New Swimming pool! Private Family Home - Closest Villa to Zion National park!

Wonderful 4,100 sq. ft. custom home situated on 3/4 of an acre and bordering Zion National Park along the majestic Virgin River. The open layout features a master bedroom with 1 king bed and a huge master bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Bedroom 2 features two twin-sized beds. Bedroom 3 features 1 queen sized bed and en suite bathroom, and bedroom 4 is located on the basement level with 1 queen bed and an en suite bathroom.
Please note there is an attached owner suite with a separate entrance that is occupied part time.
The home features a central great room with a spacious gourmet kitchen with granite counters, bar seating for 7, dining area with seating for 8, and a living room area with an 86” smart TV, a large sectional sofa and electric fireplace. Additionally, there is a sunken den with large picture windows, TV, and a sandstone fireplace adjacent to the master suite as well as another living area in the basement with a 70” Smart TV and Queen-sized pull-out bed, adjacent to bedroom 4. There is a card/game room, stocked with family games, playing cards, and poker chips.
Outside you will find a newly constructed private swimming pool, spa, and chaise lounges. There is a large grass yard accented with evergreen and seasonal flowering trees set against the backdrop of the amazing views of Zion National Park. The outdoor patio features lounge chairs, sectional couch, and a BBQ area.
This home is an outstanding option for families, couples, or just a great gathering spot for close friends.

My family and I spent 1 week at Hummingbird Villa. The pictures don’t do justice to the property. The villa is amazing and the grandchildren loved the pool and the swimming hole down by the river. Highly recommend this property for a large family gathering. Its proximity to Zion (literally 1/4 mi away) and Bryce Canyon a 2 hr. drive made for an awesome adventure.

Perfect for Exploring

This place allows easy access into the park, as well as all there is to explore outside the park. It was off-season for the pool, but we loved the hot tub. There were a couple hitches getting everything to work in the beginning g, but everyone was very responsive in fixing things. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Zion

This property is amazing! It is incredibly beautiful, very large, clean, quiet and well stocked. The views were stunning and we enjoyed several nearby restaurants (all of which were delicious!) We loved the pool and especially the hot tub after our long hikes. The pedestrian entrance to Zion was an easy walk which we appreciated. It allowed us to sleep in instead of stressing over a parking space. For those who’d had enough hiking, this was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Our check-in was seamless and our questions were answered quickly. We happened to meet the maintenance man, Jimmy, who was wonderful. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Perfect location!

This property was conveniently located right outside of Zion visitor center. We walked there daily. The shuttle made it easy to go into town since parking was hard to find in town. The house was clean and spacious and had several areas for tv, games and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside. The space was perfect lounging or watching sunsets. Great views!

Location, seclusion,and comfort.

Hummingbird was an oasis in Zion, the pictures, though stunning, don't quite do it justice. The afternoon view from the back deck, the proximity to the park, 5 min walk, to the park entrance, and the space in the house: places for all eight to be together and places time and talk throughout the house. The landscaping in the backyard makes for a feeling of privacy that was unexpected so close to everything in town. Thank you, Alison.

A treasure!

This property is nothing but wonderful! I've stayed at many short-term rentals and this is probably my favorite. The house itself is amazing. It has everything you could want and so much more. Let me just say that there are motion sensor night lights in the ceiling! It's these kinds of details that make this property so special. The location can't be beat. Sitting in the backyard is so beautiful and relaxing. You will not want to leave. Its a short walk to the park entrance and great restaurants. The diversity of the neighborhood just added to our experience. Our son and our dog both got to meet cows for the first time! We all can't wait to go back. Next time with friends though, because the house is huge.

