Loved the in-town location, and with all the trees around a view to a grassy area, it felt like like it was more remote. Quiet and everything was just as listed. Unit contact was very responsive to a couple questions we had during the stay. Would definitely stay here again.
Really enjoyed the layout, location, and convenience of this property. Only suggestions would be to upgrade toilet seats and TVs. The sound proofing between the 1st floor bedrooms and 2nd floor master bedroom is not so great but not much you can do about that. I would definitely rent this property again.
So overall rating….beds were comfy, house a little dated. when we arrived. toilet water was stale shower water was milky. it seems like no one have gone in or out, in months. downstairs was freezing! heater was not operating properly, you can feel the difference in temperature, when walking between flights. seems as if the cleaning crew didn’t do a clean sweep. we found other parties belonging inside the couch. thanks
I want to say the place was great. We stayed in the village for years but have gone back to the old town where the food choices are much better and we walked to everything. The bus stop was right there and it took us to main each day without any problems. The place was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the table with 8 chairs, we had 6 that played games each night so loved that.
I would say the only negative about the place was the main TV was rather small and the wifi wasn't great but we survived.
On a side note, the jacuzzi was not functioning due to no propane. The massive amount of snow around the complex prohibited them from filling the tanks but we understood that, what can you do when you have an epic snow year!
All in all the place was great and would definitely go back! Thank you!
This unit was generally comfortable, spacious and clean. One major drawback for three working professionals was the DSL wifi. As someone who has stayed in Mammoth upwards of 15 times, I know a better internet is available for condo units. I will say that when I contacted the property manager about it, I was responded to in a timely manner, but with a message that Mammoth internet can be slow. The DSL wifi was the slowest and most inconsistent wifi I've been on in over a decade. If the owner would upgrade this, I'd return for sure. I hate to highlight one issue, but this is very important on my list, so I thought it reasonable to share. The rest of the unit checks practically all the boxes.
This condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Our kids are older, so the layout of master on the upper floor and two guest rooms on the lower floor was fine for us, but I might have been nervous putting younger kids down there alone, since they both had patio doors and were next to the main entrance.
We had a great stay here. The location was very nice and clean and had been updated. The visitors in another condo came over and were impressed compared to theirs. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only issue I had was that it was creaky and we could hear whenever anyone walked around, especially at night. Not a show stopper at all but if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs.
Awesome stay, close to town and the track, had a great time. We did notice a broken cabinet door upon are arrival..just wanted to make sure the owner knew about it.
we rented the same spot last year, we liked it a lot to rent again.
We like the accessibility to the street and closeness to stores and places to visit. The place is very clean and roomy. If not mistaken the fireplace seem newer, and warms the living room fast. The amenities are modern and is overall a great place to stay.
We had a great time staying at this property. It was easy to access and the perfect space for a family of 6. The home was cozy, clean and spacious. It met all our needs. Would definitely recommend!
The home was very clean and well kept, was perfect for our needs for a few days. The host's communication was prompt and clear.
The Villa de los Pinos condo complex is the best in town, with the courtyard great for dogs, kids, etc.
Only downside in late August - the pool was freezing! 68 degrees...brrr!
We really enjoyed our time here. Everything was as it was stated, and the cabin was really cozy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and it was a great location to the Village. Would highly recommend!
Our family of 5 travelled from San Francisco to Mammoth for the first time hoping to hit the slopes over the New Years holiday. Mother Nature didn't cooperate, but we found ourselves home at this property and found plenty to do including the new roller coaster at Woolly's Adventure Summit.
The unit has plenty of space, a huge couch for watching college bowl games, big enough dining room table to serve us all and the fireplace heats the upstairs extremely well to the point we started using less logs. The property is a 2 minute drive or 10 min walk from Von's market, the movie theatre and Giovanni's pizza which is really good. Turn right on old Mammoth Blvd. on foot instead of left towards Von's and you run into a walking path that takes you into a valley with views of the surrounding mountains. On New Year's Eve, we simply walked out the door and across the street to grab the free shuttle to Mammoth Mtn. Village to watch the fireworks. Joanne is a fantastic host who was available via email and text and answered our questions promptly. When we return to ride the mountain with better snow we will absolutely stay here again, hopefully very soon. Thanks Joanne!
All in all a good stay. The location was great and right across from a shuttle stop. The place had a lot of beds and was plenty large enough for our group to feel cozy. However, the place was not well cleaned. Dirty pan in the oven, hair in drinking cups, hair balls in the sheets and dust strings hanging from the ceiling. And the thermostats were all set at 45 degrees when we got there at 9pm! The house was only heated to 55 degrees by the time we were trying to go to sleep. Should be left at the very least at 60 degrees for incoming guests.
