About this property
Valley Cabin located 5 miles from Bozeman-Yellowstone International airport
Welcome to Valley Cabin! This home was built utilizing beetle-kill lodge pole pine salvaged from the local mountains. It sits on 21 acres of alfalfa farm ground with a 360 degree view of mountains. It is often frequented by whitetail deer and other native wildlife. Hand hewn and beautifully crafted; it is meticulously scribed with Swedish scope and saddle notched methods.
The Great Room boasts a 22 foot tall cathedral ceiling. The full kitchen includes ample counter space. A stunning handcrafted log bar centered between the kitchen and dining area draws your attention. The master bedroom is a spacious 20x20 feet with cathedral ceilings and a gas stove to give you a warm glow after a day outdoors. This room includes queen, full and twin size beds. Store your gear in the large entry closet. The laundry room has a washer, dryer and tub sink. A full bath rounds out the custom circular design of the main floor.
A log stairway leads up to an open balcony sitting area with three bedrooms providing a dormer style charm and includes a full bathroom. Two rooms have queen sized beds, and a third has a full sized bed.
There are two outdoor decks: one off the kitchen with a gas BBQ grill, and one facing southwest to relax in the sun and enjoy the view of the Spanish and Hyalite peaks. Enjoying the sunset from here with a beverage after experiencing the great outdoors is highly recommended.
This property is conveniently located only 15 minutes from the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The greater Bozeman area boasts a wide variety of amenities. This includes dining, shopping, many micro-breweries/distilleries and coffee shops. Visit exhibits at the Smithsonian-affiliated Museum of the Rockies, check out the historic Ellen Theater or stroll the Montana State University campus.
Located between Big Sky Resort and Bridger Bowl ski area makes skiing the “cold smoke” easy, or enjoy the many hiking trails. There are four Blue Ribbon trout rivers close by. Less than 100 miles to the north and west entrance of Yellowstone National Park makes for great wildlife and geothermal viewing. Other local attractions include the Lewis and Clark State Park and Caverns, or check out ghost towns and gold panning at Virginia City and Bannock State Park. Local hot springs and great public golf courses abound.
The owners live on property in a lovely hand-crafted caretaker’s cottage. They have been married and lived in the area for almost 40 years. They have a wealth of local knowledge to share with you.

Charming log cabin with all amenities, excellent host. Was an amazing experience in Bozeman, close to everything easy to get to yet secluded to enjoy the surroundings! Definitely would love to return
This was our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed it very much. We are already planning on staying here again next year!!The property is clean and well stocked.
As advertised with family friendly accommodations. Kids are 8 & 10 and had fun playing provided card games and playing outside. We were in town for Montana State graduation and it was nice to be out of town a bit from the hustle & bustle. Clean and functional for our part of 7.
Could not say enough good things about this spot. Such a beautiful location and so much space for our family to run around and have fun. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
Fabulous property. Beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. We hosted brunch for family who lives in the area and everything we needed was in the home. Enjoyed our stay.
Excellent home for a family vacation. Home was clean with spacious bedrooms. Enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen with the large dining table, allowing us to eat together.
Our group of 8 stayed at this beautiful log cabin. The location and accommodations were great for our long weekend in Bozeman attending graduation activities/events. Check in/out was a seamless process. We would happily stay here again.
Why would anyone stay in a hotel when this is available?
From the teepees in the yard to clean towels in each bedroom this is the home for a family to stay. Located just 10 minutes from the airport but tucked away from busy streets this log cabin provides comfort and convenience. We hope to return again.
The pictures do not do this place justice. The house was very spacious for our entire family, with room to spare. It had everything you could possibly need and the location was close to many attractions. The host was very communicative and responsive.
Four couples fit nicely into this lovely log cabin. The views were fantastic, watching deer and turkey with scenic mountains behind. It was in a quiet area, but town and restaurants were only 10-15 min away. The owners were great communicators, helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend!
This property was the best!! They had lots of hooks in the bathrooms, hangers in the closet, & equipment in the kitchen. I have stayed in a lot of Vrbos in Bozeman and elsewhere and this was the best equipped!! It was a beautiful location!!
Perfect place for a ski trip if you plan to ski both Big Sky and Bridger Bowl. Easy drive to each of them. Short drive to the airport as well.
It’s a rustic place that fits right into the Montana character with wide open views of the valley. The hosts are great people, who actively check in with you to make sure all is going well and you have what you need to have a successful trip.
Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended. We will come again.

We stayed here for four nights with our three children to kick off our trip to Yellowstone. I can't say enough good things about the property which was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Outfitted with everything we could need, it was a great location - not far from the airport or downtown Bozeman with tons of dining options and shops.
I wasn't ready to leave! Highly recommend!
My daughter got married in Bozeman. We needed a place to serve as a family gathering and home base for all the wedding festivities. This property exceeded our expectations. We were able to put finishing touches on decorations, feed or family, open gifts with the new couple, and rest comfortably.
