious house in a nice neighborhood. With the windows open some noise from the golf course. Well appointed kitchen. The lighting system is atrocious and needs to be replaced or at least simplified.

What an amazing house!

I would high recommend this property for a group. There was plenty of space for everyone and great spaces to hang out in. Normally when we rent a house and it says it sleeps 10 in reality that means people on sofas. Not the case here! It was raining during our stay, I can only imagine how much fun it would be in sunny weather!

Ver nice house!

Overall a nice place for all of us to gather. We happened to be there during the super hot weather, there is no AC, but fans were available and used. There was plenty of room for all of us, the deck was nice and we used the grill so we wouldn’t heat up the house. The house is next to a golf course so we were entertained by some players, although apparently the golf course is mowed everyday (@ 4:30 in the morning)! A few people in our group used some of the facilities and it was nice to have that option. It is a beautiful area and we all had a great visit!

Thank you so much for staying at my rental property. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed the property and all the amenities the home and the community have to offer. The golf course maintenance usually takes place every morning, but never that early. However, every year Sudden Valley is the host to the largest two-day men's tournament in the state of Washington and during this two-day period, the lawn maintenance happens to take place before the sun comes up. I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience.

Beautiful view and beautiful home. It was very clean and host was very responsive.

Beautiful home and breathtaking view. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The home was very spacious but we were expecting 4 bedrooms and it only has three and the fourth was actually an office with a pullout couch which is not what we rented so the ad needs to be clarified that its not four actual beds. The checkin time says 3 but we weren't allowed to check in until 4. Also, i thought it was odd we had to water all the flowers and plants. I was on vacation and i didn't feel like it was my responsibility to water the landscaping because there was a lot of potted plants and they were pretty but thats not my responsibility and if it was something expected it also should have been told before booking and not a note left on the counter for me.

Every year, I love planting flowers and displaying them on my amazing deck. Planting flowers and displaying them for renters brings me pure joy. I absolutely love it! I plant these flowers for my renters, and it breaks my heart that this renter did not appreciate my efforts. When renters stay for an extended period of time in the summer, I sometimes ask renters if they wouldn't mind watering the potted flowers. If this is an inconvenience to renters, I will send someone over to water the potted flowers on the deck. However, most renters don't like to be bothered during their stay, so most renters don't mind watering a few flowers. There is no landscaping that needed to be watered, so I'm not sure how to respond. There is a fourth bedroom, the four bedroom has an attached full bathroom, this room is not an office, it's a bedroom. The bedroom has a brand new, very comfortable sleeper sofa with a queen size mattress. The check in time is 4pm and has always been 4pm, but the renter requested a last-minute early check in. I would have loved to give an early check in, but this property is 5000 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, 2 kitchens, 1 office, 1 fitness room and 1 movie theater. This property takes me at least 8 to 10 hours to clean but I always do my best to make each and every renter happy.

We had a great time! Lots of room. Lovely deck and big kitchen to hang out in. It was nice to have the walk in pantry to tuck all our food supplies in. Also we discovered if you pull from the top of the fridge handle it was a little easier to open it. Be prepared for a little bit of a hike to get to the lake. The built in sound system was nice once my techie husband figured out how to connect his Spotify to it. Bring eye covers if you like to sleep in, windows just have sheer blinds. Or get up early and sit in the hot tub watching the sun come over the hillside. The movie/gaming room was a nice bonus too. I would stay here again!

Beautiful home with plenty of space for a extended family weekend. no need to relieve the property as everything is there. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table in the theater room was amazing.
