Two Week Stay

The home and lake were beautiful. The place was very clean, and the views were amazing. We had requested a quick check-in as our plans had suffered a significant change and the owner was so accommodating!! We enjoyed our time at Lake Wedowee and love AL!

Heaven on Earth!!!

The house was better than described!!! From the moment we pulled in front, we were blown away!!! We wanted peaceful and serene and it’s exactly what we received!!!

Perfect Lake spot

Barbara was very responsive. It is a little hidden gem . Comfortable for a family . The pool and lake combined was perfect. Super close to everything. I’m wish we had brought a little wagon to pull up and down to the car. It would have been helpful . Thank you for a wonderful week . We hope to return .

Pool was great but...

Be aware that the rental is for the lower level of the house ONLY. Also, the dock does not have a ladder for swimming or anything to tie a boat off. It was a very clean, nice home and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool.

Beautiful lake getaway!

The view is amazing and the pool is just the best! We brought our kayaks and that did not work on the property. When I reached out to the owner she gave us a close alternative to put them in the water. Everything else was just perfect!! The lower level of the house is a good workout but so worth it. The living space is clean and very nice. The outdoor space was just the best! I would definitely love to rent this property again!

If a pool is a must, then go for it. The apartment was very clean. Appears no one has stayed here in a while, it just seems sorta unkept outside. Weeds 2' tall growing up in the flower pots around pool, etc. As for Privacy, 6 cameras pointed specifically at the pool area is a little much, and disrespectful for those staying here. The Dock on the lake is very small. Most of the lights outside around the pool don't work so its very dark. Again if a Pool is a must, you can deal with the other issues. Lake Wedowee is a pretty place.

A great week at the lake!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake house! It’s a beautiful home that is very comfortable. The pool was a big hit! Access is easy and it’s only 10 minutes from Wedowee or 25 minutes from Oxford. We definitely hope to be back next year.

Great house and lake, very small town

We loved the house and loved the pool and loved the lake, but had a difficult time finding places to eat that were open (especially sunday thru tuesday) in the town of Wedowee. The good news is that there is a grocery store in town and the kitchen at the house is lovely so we cooked a lot and had a great time. Thanks to Barbara for quick responses to our questions.

Lakefront Vacation

Clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, nice bathrooms, plenty of space, nice deck, very nice pool, nice grilling area with fridge, bar, grill, smoker, sofa, nice view of the lake. No washer or dryer so plan accordingly if staying a week. Excellent place for us to enjoy time with our granddaughters. Very relaxing.

Excellent family home

Everything about the house was perfect. We never booked through Vrbo before so we had lots of questions that got answered by the owner. The kids beyond enjoyed the pool. The view was wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation I recommend this house. It's very small but the only thing we wished was that the town had a little more to offer.
