This is a beautiful property. The home is immaculate, it feels like it was just updated. The rooms are equipped with anything you would need. Lots of linens, dishes, even a selection of toiletries. Kitchen has lots of extras for cooking and entertaining. When they say pet friendly they aren't kidding. There are pet dishes and toys, even a tie out by the beach sitting area. The only negative comment is the TV did not work at all. It seems like a prior tenant may have messed it up so nothing would work. Don't miss this home
Amazing little cabin tucked into the woods. Beautiful sunsets down by the beach and it’s really not that far from Sault Ste Marie. If there is an opportunity to stay here, take it!
We LOVED this place. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. We spent our days swimming and looking for rocks. We spent our evenings watching the sunset on the deck!

The site was beautiful, the lake the beach and the access to the lake. The concerns we had were the cabin/house. The upkeep of the home was not worthy of the cost. The shower curtain was moldy. The lamps in the house were either broken (the cord plug was broken, or the lamp stem was falling apart, or we had to find bulbs as they were missing). The deck lights occasionally worked. The solar lights on deck did not work. Very little outside firewood. Phone landline broke. The fireplace did not function until we figured out the pilot was in the OFF position. The TV did not work and after many attempts to contact the people in charge they finally got back to us to state, "yes we have had issues with the TV" (so why wasn't it repaired?) They came out and replaced the TV the next day (but really, should that not have been taken care of before the customer arrives?) The only "instructions " was 3 rumpled sheets of paper in a torn up 3 ring binder. Nothing on how the TV functioned, or the heat or the fireplace. The cookware is very worn and some of it was not functional whatso ever (deep scratched in the pans, dirty). The beach side screen slider was broke. The front door to the porch would not latch (it was broke). No place for guest clothing, we had to use our suitcases.Yes, it was late in the season, but we paid the same as May guests so why for the amount of we paid did the house not live up to its billing. A nice location but serious deficiencies in the home.
Just as described! Loved the privacy and having the beach right outside our door! It was quiet and just what we needed! We hope to come back again sometime!
The privacy of having our own beach was what made us pick this location. The deck with a BEAUTIFUL view made it all worth it. My daughter and I build a "rock rainbow" from all of the beautiful Lake Superior rocks we found. Would stay again!
This was a great house for my wife and I and our pup. Easy access to Lake Superior with a great elevated deck overlooking the beach and lake. Secluded home in the woods and we had the beach to ourselves. Great location - Sault Ste Marie 1/2 hour away, and less than an hour to whitefish point and st ignace.
