This is a perfect location to get rest and relax. This little farmhouse is a sweet place !
I would recommend this site and little farmhouse to anyone who wanted a quiet get away in a peaceful location. My grandchildren loved the little house and so did we.

Wonderful visitors... the house was left immaculate. Highly recommended travelers
Cute old farmhouse set in a private area away from town. We loved being surrounded by cattle and the owners were very kind. The home was perfect, beautifully restored and simple. Only 30 mins from the outskirts of Austin and 20mins to Killeen. Overall loved our stay!
Great old cottage peacefully set in the country. Very quiet and no city noise. It was pretty cool to stay in a house that dated back to the 1890's. Loved it!
Oh the stories this little cottage could tell of the past! It was peaceful and quiet..just like I yearn for in my heart! Animals always make me smile! Leis & Mark are great hosts and we were able to stay an extra night. The cottage had everything we needed.
The picture in the bathroom was our favorite.
They also sell fresh, grass-fed beef! Yums! Thank you!
Nice small cozy little get away. Your really away from everything except maybe a few cows. I was in town for a wedding and really enjoyed staying here. I never watched TV my whole time here.
15 minutes away is small town, Liberty Hill. I found great places to eat here, with outdoor seating, live music, and great food.
One thing to note, this is really a great place to stay for any amateur astronomer. I regret not bringing my telescope along. There is one light on the property for the cows on the west side. It is a good light, does not project up and pollute the night sky. It is totally obscured on the east side of the house giving you a full view of a very, very, dark sky. I could make out even the dimmest of stars in the constellations. I was also there on moonless weekend. The stars were out in spectacular display almost as good as some of the dark sky parks. If your in the city anywhere in the area, I highly recommend as a nice star gazing get away. Also they have wifi for any electronic scopes.
My daughter and I stayed in this cute cottage for a quick trip to the hill country for a wedding. Everything was wonderful. We loved the sweet cows that greeted us across the fence as we had coffee on the front porch. WiFi connection was excellent. Such a cute place!
. Wonderful house had everything we needed. Hosts were super helpful in giving us ideas of where to great food locally, plus we enjoyed watching them working the cattle ranch. House was clean, adorable and very comfortable, very happy with our stay. we hope to come back soon
Our stay was very comfy. The long horns were very pleasing to see early in the morning and at sunset. The Hostess Leisel was awesome! and communicated well. We will certainly return again.
Photos represent the accommodations well. Polished, simple, VERY comfortable interior. Loads of firewood for evening fires. A well-appointed kitchen makes for easy meals. Owners were responsive, helpful and friendly. We look forward to returning.
I just slept there. I was worried that the bed would not be comfortable but it was adequate. The shower had dirt around the edges and when I drank the water it had rotten egg or sulfur smell. For the the amount I paid, I think it was no bargain

thanks for the feedback, and oportunity to improve.
I had asked the cleaner to AJAX the showerbase hard the day before your stay., as the hard water makes it very yellow looking. I can only assume the ajax residue didnt get completely washed down the drain, as it does look almost like light colours mud powder when i use on my showers. I will make sure they redo it and poor water from the other end to wash it down this time. Thanks so much fior the heads up
I know these booking sites charge a small fortune over holiday weekends, sorry about that we give them free reign to vary the price around their smart algorythms
We loved the country atmosphere and view. The hosts Leis and her husband were super friendly and really wanted to make our experience the best. It was nice to watch the cows and here all the animals in the mornings.
Mark and Leisel were terrific hosts, generous with information about the property and quickly responded to any difficulties. The home itself was well-appointed, comfortable, and clean
I really enjoyed my stay at Leisel’s place. It was a very charming house and the views were great. Set back on the end of the road, I was never bothered by any traffic noise. I loved hearing the roosters in the morning from a distance. It was very clean and well ventilated. You can tell they put a lot of work into this home (which looks to have been built before 1950). I love these kind of homes. Extremely simple check in and out. I will definitely stay again when in the area!

Thanks Sarah! You and your fur babies and even your Horse are always welcome to come stay. Hope you arrived home safely
It was such a joy to stay in your farmhouse. Waking up to the he sound of cattle in the pasture was reminiscent of my childhood when I would stay with my aunt and uncle on their ranch. I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for comfort, peace and relaxation!!!
This guest house is at the end of a long lane, several hundred yards from the nearest neighbors. It was very clean and orderly. A/C works well. Would have liked more paper products and softer beds.