THE Zion base camp you really want

Okay. First things first. That photo you're looking at, with the crazy pool and the mountains in the background? That's the Hummingbird Villa's large, beautiful pool (and hot tub) and the actual view, which is Zion National Park. Not shown: the dozens of hummingbirds, mule deer, and friendly little lizards we saw every day there during our stay. Anyhow, this place is exactly the terrific creature comforts counterpart you want to a rugged trip to Zion. The park itself is crazy close (it's literally a ~10 minute walk to the Visitor Center entrance, which happens to be next to a great brewpub), and the rest of Springdale's restaurants and shops are all within very easy reach. But you want to hear about the house itself. So! Huge master bedroom + bath. 3 other very comfortable bedrooms. Robust AC. Lots of hot water. Big smart TV in the living room. Modern and well-appointed kitchen. Crazy views. You're a 10-minute walk from Zion, and a 2-hour drive to Bryce. Ample parking, if you're in a group with more than 1 car. Just off the main road, so convenient but still very private. So glad we stayed here.

Wow!!!

So the house itself is just gorgeous. Very spacious and comfortable. It has all the amenities one could want on vacation. BedRooms were large. Bathrooms were clean. Common areas were wonderful with Gabe’s galore. Also the kitchen was fully stocked and we even made dinner using the crock pot one night. The pool and outdoor area was just incredible complete with pool toys. And the view from the backyard was worth the price. Simply incredible. The location of the villa was also a huge positive. We were able to walk into the park everyday. We saw quite a bit of wildlife near the property and of course many hummingbirds. If you have a group up to 10- i highly recommend staying here!

Best vacation

My husband and I stayed with our 3 adult daughters and their significant others. The house could not have fit our needs any better. The rooms were comfortable and clean. But, the best part was the large dining table over the counter from the open kitchen. We had our “Big Chill” dinner preps going, sometimes grilling. No, the best part was the very short walking distance to the entrance of the park - easy shuttles, hardly any wait time. Wait, the best part was relaxing on the patio after a hike with the gorgeous view of mountains in the distance, while some of us went and soaked in the small river behind the property. Oh, I forgot another ‘best’ was on the same patio at night, watching the expanse of the stars in the sky. However, the very best part of our week was being with family in a lovely home where we felt at home.

I can’t say enough about this rental. The house was fantastic, the location is incredible, the views are awesome. The hosts were generous. I would give it 6 stars if I could. It was, hands down, the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. It was worth every penny. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Zion.

Hummingbird Villa was perfect for our family!

We all had a great time at Zion and the Hummingbird Villa was the perfect beginning and ending to every day. The property had everything we needed and is perfectly located just outside of the park entrance. Bonus was the local deer neighbors. Would most definitely love to come back (maybe when it’s a little cooler) 😊

Our extended family of six adults and four kids under nine all loved this property! Walk to Zion, plenty of room to be together, and if you wanted, some alone time. This was our second time staying here, and I am sure it won’t be our last!

perfect for large families

this was our first time visiting Zion our trip consisted of elderly parents and small children, the home was perfect because we were able to enjoy the enclosed yard we BBQ, played a family game of volley ball, corn hole and even attempted to fly a kite. the views from the sitting area were amazing. plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen easy to cook for a large family. beds were all comfortable. air conditioning worked great. plenty of parking. short walk to park entrance and shopping areas. i would definitley recommend to my friends and family

In 2002, we took a road trip from California to visit a relatively unknown National Park that was recommended by a relative. We will never forget what it felt like as we made our way around the bend just past Rockville. We were immediately dwarfed by the immensity of sandstone cliffs, painted in gradients of burnt umber. It was love at first sight.

Since then, we made it a point to visit the town of Springdale and Zion National Park at least once (if not several) times a year. It became the backdrop for our wedding in 2006, and the site of our dream home in 2019. We are thrilled to share this magical place with friends, family, and travelers - both familiar and unfamiliar with the Park.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the area in the early 2000's and made it a point o visit several times a year. We were guests of the Hummingbird for a few years and hopped on the opportunity when it was listed for sale. This is our dream home and we hope to retire here full time in the near future!
