Welcome to "Sol Mate", an oceanfront 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home. Amazing and unobstructed Atlantic Ocean views and just 12 steps to the sand! Come enjoy our spectacular home and create amazing family memories at Sol Mate on Holden Beach!
This home has been completely remodeled and is new to the rental market. It has all new appliances, furnishings, flooring, HVAC, exterior siding, windows, doors, paint and decor. With 5 themed bedrooms including 2 King ocean front master bedrooms, 4 queen beds and a twin bunk. 3 bedrooms have private and updated bathrooms with two bedrooms sharing a remodeled jack and jill bathroom. The home accommodates 14 people.

This home features large furnished decks on both the front and rear of the home offering both sun and shaded seating. The living, sitting, dining and large kitchen share unobstructed ocean views out of the 12' sliding glass doors.
The updated kitchen features tons of storage, large storage pantry, 8 ft. island with seating, appliances including a secondary beverage center and a bevy of extras such as a blender, mixer, waffle maker, panini maker, griddle, Kuerig and full suite of cookware and utensils, dishwasher, disposal, microwave and smooth top electric range.

Other features include outdoor shower and rinse station, whole home WiFi, board and card games, record player and albums and brand new 49" Roku Smart TV's in every bedroom. The living room contains a bluray player, high end sound bar, Super Nintendo Classic (2019 model) with over 20 games for some classic fun on the 65" Roku Smart TV. Just bring your cooler and your beach towels!

Just a few short blocks from the main town square and access bridge, the property allows easy access to both on and off island activities. Easy walk to the bridge, basketball courts, restaurants and pavilion.

Beautiful home, great amenities. Perfect spot for a “Covid” vacation... quiet, virtually empty beach. Coming over the bridge the little beach village looked more than adorable. I gave it 4 stars because hurricane Iaisis (sp?) hit a few weeks before our stay. On arrival the house smelled pretty bad (mold and/or mildew)one bedroom was inhabitable. Luckily, we didn’t need the bedroom. We called property managers and they never addressed the issue. After raising a/c, by the next day, the smell was virtually gone... except that bedroom.

It's a great house in a great location. Plenty of room for our family and we enjoyed our stay. The game room does not have an entrance from the main living space - you have to go outside to enter it, but we did have fun in there. The Wi-Fi was terrible - didn't work at all on the second floor and cut in and out a lot on the first floor.

Peaceful and secluded beach getaway

The beach house was very clean and comfortable. House was easy to get to and the view of the beach is breathtaking. The community is safe and not saturated with any condominiums or hotels, just private beach houses. Very few people on the beach which made family beach time relaxing and enjoyable.

Great stay and well equipped kitchen!

We stayed at Sol Mate with our young daughter and my parents and it was great. The ocean views were wonderful and it was so nice to have it right in our backyard. My mom kept commenting on how well stocked the kitchen was and having many utensils and plenty of cook-ware made meal time much easier than it has been at past places. A prior review mentioned that sand was easily tracked in so we brought our own stick vacuum. A few quick cleanups throughout each day kept the place sand-free (or almost!). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Sol-Mate to friends and family.

The Perfect Getaway

This house helped make for the perfect week at the beach! As soon as you walk through the front door, your eyes are immediately captured by the beautiful ocean views. So many wonderful memories were made that will never be forgotten. Not only was the house warm and inviting, but it also had wonderful amenities. We truly had a wonderful time and plan to return!

Great family beach house

The beach house was great for our family of adults and children. The proximity to the beach was awesome and the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. The house was very sandy and there were a lot of crumbs and food pieces in the kitchen when we arrived. The little stick vacuum provided did not work well. The cleaning company came to clean again within a few hours. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. I would consider renting the house again but will bring rugs to capture the sand because the vacuum doesn’t work well.

We loved our time in Holden - this house was perfect for us! Lots of room, beautiful view and the location was perfect. You can't beat being able to sit on the porch and watch the sunset then walking right out to the beach! We will definitely return.
