Holiday in Normandy

We had a wonderful stay in the property, would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere relaxing in a beautiful location. The property host was very welcoming and helpful, we would definitely book to stay at this property again.

Quaint Normandy

This place is EXACTLY what I had always hoped country Normandy would be. Our host greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful. He spoke little English but we worked it out without any problems. It is in the country but only a 15-20 minute drive to plenty of good restaurants. Very near St Maire Eglise and the airborne museum. Reasonable drive to the Dday sites. Bayeux would be a little more centrally located but I wanted country livin. I do suggest a dinner in Bayeux. It is a beautiful town. The apartment is large and beds were comfy. Nice breeze and around 65f at night so perfect for leaving the windows open to sleep. The stairs to get up to the apartment are a little steep. We are already planning a trip back and will stay here again if we can. Be sure and throw the ball for the dog!

L'appartement, au premier étage, est tel que présenté sur les photos, vaste, bien équipé et relativement moderne. Nous n'avons aucun bémol à apporter à notre séjour. Le jardin est aussi très sympathique et parfaitement conforme à ce que nous en attendions. Le fait que nos hôtes résident au même endroit ne pose aucun problème, ils sont tous charmants et de bon conseil. Notre chien a aussi beaucoup apprécié son environnement. Nous conseillons vivement cette location, y compris si vous avez un animal. Pour être exhaustif, il convient de signaler que l'escalier pour accéder au logement peut être un peu raide pour certaines personnes et la Wifi aléatoire. Pour tout dire la connexion était très difficile. Considérant le rapport qualité-prix de cette location, c'est toutefois peu de chose.

Die Begrüßung durch die Nachbarin war sehr herzlich und man fühlte sich sofort willkommen, sie war durchwegs sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der eigentliche Besitzer scheint gesundheitliche Probleme zu haben, wir haben ihn nie gesehen. Bei der Unterkunft waren leider ziemlich viele Mängel sichtbar. Viele Möbelstücke sind arg in die Jahre geraten und teilweise kaputt, viele Lichter/Beleuchtungen gingen nicht (Küche über Herd, im Backofen, Minilampen unter der Dachschräge bei der Küche, Spiegel neben Dusche und Licht in Dusche), der Staubsauger ging ebenfalls nicht. Grundsätzlich ließ auch die Sauberkeit arg zu wünschen übrig (viele Spinnweben, schwarze Hundehaare lagen überall (vermutl. von den Vormietern?). Von Quineville lassen sich super die Landungsstrände der Normandie erkunden, was wirklich top war.

Bij deze accommodatie moet je zijn ! Wij hadden en super vakantie ( 3 weken ) en we gaan zeker terug. De rust, de omgeving en de ligging is voor ons perfect. Daarbij gaat alle lof uit naar de eigenaren ! Eerst doen ze bijzonder voorzichtig en houden heel veel rekening met alles om je privacy te waarborgen. Na een rustige overwinning van een kleine taalbarrière vloeit de gastvrijheid uit alle hoeken. De liefde voor dier , mens en welzijn spat er vanaf. Ook de interesse voor onze huisdieren viel meteen op, deze staan gelijk op de eerste plaats. Hun hond Nikita , een heerlijke goedzak komt altijd even bij je kijken en of spelen. Bij aankomst staan er al drankjes in de koelkast om bij tekomen van een lange reis. Het appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en voldoet ruimschoots aan de verwachting. Dit loopt in perfecte harmonie met het naastgelegen vakantiehuis. In de ochtend verrast met verse eieren. De ruime tuin goed onderhouden en helemaal afgesloten. Strand niet ver, heerlijk schelpen zoeken. WiFi is altijd lastig, maar ach. Hun organisatie die zich inzet om zieke kinderen een vakantie te gunnen, typeert hoe deze weldoeners in elkaar zitten. Joanna, Jacques en Alain, duizend maal dank voor deze unieke ervaring. We houden contact !! MAGNIFIQUE
