Romantic Seneca Lake Waterfront Escape/Hot Tub/Wine Trail/Pets

Welcome to the coziest cottage on Seneca's west side. Completely remodeled in October, 2018 - inside and out. This cottage is in a very private and quiet setting. All new floors, roof, porch roof, and boathouse roof in fall of 2018. Enjoy the awesome views from the hot tub overlooking the lake. There is large screen cable TV and high speed wireless Internet. The front of the cottage has an awesome view of the lake through a mostly glass wall. That view is accessible from most of the cottage. Dinner with the family or breakfast at sunrise can be enjoyed on a large covered deck overlooking the lake, or on the dock. Has charcoal grill and fire pit by the water. Very large bedrooms, including a king master. Modern new appliances in kitchen - new ceramic tile bathroom. Very well decorated and exceptionally clean. 2 tennis courts nearby. 3 golf courses within 15 minutes. In-cottage massages and limo tours at door available. There are only a few stairs down to the lake and even a small beach for children. We are in a VERY central location which puts us close to most of the regions premier wineries and nearby towns. We are 6 miles from shopping, groceries, gas, restaurants, and movie theaters. 8 miles from state boat launch and boat rentals. Road open year round and easily accessible in winter. Walking distance to the Outlet Trail for hiking and biking between Seneca and Keuka lakes. Walk to tennis courts and new Tot Lot. Cottage is modern and exceptionally clean. Award for Excellence every year . Excellent rental for those with pets [fenced in yard]. Easily accessible all year, including winter.
In cottage massages, private wine tours, kayak and canoe rentals, motor boats, horseback riding, bike rentals, yoga are all available for the asking, and at various costs. Please contact us for any details.

Finger Lakes getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice - comfortable for four adults. The weather could have been better, but it was relaxing. Steps to the lake were more than we thought - a lot of them and kind of steep. Overall, it was a nice time away.

Awesome getaway on the lake

House was perfect for a family getaway on the lake. House has two large size bed rooms and a large family room. Great view of the lake with a deck overlooking the dock and lake. Hottub was excellent to relax in as well.

Fantastic location

Spent a great weekend at this property. The views of the lake are phenomenal and the hot tub really makes chilly spring evenings on the lake that much more enjoyable. This is my second time staying here and would come again!

Perfect romantic getaway

We had an absolutely perfect vacation. The house is adorable with everything to make for the perfect stay. From the amazing views and the peaceful atmosphere to the hot tub and fire pit right on the water, we had the best time! Thank you again!

Great view

Cottage is near the end of a dead end road and is very peaceful. Wonderful view of sun and moon rise. Although the cottage needs some updating, it was immaculate which is more important for me.

Weekend on the lake

Such a perfect location! The cottage is right on the water, amazing views from the living room, porch and dock! It’s close to everything you could possibly want to explore. We did a day in Canandigua and another day near Penn Yan checking out breweries. The cottage itself was clean and spacious. Filtered water was a nice touch. It had everything we needed. Definitely hope to come again.

Beautiful Lake Views

Our long weekend at the cottage was great. We loved the views of the lake from the deck and the fenced in yard. The bedrooms are very nice and the living area comfortable. The steps down to the water are a little rough and need some work. Susan was great to work with and helpful about the area.

Great place to stay

This was a great house to stay in. We stayed for Deck the Halls for the weekend. There were a few negative reviews that made me a bit nervous but it was far from the negative things that were said. The floors were replaced and look awesome! We all loved them. We didn't get to enjoy the lake because it was too cold. There was a significant snow the morning we arrived but they already had the sidewalk shoveled and we had no issues. The hot tub was great! We enjoyed getting in and seeing the snow glisten. The queen bed was a bit noisy to sleep in but it was comfortable. Keep in mind it is a house not a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay it was perfect for the 4 of us! We will look at this house again if we are staying for the weekend.

Beware

The inside of the cottage and cute and super clean. However the outside needs work. The door to porch is a joke. Hard to open and screen in broke. The hot tub was nice but very heavy top to get off and on. The check in process was the worse. My daughter and her husband drove from Virginia for over 10 hours and were eager to get out of the car. "Martha" whoever she is threatened us because they were early. They did not enter the cabin with their stuff until the cleaning lady said she was through. Martha's spy camera should be moved to see the entrance of the cabin not the upper driveway and yard. Also asked during the week who else was there. No one was but the cabin next door's drive had parked their car behind ours. Again the spy camera not giving the whole story. Thank god there was so much to do in the area that made up for the things listed above.

Property worked out perfectly for 3 adults and 2 dogs. We appreciated the fenced in yard and access to the water. Hot tub was a nice bonus and the temp was just right.

Nuce but a little updating needed

The queen bed mattess was very squeeky and the room got hot. A new matress and ceiling fan would help. Super quiet location and peaceful. Spotted Deck creamery was super close and delicious. I would definitely come back.

Convenient location and very clean

We really enjoyed our lake get-a-way. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The street was very quiet with friendly neighbors. The location was a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. For those traveling with kids- the tot area mentioned in the description is a 15 minute walk, so driving there is more realistic with kids. Also there really isn’t a beach area for the kids to swim as listed. We brought life jackets so our kids jumped off the dock to swim and climbed the loosely attached ladder to get out.

Great Stay

We had a great week at the property. Early June so the weather was still cool and the lake COLD! We wanted a week of relaxed time to read and be together. It was perfect. The cottage was well equipped. We loved the covered deck where we could hang out even in the rain looking over the lake. The only negative was a soft King bed, and no instructions as to where the washer and dryer were located. We hunted around and finally found it in the basement which was only accessible from outside. Once we found it, we were pleased with the full size washer and dryer. We would definitely come back to this cottage.

Rental House right on Lake Senwca

Very quiet peaceful getaway right on Lake Seneca. The property was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the fire pit and hot tub overlooking the water were wonderful ways to relax after exploring Watkins Glen and the local wineries!

Great weekend getaway

Had a great stay! The location was perfect, close to the wineries & only a 20 min drive to Watkins Glen! Enjoyed beautiful sunrises from the covered porch & relaxing evenings in the hot tub! The only thing I had a problem with was the large gaps in the fence that my dogs could easily get through & the fact they needed to be on the leash while in the yard. Not a huge problem but not what I expected

A friend and I decided to go for a little wine tasting. Not exactly the best weather or time of year for it, but hey….. the place was cozy, the beds were comfy and the place was available. Hopefully we will make another trip for the summer and it will be available.

Why they chose this property

Our family has had a cottage nearby since 1930, and since has added 4 more in the same vicinity. When these latter cottages were purchased, we knew from years of experience that this location is one of the most desireable on any of the Finger Lakes. Our cottage is very accessible year around, has ease of access to the water, enjoys peace and solitude, as well as privacy, and has beautiful views of the lake. The area behind the cottage is lawn and woods, which is also very scenic. We found the cottage to have a real, quaint lake front cottage feeling. It is cozy with lots of windows and light. We also liked the fact that the bedrooms were very large for a cottage, unlike many cottages we had seen. There are no big drop offs at the water, so our children and our grandchildren can enjoy playing in the water without fear. It was the nicest of all the cottages we looked at, and our family loves it.
