We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday at this cabin. It was everything she wanted and had enough room for everyone and even her fur babies!

The cabin was very cozy and perfect for our week-long stay with friends. Very quiet surroundings with serene views of the mountains. It had everything we needed to cook meals and the information provided about our stay was detailed and clear.

Thank you for staying with us at All About the View. We appreciate your feedback regarding the cleaning and apologize that it wasn't up to your standards. We will review this with our housekeeping team so we can make improvements. We hope to host you again, soon!
Had a wonderful, fun and relaxing stay at this cabin. It is exactly as pictured with that gorgeous view over the mountains. We enjoyed a nice dinner we cooked on the gas grill on the deck. TV was a smart tv which was great since we could watch the SpaceX launch on the YouTube app. Beds were comfortable and clean. The location of this cabin is great and conveniently right off the highway. The drive up the mountain is pretty much all grovel with sharp curves and some steep elevation for 10 min so be prepared for that. We had no issues getting up and down but something to be aware especially in the winter. The only issue was that the hot tub was halfway empty when we got there so we filled it up a bit to realize it looks to have a leak possibly so we did not get to use it. I did call the guest services number and reported the issue. A fun thing to do in the summer is to rent a boat at blue ride lake or nottely lake. We rented a pontoon on nottely (only 35 min drive from cabin) and it was a great time. We absolutely loved our stay at all about the view and would recommend it highly to anyone, as I’m sure they will be looking into the issue with the hot tub. Thanks for a lovely stay! Looking to return in the future!

Thank you for staying with us! We are so glad you enjoyed your vacation. Thank you for letting us know about the hot tub. It has been fixed. We can't wait to see you again! Escape to Blue Ridge
We absolutely loved our stay! It’s been a year and I’m still thinking about wanting to go back. We found the cabin to be very well maintained and clean. It had everything we could want from the TV/game room to the screened porch. The hot tub wasn’t working properly and they sent someone out right away who got it working. The only negative was the drive up the mountain on our first day in the rain. It was nerve wracking, but worth it once we saw the AMAZING view! I will definitely go back someday.
The seats on the chairs at the dining table were loose. My daughter’s finger was smashed due to a loose seat. This issue was mentioned by someone from a previous stay. The refrigerator was not very clean as well as the kitchen sink. Having several large baking sheets would be a plus. Everything else was really nice.

Very Disappointed/Over Used, not well maintained. Dirty, Dusty, Dirty Bedding and no additional.
I am Sorry but I do not Believe the reviews on this property that continually say it clean. The cabin it worn out, needs a full upgrade/refresh. The Management company is not maintaining the property. We stayed for 9 days and did not have any replacement sheets or towels and NO blankets, the one we did find was dirty, and they tell you to not use the Quilts on the beds. Trees were cut down for the view and just left laying there dead. Air conditioning vents were covered with dirt and pet hair, no filters in place, No Towel bars in any bathroom and shower curtains were Moldy. Kitchen cabinets were beat up and under counter sink was all Moldy around the top. They did not provide enough basic supplies for a 9 day stay. Pack your own spices and stuff, none in the house if your plan on cooking or BBQing. Fireplaces are turned off during summer… Living room furniture is worn out and dining chair seats move and are not attached completely. Washer and dryer do not work properly and very loud if you at the cabin when it running. Shame I can’t post pictures of our stay.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us. We work hard to make sure each guest has the best experience. It hurts us to know that your trip wasn't that absolute best it could be and we will work hard to make sure we address your concerns and improve our processes.
I can’t say enough about this cabin! The view was amazing, it’s so quiet! My family (2 adults, 2 kids) had an amazing time and tons of activities around Blue Ride and Helen. Property manager answered my question right away. Only thing I would point out is to definitely make sure you have a good vehicle to get up the road (steep and lots of sharp turns) but they did some paving on our last day which made the road that much better. Definitely will be back in 2022, maybe sooner!

Disappointed
Unfortunately the home was dusty, worn down and not cared for. We had to spend the first day cleaning as it was so dusty and minimally cleaned. Dishes we all dirty, the deck had wasp/bees nests in the deck posts, the outdoor fire did not work, cable did not work, windows had no screens so it would be dangerous to open with pets, the presentation was poor with cords hanging everywhere and cob webs throughout. Hair in the shower when we arrived. The list goes on. For the money we were disappointed. The view was amazing but that’s about it.
I have never left a negative review as I know it can be detrimental to the renters but I felt obligated to help those who are looking.

Thank you for staying with us. Thank you for your feedback. We will work on this list. Escape to Blue Ridge
This cabin had plenty of room for my family of six, which can be hard to find sometimes. The views are excellent, and it’s very peaceful up there. The cabin really did have everything we needed; sometimes kitchens leave a bit to be desired, but this one had all the utensils we needed to cook full meals. Bedrooms were nice, I think the two king beds were a little softer than the queen master bed.
The games and puzzles there were fun to do, and my kids loved the movie room (while we enjoyed the deck and Screened porch).
The gravel road is rough, with giant ruts and potholes. Arriving with a heavy trunk load after a rainstorm meant we struggled to get up the road in a few spots on day one. I’m taking my van in for an alignment next week. Just beware that folks mean it when they say it’s a rough road! But, if you want a great view, you’ve got to get there somehow!

One of the most peaceful places I’ve ever experienced. Very isolated, very private , and no one around to bother you. Incredible view and extremely clean. Beds were comfy and hot tub was great to watch the stars. Would 100% stay here again.
We also left some games in the pantry for the next guests! Hope the future renters enjoy this home as much as we did.

This is our 3rd year visiting blue ridge, each year we seem to make it a little further up the mountain. This was by far the best, unobstructed view we have ever had. The drive was slightly challenging, but we made it with no problem in a 2WD Truck. I would caution you to be mindful of the wind/fog factor and try to be back at the cabin safely if it is not a clear night. Also, both fire places are automatic so don't worry about bringing your own firewood 🙈
