We rented this same condo 10 years ago and loved it. I was delighted to find it was on vrbo this year when we decided to visit Sun Valley again. The location is great and we found the condo clean and comfortable for our group and for the most part well stocked with linens and toiletries. Each bedroom having its own bathroom plus a powder room in the condo is such a plus. We very much enjoyed the large deck with its great furniture and nice fire table! The livingroom has plenty of comfortable furniture and is nicely decorated. A couple of suggestions: This time of year there are a lot of little houseflies that get into the house and we were constantly irritated by the flies.There needs to be some type of trap to catch the flies.The water pressure in the downstairs king room bathroom shower is very poor. It was almost impossible to rinse the soap out of my long hair when I washed it. The kitchen needs to be better stocked with dish towels, there were only 3 older ones. A magnifying mirror would be nice in the bathrooms for us women to apply make up. There are no USB ports of any kind in the condo so you need to bring an adapter to plug your charging device into a wall socket, which is a hassle in this era. The mattresses in two of the bedrooms were in poor condition. The mattress in the upstairs king bedroom has no support and all three mattresses in the room with two twins and a queens are not very comfortable. Despite these issues we had fun and rent again if updated.

Wonderful Property

This house has all ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom. There is also a hall bathroom. Each room is very comfortable and private. The master upstairs even has its own sitting room right outside, or this can be a kids tv room. One room is all the way on its own end and it has 3 beds in it. Big kitchen and dining area and island. Patio is huge! Fire table , big dining table and grill. Second time staying here and it cannot be beat. Ten min or less to the resort and to downtown. Walking paths everywhere.

Elkhorn Springs Retreat Unit 13

This condo was beautiful and very well-equipped. The only complaint we had were the window coverings in all of the bedrooms. Since there are other condo buildings right across the way from that unit, the window shades didn't give us the privacy we needed in the evenings...especially because the two primary bathrooms did not have doors for additional privacy. We also came prepared (from previous guests' reviews) with eye masks for the morning light coming through the window shades.

Beautiful, spacious & well-appointed unit

The space was wonderful, lots of living space, both inside with two gathering areas and the deck space was wonderful. The kitchen is so nice and really well stocked with appliances, dishes and spices. Beds very comfortable. Love that the unit is accessible with two bedrooms on main floor and elevator access. The listing says two parking spots, but the owners use one of them, so this is inaccurate. We had emailed the property manager ahead of booking to confirm the parking, a we were traveling with three grandparents, and were reassured about the spaces. However, the check in confirmation was clear it’s only one spot. When I reached out for help, the property manager said, too bad, not outlet fault, go park at the pool…which was too far of a walk for the grandparents.

Buyer Beware of Vacasa

The morning after we arrived I could not find the ammenities passes anywhere. I reached out to Vrbo and Vacasa in an attempt to locate them. They stated that I should check all the drawers and cabinets in the entire unit. I did and was unable to locate them. They responded that the owners of the unit chose not to renew their amenities membership in May. Vrbo and Vacasa never reached out about this change. On the contrary, they sent me a document on June 8th requesting all of our (guests) names so we would have our own passes. I called Vacasa and voiced my confusion. Instead of helping mediate the issue, they stated that the unit listing never had amenities (pool, hot tub, and tennis courts) listed and that we were lying. Thankfully I had screenshots of the original listing and sent them to Vacasa. They stated they would review it and get back to me. They never did. I eventually called back and was told I would be getting compensated, but they would not tell me how much until after I checked out, or they would relocate us. Throughout this debacle, I was put on hold multiple times and these conversations lasted a long time. Let me be clear, we would not have booked this apartment if we had known we would not have access to these amenities. It was a complete bait and switch. The unit was also damaged. The blinds in the upstairs bedroom were completely torn down, which gave zero privacy since there was no bathroom door. Construction debris and beer bottles were on the patio.

BEWARE!!! We arrived very late on Saturday night. Check-in was easy. We woke up the next day and wanted to hit the hot tub. I could not find the ammenities passes anywhere. I could not shower during the day since the workers could see right inside. On the patio there was trash strewn about (beer bottles, construction debris) and the counter of the fire pit was broken. On Monday, I reached for a cutting board and the entire shelf crashed down because a previous guest or owner decided to hold the broken shelf up with said cutting board. There are also wires hanging down from the roof. I took pictures of the damage, since I was extremely scared we would be charged for this. I cannot stress enough how terriblly unprofessional and disorganized Vacasa is. If I were the owner I would be very concerned with how they are managing the property. Do not book from Vacasa.

Beautiful home with everything you need

This home is huge with plenty of comfortable space. The deck alone was amazing for enjoying sunrise and sunset. Beds were super comfy everything was super clean. Kitchen also had everything we needed! Would highly recommend. The pool and amenities were amazing too! Parking super easy! The only challenge we had is we are a family that sleeps in a 68 degree home and you couldn’t adjust the thermostat below 72 per directions from the owner. Not a big deal but worth noting if you have trouble sleeping in warmer rooms.

This home is very well appointed and furnished. Everything that we needed was right there. A spacious condo with plenty of room out on the balcony. Excellent location in Elkhorn situated across the street from the pool, golf club and tennis/pickleball courts. I would highly recommend to anyone for a great stay in Sun Valley!

Wonderful Property for Large Group

We recently had a family reunion in the Sun Valley area and rented this condo for a large part of our family. It was absolutely perfect for our group. Wonderful indoor and outdoor space to socialize and connect. It is easy to get to Sun Valley and Ketchum. The kitchen is fantastic for a large group. We were very disappointed that the pool right across the street was not open during our stay and we were not alerted to that from the owner. We have already talked about renting this condo again.

Elkhorn Stay

My family really enjoyed our stay, plenty of room, nice bedrooms, great beds, plenty of space, different sitting areas, comfortable furniture, etc. The deck is huge, and hammock was a nice touch. Easy in and out of the garage for parking. If there are guests, there is plenty of room across the street to park. All the amenities you need are provided. We didn't end up eating any meals but breakfast in the condo, The one change I'd make if this was my place is to add curtains to the blinds. With the blinds closed, I'd guess about 50% light penetrates to the bedrooms which means if you are a light sleeper, you'll be awake at 5am with the sun. These are not blackout rooms if you are used to that. Not a big deal in the winter when the sun comes up much later All and all, a great stay and experence at Elkhorn Springs

Great place - finicky electronics

Rooms were clean and spacious. TVs, especially in bedrooms, were finicky. They would blink out requiring some finagling to get them back running. Wifi was bad.
