80th Normandy Anniversary

Very pleased with our stay. Very clean and well maintained. We had a slight communication issue with the property manager but used a translation app to work through it. The villa is centrally located and very quiet. I would highly recommend this location.

Great Location for the Normandy Beaches

Excellent property, well located near Utah Beach but no more than a hour to the furthest one (Sword). Communication in advance and check in was perfect, Georges is extremely helpful. The house is immaculately clean, and well appointed. Very rural, no bars/restaurants in walking distance, but we knew that from the listing and enjoyed the peace and quiet. If we come back to Normandy we would happily stay here again.

An absolute gem

We had a lovely stay in this property. Georges who met us is a sweetheart. The place was spotless, comfortable and in a peaceful location. Little extras like washing up liquid, washing detergent and oil and mustard in the kitchen made such a difference. Games, Internet and info on D-Day were all there too. Highly recommend

Perfect in every way

From start to finish this cottage was perfect and genuinely there was not one fault. Both my daughter and I are very much into the history of D-Day and also WWII in general and we could not have been better located for all aspects of this. The cottage is on the outskirts of a small town meaning it's close to amenities etc but away from the hussle and bussle of a town. Close to Utah Beach and an easy drive to all other landing beaches and other places such as Bayeux. The owners and the manager they employ to run the house are really kind and good people who do everything they can to enable guests to have the best stay possible. I really can't recommend this cottage enough it's just perfect.

Gîte charmant et confortable

Joli gîte, bien décoré et très propre. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Georges. La maison mitoyenne était vide donc pas de nuisance sonore. Très belle vue sur les marais et les oiseaux. Points négatifs : chauffage électrique mis le matin de notre arrivée, il a fallu plusieurs plusieurs jours pour avoir une chaleur confortable. Le poêle à bois était cassé. Nous aurions aimé avoir l'information en amont car nous avons réservé ce gîte justement pour cet équipement. Néanmoins mon conjoint a réussi à réparer temporairement le tirage et avons pu profiter de 2 ou 3 feux durant la semaine. Un bémol donc pour la précision de l'annonce et information/communication en amont. Départ trop tôt pour nous (max 10h) mais le logement étant a priori loué le même jour nous respectons ce délai pour le ménage à faire même si nous avons laissé le gîte au plus propre possible.

Nous sommes tout d'abord ravis que vous vous soyez plus à La Bocagère. Nous sommes étonnés de votre remarque sur le chauffage. Les radiateurs sont récents et capables de surchauffer les pièces. Désolé pour le poele à bois, un client précédent a cassé un empattement et ne sera réparé que semaine prochaine.Par contre il fallait éviter une réparation de fortune. Vous avez occasionné des dégâts sur le joint..

Logement très propre, bien équipé et proche des sites d’intérêt.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine au gîte la Bocagère d’Henri. La communication pour l’arrivée et le départ est facile. Le gîte est très bien équipé. Il était très propre à notre arrivée. Il est situé à proximité de plusieurs sites historiques et des belles plages du Cotentin. Très belle région. En résumé, une semaine parfaite. Merci !

Gîte 👍. Suggestions:Juste tête de lit chambre lit 2 places bruyant…tient au mur . Portes chambres bruyantes car ferment mal ,portes voilées et serrures bruyantes. Une clef pour véranda où il y a télé pourrait être bien…pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Sinon on avons passé un agréable séjour…voir très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé un agréable sejour dans le Cotentin.. gîte propre et agréable. Un extérieur entretenu, accueillant. Rien ne manque. Merci à Justine pour son accueil. Gîte, idéalement bien situé pour visiter le musée du debarquement d'utah Beach, ste Mère Eglise, carentan, st Vast, cherbourg a 30 min avec la visite de la cité de la mer.

Maison très agréable.

Maison bien équipée et bien décorée, il ne manque rien. Les extérieurs sont très agréables et très bien entretenus. Nous avons été bien reçus par Justine. La proximité de la voie rapide permet de facilement visiter le Cotentin, la présence d’une épicerie dans le village permet d’aller chercher son pain à pied ou à vélo. En cherchant un peu, il est également possible d’aller à Carentan et à Utah Beach à vélo tout en évitant les axes routiers. La seule petite ombre au tableau est que la maison est mitoyenne et que les voisins ne semblent pas le savoir. Il faisait très beau, eux comme nous vivions dehors, heureusement que le grand jardin arboré nous a permis de nous éloigner un peu pour retrouver le calme des lieux. Ils ne sont pas restés sur la totalité de notre séjour, la deuxième semaine a été plus agréable.

Bon logement bonne situation

Très bien situé pour visiter les sites de la seconde guerre. Le musée situé tout près est très bien et plaît aux enfants, à faire absolument avec toute les attractions, permet une bonne introduction au séjour et connaître l’historique des événements du lieu. Le logement est très bien équipé, tout y est. L’accueil a été très sympathique.

Séjour 1 semaine à la Toussaint

Charmante maison bien au calme pour s'isoler le temps de quelques jours avec un poêle pour réchauffer nos soirées de novembre. Parfaitement placé pour visiter les différents lieux et musées du D-Day. Merci à l'accueil de Caroline très à l'écoute et aux propriétaires.
