It was picture perfect! Could not have asked for a better view to drink coffee and the kids LOVED the hot-tub. PERFECT location right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin. We would be happy to have you stay with us again!
We stayed here to do some touristy things but we didn’t want to have thousands of people near us all the time. This was between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and couldn’t have been a more wonderful stay and still very close to attractions and shopping. It was quiet and just as advertised. We used the laundry, kitchen and hot tub and beds were comfy. Everything was perfect. Great stay. Totally recommend!

Thank you for your review. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. We would love to have you stay with us again sometime.
This property was great. The view was really nice. We were hoping for it to be a little more secluded. Neighbors are very close. The cabin itself was very cozy. Needed to be dusted tho. There was a lot of webbs and dust all over. But well worth the stay.

Good location to visit PF and Gatlinburg. Cute cabin. Lots of potential. Needs a deep cleaning. Dusty corners and many cobwebs; inside and out. No spatulas to use. Nice that it had an ice maker fridge. No view. But had a nice screened back porch. Would have been nicer had it had a couple of ceiling fans on it. Could use some curb appeal and some pretty living flowers and greens to dress it up. Good water pressure. All appliances worked well. Comfortable beds.
We would stay again.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad to hear you had a wonderful time at the cabin. We would love to have you back! Being in the mountains, cobwebs can appear overnight. However, we would have been more than happy to send housekeeping out again! We would have also been more than happy to bring out additional utensils, if you needed them.
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much. It was very spacious and peaceful. All of the customer service agents I spoke to.m had great personalities and were very helpful and friendly, whether it was by phone or email. I couldn’t think of a single thing they could have done better.
We also made use of the Xplorie free tickets to a few fun things. They were very kind as well, even when I changed dates multiple times for different events due to weather. Great personalities, very thorough and helpful.
The property was more spacious than other cabins we have rented and we really enjoyed our time here. It is set back in the woods a bit but still has a few cabins on either side of us. That being said, we neither saw nor heard our neighbors not once and that was awesome.
We were very happy and everything was in good working order.

The location is really great as it is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The house feels very private despite being near other cabins. This cabin is nice, but it is quite dated. It could definitely use a facelift. The property managers were really awesome and quick to respond when we arrived to find the hot tub was drainined and not working. Someone came the next day and replaced the entire motor. He was VERY friendly and helpful. Internet service is pretty much non-existent so keep that in mind. We were in town during the wildfire outbreak in Wears Valley and did not have internet service to figure out what was going on around us. We only received emergency alerts regarding evacuations so that was a little scary! If you're looking for a secluded spot, this is a good one. Very pretty views.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed the location of the cabin. We welcome feedback so we know where to make improvements. We would love to have you stay with us again sometime.
We had a fun time staying at Top of the World. It was a good, not great cabin. Very charming but definitely in the rustic category.
Cons:
- Check in was 4pm. Cleaners didn't show up until we did, about 340pm and were out of there in 20 minutes. Given current climate we understand people are understaffed just about everywhere. An occasional deep clean could help to mitigate some of these staffing issues.
Deep clean: The place (my guess is all of the locations) needs someone to come in every 2-4 weeks and do a deeper cleaning. Remove all cobwebs and dead bugs outside and in (including inside the outdoor lamps). Dust all over everywhere that wasn't an end table, coffee table or countertop. Deep clean needs to include all higher surfaces.
- Update with newer bulbs - some lights were warm white, some lights were bright white. This created some odd lighting, or some lamps didn't work at all.
- Replace wallpaper that is peeling off.
- Replace both chairs in living room - they are uncomfortable and worn down. Not as comfortable as dining table chairs. That bad.
Pros:
- Bathrooms were clean as was the kitchen.
- Kitchen well stocked with utensils/pans/pots etc and allowed us to easily cook for half the nights we were there.
- The cleaning staff were friendly as heck - they couldn't have been nicer even though they didn't have the time to properly clean.
- Upstairs bedroom jacuzzi tub worked great and was clean as well.
- Outside deck hot tub worked great
- AC worked great
Just some tweaks to the cleaning process and some minor updates could make this top notch. I would not stay here if you have asthma and dust/allergen concerns. If fixed/ otherwise, yes.

