Hartstene
My family has been visiting this island for over a decade now, we have stayed at this cabin for a few years of that time. It is a cute, clean cabin with just the right amount of what you need. Anything more and you wouldn't enjoy everything the island has to offer during your stay. We never want to leave! It hard to come back to city surroundings.

Quick Beach getaway
This house is a good size for a couple or small family (2 kids). It’s a cozy house in the Harstine Point community, and has all the essentials. This is a quite beach community with excellent beaches and trails. You will likely be spending a good deal of time exploring the point or just looking at the gorgeous views from the Spit. It’s quite a round the house, there is some construction currently but we did not find it bothersome. We have been to this community before and it consistently is neat, tidy and well maintained. This is a nice clean house for a reasonable nightly rate.

Beautiful weekend
It was just what we needed! A true getaway in this little house surrounded by trees was just it. The water is really close. Lots of walking opportunities. Kitchen was great and beds were comfy. There was a power outage while we were there - would recommend packing some flashlights in the winter months. We loved how simple the house was. We will definitely come back and likely bring our kids next time.

Awesome and peaceful place to stay, enjoy and unwind!
Cabin was clean, cozy and welcoming with plenty of amenities in and outside the cabin (bikes need a tune-up!). Perfect place for my wife and me to relax and disconnect from tv and internet. The cabin is tucked in the thick woods. While there are plenty of neighbors, they are barely visible through all the towering trees and are super quiet. The residents/visitors are always waving and friendly. So much to see and do within a short walk from the cabin. Hiking on the trails, the spit, the beach or just the streets provided breathtaking views of the canal, woods, Mt. Ranier and wildlife including seals, herons, eagles, crabs, jelly fish, sand dollars and the friendliest, most docile deer ever encountered! A sign at a trailhead indicated a recent cougar siting, but thankfully we did not encounter one! We were informed some orcas were spotted by other residents/visitors a couple of days before our departure, but as hard as we tried with the remaining time we were there, we did not see any...but they are there! Clubhouse was clean and with plenty of activities/games/books from which to choose. We enjoyed a couple of table tennis games inside the Clubhouse and playing "CAT" on the basketball court outside it and next door to one of the 2 tennis courts in the community. We also enjoyed lounging by the pool during the spectacular weather experienced during our stay. Kim was courteous, friendly, informative and responsive through VRBO messaging as well as via text messaging. She was especially helpful and patient when we had a very minor glitch getting through the gate upon arrival. She was also very patient and willing to help us with a lost item we thought might still be in the cabin after our departure (but wasn't!). Customer service before, during and after was terrific. Wish we would have met her in person! A long summary but only a few words wouldn't have described it well enough! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations! Highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable respite!
