Beautiful area and wonderful home to stay in while in the Mt Rainier area. The entire place was clean and well maintained, with a well stocked kitchen. The host was great and communicated very well. I would stay again when in the area and recommend especially to those with families or pets.
Great place, perfect for what we were looking for over the long weekend. We did have what we suspected is a bear encounter, in the morning after our first night the dumpster was knocked over and the sole trash bag was ripped up, so fair warning, but it was never a problem.
Wonderful house and amazing location. The layout of the house was perfect for us. The communication with the owner was easy and responsive. The sound of the river was so peaceful and the view from the deck was great! Great stay! Would highly recommend!
We had a great time at the chalet. Our 2 toddlers loved the bunk beds and all the toys that were there to play with! The kitchen had everything and more you’d need to cook a meal. We even got to make smoothies because there is a blender. The creek right outside the house was so peaceful. With little kids you’ll have to stay out there with them as it goes down a little steep and rocky to get to the water. Only one tiny note: It would have been great if the bunk bed room had blinds or curtains as the sun came through the windows pretty early and wakes up little ones. Do make sure to put the garbage away as instructed as we did hear something (probably a bear) knock over the big garbage bin one morning. We would come back for our next Mount Rainier adventure. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
We greatly enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful, clean, and unique! Felt like you were staying at cozy mountain cabin. The kids loved the bunk room and were thrilled with the Wii, toys, and games that were provided. The host was quick to respond and very helpful! We would love to come again sometime! Great location, close to Packwood and Mt Rainier National Park.
Would recommend. The river next to the cabin is memorable. The cabin is approximately 30 miles to the Paradise entry point for Mt. Rainer. The kitchen has all of the necessary tools. We felt very comfortable.
Felt like home we had such a comfortable stay, we shall be returning and overall we loved it! And thank you for sharing your home with us and letting us experience it with the family.
The cabin was very easy to find and easy to access. It was set up perfectly for a pet friendly cabin with dog bowls, poop bags, and a crate. It was very clean. We have stayed at multiple rental properties in the past two months and the beds at this cabin were by far the most comfortable. The host was very professional and responsive when needed. The proximity of the cabin to town, the mountain, and beautiful views surrounding it are perfect. We would highly recommend this property to others to stay!
Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location. We loved the deck, the river sounds and a peaceful, quiet place to relax. Close to Mt. Ranier and Mt. St. Helen's to cross amazing places off our bucket list. Great host!
The property was great for a weekend getaway with family. Great amenities for young kids. Great property, fantastic location, would definitely go back!
Everything was clean and lovely. Karsten was always quick to respond when we had questions. The views were spectacular and location was perfect for days at Mt. Rainier.
