Stunning view of the mountains from the balcony! All glass windows, so you can see the same view from inside. The cabin was as pictured . It was very clean, great location, close to town. We even had a bear walk around our deck one evening and mosey on off to the woods. That made the stay even more memorable . I would recommend this cabin . Planning to come back in the future ourselves.
As the description indicates, it is an outstanding view! The cabin was very cozy and having two master bedrooms it was perfect for us. We each had our own privacy in the evening. The view was beautiful but it would be very helpful to be able to pull a shade down in the morning. Sun gets that area very toasty.Lighting could use some help. The way the lights are it doesn’t always provide light to the degree needed.Again, wonderful cabin, easy check-in, and host responded quickly to questions. Would like to stay here again!
Great view! Loved that we had access to an activity center ( pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and workout facility). Easy access to the Smoky mountains and close enough to down town Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We saw bears every day from our deck.
The floors were uneven, and we wondered if that was because the building of a cabin DIRECTLY next door has disturbed the ground. Also, the mattresses need to be replaced. It was a 2 bedroom cabin, and we tried to sleep in the back bedroom, but the mattress was too worn and we couldn't sleep there. We went to the front bedroom and the mattress there was also on its way out, but it was better than the 1st one.The cabin is in a great place and it is clean, but these changes must be made for it to be a VRBO and for the money that we paid.
The hot water in both showers was either to hot to use or not hot, hard to adjust. That is the only thing that we had a problem with. The stay was awesome with the view of the mountains and every day we had bears around the camp. We didn't bother them and they didn't bother us. It was nice watching the babies cubs play.
We've stayed at other cabins in Gatlinburg and this is by far our favorite! We saw lots of bear during our stay and such beautiful view from the cabin. Highly recommend!
This cabin is easy to get to on the mountain roads with a lovely view at the unoccupied mountain across the valley. We were far enough away from Downtown to enjoy a quiet night while still being able to see the lights and access the main road in 15 minutes. From the direction you approach downtown, the Gatlinburg trailhead in the national park and downtown strip are the same distance away. It was big enough for our family of 4 while giving some cozy nooks and areas to play and spend time together.
What A View was spot on! The view is breathtaking! The only reason I gave it a 4-star rating was because the shower curtains had mold on them, and the beds were horrible. Overall, the cleanliness was great, except for the shower curtains. I appreciate them having a starter kit of toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and dish soap. Also seen a lot of black bears right in the back yard.
I have stayed in various cabins in Gatlinburg over the past 30 years. This cabin is by far the best one!!! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. You will not regret staying here!!!!
Wonderful 2 bed 2.5 bath cabin. Clean, well stocked, and a majestic view. Pool table, reading loft, and hot tub are nice touches. Would stay here again.