I am sorry you didn't have a perfect stay at Top of the World, we do strive to make every guest experience a memorable one. We did go back and look at the camera's that are outside the cabin(the parking lot cameras) and it does look like housekeeping pulled up at 2:50, and departed right at 4pm. We also checked the tracker on housekeeping's vehicle and it shows the same thing. We also see that you pulled up at 2:40 and were there when housekeeping arrived. We do state that check in is at 4pm, and the cabin was ready at 4pm. Maybe your time was on a different time zone. However, housekeeping was on the property for an hour and 10 minutes. The couch and love seat are less then 2 years old, I will definitely let the homeowner know about your suggestions. We welcome all feedback good or bad, because we want to know where to make improvements, so thank you!
Adorable cabin. Great location. Only issues were limited to no wifi/internet access. Kitchen appliances need to be updated as well as shower heads.

Thank you for your review. We will request the cabin owner checks for updates they can do at the cabin. Wifi can be touchy in the mountains due to most of the cabins are on satellite wifi or mifi boxes and they loose signal at times especially if there are high winds or storms. We would be happy to have you stay with us again sometime.

No heat
We rented the cabin in March, had a winter snow storm. The incline to the cabin is very steep. Wouldn’t recommend during snow/ice months. Would be very difficult getting to and from cabin. Our issue, was the heat not working. We called the emergency maintenance line, (which was late in the evening about 10:30-11pm) we were told no one could come and to find a hotel for the evening. No offer to pay for a hotel room just left us to fend for ourselves in 12 degree temps close to midnight. With no where to go we stayed in 48 degree temp in the house. Next day, they had someone come out to inspect / fix unit. All they could get running was the “em heat” which we were told will not heat up the whole house. And that evening temperature would drop to 18 degrees. We were told we could check out and be refunded for the evening, but we had no place to go. We asked for space heaters or something to get us by. The company was not worried about helping us at all. Then told us we needed to leave anyway since we had a young child , they didn’t feel comfortable with us staying in “.those conditions”. The whole experience was horrible and we ended up leaving the trip early since we had no where to go. I would not recommend using this managing company. They didn’t care. Only about their money. Really unfortunate experience. Manager was on vacation and hasn’t even contacted us since then. No one apologized or anything. Pretty upsetting.

Our after hours emergency line received your call at 11:20 pm stating you had no heat. They spent the next hour calling every heating and air company in town to try to get someone to come out. After an hour of being unsuccessful, they called you back and they suggested you get a hotel room and you would be refunded for the night. Our hands were tied at this point. If no one is answering our call, then we have no one to send out. We did not have another cabin to move you to otherwise we would have. The most we could do was refund you for the night and as suggested you get a hotel room so you could stay warm. The cabin was 2 miles from the Pigeon Forge parkway that houses over 50 hotels as well as 4 miles from Gatlinburg. The next day, our office received a call from you stating you had stayed overnight in the cabin. We would NEVER suggest a guest stay in a cabin with no heat especially with a child. Therefore, we did not feel comfortable allowing that the following day either when the heating and air tech came out and said the unit had a part burned up and it would need to be ordered. So, we once again requested you get a hotel room with a refund. We let you know what he had reported and you asked to stay the night again in the cabin with a refund. We could not allow you to stay in the cabin with no heat. You have a child and that would not be morally or ethically appropriate and just wrong for us to suggest or allow such a thing. Therefore we did not and told you we could not allow that. This situation was completely out of our control. There was nothing more we could have done to rectify the situation. We apologized numerous times. We are in no way all about the money, otherwise we would not have refunded you. We feel we did everything we could to fix the situation and stand by our decision in refunding you and suggesting a hotel room.
The cabin my family stayed at was clean, well situated, close to town and had all the amenities necessary for our comfort. The check in process was easy and quick. I hope to visit again, some time soon.
