House was roomy for our party of 12. Everyone said they had great sleeps. House was clean. Property was an easy walk to University of Washington and down to restaurants on the water. Would definitely stay again
We stayed with my parents and extended family (6 adults and 3 teens) and it was a great size, we all had plenty of space, and the neighborhood is great, with a coffee shop and restaurants within walking distance. Great place to stay!
Host very easy to work with, and responsive. Place was immaculately clean. Very nice, open, with a lot of light. Nice to have a parking spot off the street, plus more on the street. Comfy beds, lots of closet space, and bathrooms. Great for our group of 6, family 2 friends!
Perfect house for our party of 6. Beds were comfortable, location was amazing, and they even had the heat on so we didn't walk into a cold house on a rainy day! Very communitive and friendly. Made for an awesome trip.
We had a very large group and several vehicles. There was plenty of interior space for all our needs. And although we didn’t use the driveway there was lots of off street parking making it very convenient!
Everything was perfect at the house. We had 6 ladies and 6 bedrooms. Every room has a very nice queen sized bed. The house was clean and in a great location. We all loved the window ac units. The only reason for the 4 stars on the location is that 40th Street is a very busy street. With the window ac units on, you could not hear the traffic at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The check in and out procedures were super easy too! Thank you!
My family enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the nearby cafe, the comfortable beds. House rules seem a little harsh-- no shoes inside? My siblings - in their 70's -- must wear orthotics at all times. No food in the living room? Is that necessary? Other than that, everything was fine.
This property is close to the University of Washington and is located in a lovely neighborhood. Older home with modern updates. For those that enjoy walking, the area offers lots of opportunities. We enjoyed a neighborhood café that had great coffee drinks, pastries and cookies. People are friendly. Short driving distance to the downtown area and quick access to interstates. The only suggestion would be for the manager to list upfront that a house rule is no wearing of shoes in the house. This is difficult for older people not used to going sock or bare foot. Possibly advise to bring indoor only shoes / house shoes. Overall the house is beautiful and the manager was great to work with. Our family would book this property again in a heartbeat!
We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was spotless, with hotel-quality linens and well-stocked bathrooms full of fresh towels. The kitchen had everything we needed—great appliances, cookware, and even kid-friendly plates and cups. It’s an ideal setup for multiple families, especially with the two high chairs provided and a park just a short walk away. Most importantly, the host was fantastic—responsive, reasonable, and very supportive throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again.
location great, cool old house, fit our needs well. Only wwird issues was the thermostat needing a pin which was a little communication issue but was resolved pretty quick. its an old house so kinda noisy for littles trying to sleep but not bad. They should think about hiring someone to come fix general issues though, the house seemed like it was kinda falling apart in some areas. flooring, drains, doorknobs etc.ine for u
I can hardly find a thing to complain about. The neighborhood was really nice and walkable. We had all the rooms we needed and were comfortable. Some of the rooms were a little colder than desirable and we never figured out the thermostat, but there were extra blankets and we were prepared for winter weather, so not a big deal.I was especially happy that the kitchen was well stocked with all manner of utensils, cookware, and sufficient dinnerware for our group. We cooked several nice meals and leftovers/snacks.Overall a great rental and I would use it again!
Great House, could use some new sheets! they were clean but old and mottled. The downstairs rug quite old. This house is currently undergoing an ant invasion which we continually cleaned up in kitchen and bathrooms
Delightful neighborhood, well stocked, all and all a wonderful stay!,Amy Brown
It was comfortable staying here and the digital door lock was easy to use. We found quite a few hairs that were not ours upon arrive and some ants. Other than that it was awesome, we'll stocked with things we needed, lots of amenities, quiet at night.
The house is pretty amazing inside and very comfortable.
When we arrived the house was VERY warm...I wish they AC (all window units) had been turned on before our arrival. But once they were turned on they had no trouble cooling off all but the basement (where there is no AC that I could find).
I did wish several times that there was at least a TV in the master bedroom. There was one in the living room and one in the basement, but very nice and large...but requiring one to be in a family area to watch.
The view out the rear windows is amazing, especially at night.
I did not communicate much with the host, but when I did they were very responsive.
