Great location

The house is located in a great location with easy access to the beach as well as the center of the city. The house is very charming and provides a fantastic view on the sea.

A PERFECT home to share with friends

Our best friends met us on our honeymoon while we were traveling through France and I booked us. Micheal’s house to share and it was perfect. We absolutely loved the view and the space. It was very easy to check in and check out wnd communication was perfect. I would recommend this spot to anyone and hoping we can return as well!

This was a beautiful property, with a terrific view of the Mediterranean sea and the garden courtyard. It was a little difficult to get to/find and there are a bit of stairs to get to the main floor, and then the second and third floor for the bedrooms. My main caution is that if you have heavy bags it can be difficult. Also, we drove and it was listed as having parking available, but it did not have parking available and we had to use the public parking on the street. Once you find a spot, it may be 1/4-1/2 km away from the house and then you dont want to move it. Over-all I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it. As I said, the view was great, there was a lot of space, we used the washer and dryer racks. The main shower/bathroom was good, the beds were comfortable. We didnt have access to the thermostats, but we could have messaged the host to adjust. The bus route to the Vieux port is right down the street as well.

Vacances sur la corniche

Séjour très agréable, avec un logement très bien placé et une superbe vue. Michel a été très accueillant. Je recommande ce logement avec toutefois une réserve pour les familles avec bébé, au vu de l’escalier sans protection, et de la rambarde extérieure.

Très agréable logement

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Michel. Le bus 83 qui passe devant nous amène directement au vieux port ou au stade vélodrome. C’est très pratique et devant la maison. La baignade est possible devant la maison depuis les rochers ou à quelques minutes de marche pour trouver une plage. Nous recommandons.

Maison splendide, emplacement idéal !

La maison est très belle et très agréable à vivre, la vue mer est splendide, les commerces et restaurants sont proches, la plage de sable du Prophète est à moins de 10 min à pied. Michel connait tres bien Marseille et nous a fourni une excellente liste de de restaurants, visites, commerces, etc.

Beautiful house in Marseille

We had an excellent stay at Michel's house. The house itself is comfortable, beautiful and well appointed. We particularly appreciated Michel's thoughtful recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Marseille. We only wish we had more time!

Lovely architectural home with stunning views over La Corniche

We travelled in April for one week with our 1-year-old child. We found the house very well located. There are a few convenience stores 5min walk away from it, including a bakery, a fruits and veg shop, a pharmacy and a butcher. The house comes with a very convenient parking spot, and has a beautiful orchard garden. The views are absolutely stunning, it feels like a little paradise in the middle of the city. There was all the equipment we needed for our stay. The house is not the most childproof if your child is just walking, but this wasn’t a problem for us. We also found the house a bit chilly as it’s exposed to the wind and we were unlucky to have pretty bad weather during our stay - again, this may not apply to you if you’re travelling in sunnier times. Michel was very responsive and very easy to coordinate with. He sent us a lovely email with a lot of very useful information in it - such as restaurants (sadly not open because of lockdown) or things to do. Overall we were very happy with our stay, and would book again if we were to come back.

Séjour à Marseille

Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété à deux pas de la corniche. C'est une belle maison complètement rénovée (et avec gout). Le rez-de chaussée comporte une grande pièce à vivre en style loft avec la cuisine et salle à manger en « open space » et une belle terrasse pour déjeuner à 6 personnes par beau temps. Le premier étage comporte un espace bureau (avec un petit balcon) et la chambre à coucher parentale avec une grande salle de bain avec baignoire et douche à l’italienne. Finalement, le second a un grand lit, un canapé-lit et sa salle d’eau. Michel, nous a ouvert sa demeure principale pour notre bref séjour à Marseille avec grande amabilité. Tout y est (sauf pour une télé). Malgré sa proximité à la corniche, la maison procure beaucoup de calme et repos garantie.
